EXPLORE ARCHERY

Explore Archery is an innovative educational program focused on introducing novices to the sport of archery. Date: Thursdays, March 2–30 Time: 6:15–7:30 p.m. Location: Recreation Center Cost: $30 for the session Ages: 8–12 years of age Registration: February 6–March 1

ARCHERY COME AND TRY DAYS

If you’ve never picked up a bow and arrow but want to see what all the hype is about, this is your chance! This single-day event will introduce participants to the basics of the sport. Space is limited. Dates: Friday, May 12 at The WREC Friday, August 18 at The Buzz Time: 6:00–7:15 p.m. Cost: $10 per participant per class Ages: 8+ years of age Registration: February 6–May 10 and February 6–August 16

TEEN/ADULT BEGINNER ARCHERY

Join us for a 3-week session as we explore one of the fastestgrowing sports in the southeast! Date: Wednesdays, August 16, 23, and 30 Time: 6:15–7:15 p.m. Location: The Buzz Cost: $15 for the session Ages: 13+ years of age Registration: February 6–August 14

VOLUNTEER PARK CLEAN-UP AND MAINTENANCE

Join us as a volunteer to clean and maintain our beloved parks! We will provide as many tools as possible. Please register for this event so we can plan accordingly. FISHING CAMP

Young anglers will get hooked on the sport of fishing during this experience. Due to the popularity of this camp, participants are allowed to register for only one Fishing Camp session per summer. Bring your own lunch, snacks, drinks, and sunscreen. GARLAND MOUNTAIN DAY HIKE

Join us for a beautiful morning hike (approximately a 4-mile loop) as we enjoy the natural beauty of the Appalachian foothills! Difficulty level for this hike is considered moderate. Date: Saturday, April 15 Time: 10:00 a.m. Location: Garland Mountain Horse and Hiking Trails Cost: $10 per participant Ages: All ages are welcome (minors must be accompanied by an adult) Registration: February 6–April 13

LEWIS PARK NIGHT HIKE

Join us as we hike through the trails of Lewis Park at dusk (approximately 1.5 miles) to add an extra layer of excitement to the adventure! Snacks and water will be provided. LITTLE RIVER KAYAK RUN
