Hello New York District!
My name is Erica Swirsky, and I am the newly elected District Governor! I am a junior at Saranac Lake High School and I have been in Key Club since I was a freshman. I loved my term as Lieutenant Governor so much, I was inspired to run for Governor! I had such an amazing time meeting everyone at the Leadership Training Conference! It is always such an incredible time being able to connect with other Key Clubbers and share experiences. If you ever have any questions, feel free to reach out to me!
Theme of the Month April's theme of the month is...
ANIMALS! Some ways you could support this theme are... Make dog toys out of t-shirt strips and donate them to your local animal shelter Organize a time for your club to hang out with abandoned animals Set up a walk-a-thon to benefit a charity that protects endangered animals Set up a collection bin at your school where people can donate to animals in need (ie. canned dog food, collars, cat toys)
What I've Done Since my term started, I've focused on connecting with all of the Lieutenant Governors and making sure they get off on a good start! I've also spent time researching charities for the Governor's Project and setting up what I would like to see the Lieutenant Governors complete this service year.
Winner's Circle
As the service year progresses, I will feature clubs who have done outstanding work! If you would like your club or a recent service project you've done to be featured, please send photos and ideas to your Lieutenant Governor!
