The University of Louisville basketball program was spanked by the NCAA for their sex scandal. They must vacate 123 wins from 20112015 and be the first school stripped of its NCAA Division 1 National Championship. Louisville’s slick coach Pitino seems to have gone into hiding. We think he should refund his high salaries from those years. Hopefully the NCAA will give the more than 20 rule-breaking programs equal sanctions and restore the integrity of NCAA basketball.

On Feb 17th Liz and I were honored to receive the Wisconsin Distinguished Holstein Breeder award at the State Holstein Convention. We’d like to say a big thank you to our family, friends, fellow Holstein breeders, and anyone else who have had a hand in our journey over the years. Also special was seeing our longtime friends, Paul & Debbie Ossmann of Emerald Acres, De Pere, WI, accepting the Bull (Baxter) and Cow (Bell Tammy) to be added to the WI Wall of Fame. They also purchased Mayerlane-SA BWM Misty as a heifer in our 2002 dispersal. This BW Marshall from EX-95 Lead Mae went on to score EX-94 and make 6 records over 2000F.
