Located just 20 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, the historic City of Pasadena is an awesome place to head with older kids – and a worthy vacation spot in its own right. My daughter, Perdida, 12, had always wanted to see California, so she was excited to head there and soak up the culture, food scene, and natural beauty of the Golden State.
