Lieutenant Governor’s Letter Hello Division 14, The end of the service year will be over before you know it! If there is anything your club really would like to accomplish, think about starting to create plans for it within the next few weeks! The Leadership Training Conference is coming up! I highly suggest your club considers attending. For more information, please look on page 5. Thank you to all the clubs that are completely up to date on paperwork and dues! You guys rock! As my term as Lieutenant Governor comes to a close, I just want to extend my thanks to every Key Clubber and advisor who has made my journey absolutely incredible! You all truly inspire me. As always, you can email me with any questions at ericaswirsky.ltg@nydkc.org Yours in Service, Erica Swirsky, Lieutenant Governor

Leadership Training Conference What: Leadership Training Conference (LTC) When: March 23rd—March 25th, 2018 Where: The Desmond Hotel in Albany Theme: Birthday Bash! What is the LTC? The LTC is when hundreds of Key Clubbers from all over the New York District gather to celebrate a year of service and learn more about leading and serving. It is an amazing experience! This beautiful graphic was made by Eva Reese, Division 1 LtG!

Running For Higher Office Are YOU interested in running for a District or International Board Position? Look no further! All necessary materials will be listed on this page. Here is the Elections Packet. In this packet, you will find all of the necessary information. If you are interested in running for Governor, Secretary, Treasurer, or an International Position, please carefully read through this packet and contact me with any questions!

Running for higher office is an incredible opportunity and all are encouraged to do it! It is a commitment, but definitely worth it!

District Project This year’s District Project is Sunrise Day Camp. Sunrise Day Camp is a project that gives children with cancer a chance to laugh without stress completely free of charge. And since this is a day camp, patients are still able to continue their treatment. There are currently three camps located in New York (Long Island, Pearl River, Staten Island). You can check out their website here.

Governor’s Project This year’s Governor Project is The Honeybee Conservancy! As you may know, the bees are dying at an alarming rate. This organization stands to help rebuild the population and educate the population about what a danger the loss of bee could be. The Conservancy builds Bee Sanctuaries that schools, clubs, or people can adopt. You can visit their website here. Note: Please do not send money directly to these organizations. Instead, please send them to District Administrator John Goldstein at 590 Mullock Road, Port Jervis, NY 12771. Included with your check, please send a note stating which charity your check is for. Checks should be made out to Mr. Goldstein and your club name and Division should be included. A big check will be presented to the organizations at the LTC!
