We’re excited to announce that this year we’re taking our Supplier Forum and Supplier of the Year Awards to new heights by combining them into one grand event.

This combined event will not only celebrate the outstanding contributions of our suppliers, but also provides a valuable opportunity for networking, knowledge-sharing and strategic alignment.

Again, we are bringing both our Off and On-Premise merchandising and supplier communities closer, and we’re eagerly anticipating the opportunity to come together once more in person to honour their amazing achievements throughout F24.

Amidst another year marked by exceptional innovation and new product launches, we invite you to nominate those who deserve acknowledgment.

We look forward to gathering with you to celebrate their successes on Thursday, 12 September.

The Awards

This year we’ll be shaking things up a bit and announcing our winners during the combined Supplier Forum and Supplier of the Year Awards session.

These awards are all about giving props to the hard work, dedication, enthusiasm and wins of all our suppliers, both Off and On-Premise. Let’s be real, our suppliers are the foundation of what we do and play a crucial role in serving our purpose of building a more sociable future, together.

Fourteen awards, including three major categories - Small Supplier of the Year (Retail), Large Supplier of the Year (Retail), and On-Premise Supplier of the Year - will be announced on the day. Seven categories will be nominated by us, while nominations for the other seven categories are open to both suppliers and our Endeavour team members. All awards will be judged on work done during F24.

Sustainability Award

This award recognises a supplier that has sustainability at its heart. The winner will demonstrate business practices on a specific project or product that goes above and beyond to create a more sustainable future for our industry.

To nominate a supplier for this award, please provide:

Fourth Wave Wine Tread Softly

In the landscape of eco-conscious wineries, Tread Softly stands out as a beacon of sustainability. Committed to their pledge of planting a native tree for every twelve bottles sold, Fourth Wave Wine has forged a formidable partnership with Carbon Neutral. Together, they have orchestrated the planting of over one million trees within the pristine confines of the Yarra Yarra biodiversity corridor in Western Australia. This collaborative endeavor breathes new life into lands once ravaged by agricultural pursuits, nurturing the revival of Australian bushland.

The trees, nurtured by Fourth Wave Wine and Carbon Neutral, quietly work to soak up around 50,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide. Alongside this, they’re kickstarting the return of native plants and animals, bringing back the lively buzz of biodiversity to areas

once cleared for farming. Through this joint effort, Tread Softly is making a real difference in the world, paving the way for greener and more vibrant communities.

Reflecting on their achievements, our judges were captivated by Fourth Wave Wine’s unwavering dedication. They recognised the profound impact of the tree-planting initiative, applauding the team for their passion and commitment to environmental stewardship. Fourth Wave Wine’s tireless pursuit of regeneration embodies a vision of hope and renewal, inspiring others to follow in their footsteps towards a more sustainable future.

Product Innovation of the Year

An award that recognises product innovation that contributes to the acceleration or transformation of its category or develops a new sub-category, through either recruiting new customers or creating new occasions.

Hailing from Japan, -196 Double Grape captured the hearts and palates of customers worldwide. With a dedication to innovation and a commitment to quality, this product epitomises the marriage of tradition and cutting-edge technology.

Using Suntory’s groundbreaking Freeze Crush Technology, -196 Double Grape captures the essence of natural grape flavour. Through a process of freezing, crushing, and infusing whole grapes into premium spirits, a flavour profile has been created that is as authentic as it is bold.

Building upon the success of -196 Lemon, CCEP demonstrated a keen understanding of market trends and consumer preferences. -196 Double Grape was positioned to cater to a wide range of occasions, from lively gatherings to moments at home.

This product not only met but exceeded the expectations of our customers. Its resounding success serves as a testament to its exceptional quality, innovative approach, and dedication to providing consumers with truly remarkable drinking experiences.

Carlton & United Breweries Fruity Beer

Carlton & United Breweries stood out as the winner last year, showcasing a remarkable collaboration with Endeavour Group.

Through research and an understanding of consumer behaviour, CUB and Endeavour engineered a launch that was nothing short of disruptive. We partnered to launch a brand to market with scale in a new sub-category, and reinvigorate the categoryparticularly amongst MilZ customers.

Judges praised CUB for their practical approach and their knack for identifying and capitalising on market opportunities. From inception to execution, their partnership with Endeavour Group demonstrated seamless teamwork, resulting in a product that left a lasting impression on consumers and industry experts alike.

This award recognises the supplier that has achieved an outstanding on-premise, retail or digital campaign activation across our channels with a multi-team, collaborative effort.

Australian Vintage Limited

Sooshi Mango

Australian Vintage Limited emerged as a standout last year with their remarkable success in collaboration with the popular comedy trio - Sooshi Mango.

Their joint venture, the Vino Tour, brought Johnny, Vince, and Sam’s range directly to fans in-store, offering a unique opportunity for interaction and product sampling. This unconventional approach proved highly successful, with the tour driving recordbreaking sales during in-store sampling sessions.

The impact of the Vino Tour was undeniable, with sales of Johnny, Vince, and Sam’s Vino at Dan Murphy’s stores experiencing a remarkable increase of over 150% during the tour weeks, maintaining strong performance thereafter.

Judges were impressed by the immense popularity of the venture among consumers.

The enthusiastic response, evident in long queues for bottle signings and increased sales, underscored the trio’s exceptional connection with their audience. The judges commended Australian Vintage Limited for their achievement and applauded their ability to captivate and engage their fanbase with such creativity and success.

Digital Partner of the Year

This supplier embraces best practices through their understanding of the world of e-commerce, demonstrated by the quality of product content and attributes supporting customer engagement.

Mighty Craft

Mighty Craft was one of the most active suppliers across Endeavour’s digital channels which earned them the title of Digital Partner of the Year in 2023. Their proactive engagement across digital channels consistently elevated the customer experience.

Their innovative approach to how they activated their brand and interacted with customers set a new standard.

A standout example is their remarkable digital campaign, Better Beer’s Day For It Day, which exemplified their forwardthinking strategies.

Judges unanimously applauded Mighty Craft’s strategic acumen. They highlighted the success of Better Beer, an influencer-led brand thriving in digital realms, as a prime example of Mighty Craft’s ability to blend channels and activations seamlessly to create enchanting experiences.

Pernod Ricard Australia

Pernod Ricard Australia secured the Supply Chain Award for their outstanding collaborative efforts with our replenishment and merchandise teams.

Their commitment to improving stock supply to Endeavour was evident through proactive communication, meticulous planning, and effective forecasting. By tightly managing promotional activities, they successfully navigated the unpredictable supply chain landscape, ensuring consistent availability of Spirits and Champagne and enhancing customer satisfaction during key trading periods.

Judges were highly impressed by Pernod Ricard’s collaborative planning and delivery, particularly during the Christmas season. Their significant improvements from the previous year, including exceeding expectations in inbound delivery and supply, demonstrated their dedication to

excellence in every aspect of supply chain management. Pernod Ricard’s exemplary performance in collaborative sessions on Whisky and Champagne further solidified their well-deserved recognition in this category.

Awarded to the supplier that has openly embraced Endeavour’s retail media channels as part of their total media mix to drive outstanding in-store and digital campaigns that bring together customers, brands and products.

Lion positioned Stone & Wood as the go-to Craft and trade up beverage for the Christmas and holiday season. Their strategy of creating immersive in-store experiences at BWS and Dan Murphy’s, utilising key MixIn touch points like Sponsored Products and Digital Screens, proved highly effective. This approach, coupled with maximising reach, content quality, and activations, significantly strengthened customer connection and brand awareness.

Judges were impressed by Lion’s strategic collaboration with MixIn and their adept utilisation of available assets. The remarkable outcomes of the campaign, with Stone & Wood prominently featured and capturing customer attention, demonstrate the success of this partnership.

CUB has consistently demonstrated their dedication and commitment to helping drive the Beer category forward through customer lead innovation, increased efficiency, improved sustainability, and better customer experiences. They continually strive to strengthen the relationship for better collaboration and communication, that ultimately benefits our customers.

CUB had collaborated closely with Endeavour to identify and prioritise strategic growth opportunities. Together, they have spearheaded numerous initiatives, including Segmentation, Beer Reimagined, Fruity Beer, VB Solar, and the introduction of a new Craft sub-category through Aussie Wheat Ale.
