EROWA ITS Tooling System
Precise clamping of tools and workpieces
The EROWA ITS chuck holds both tools and workpieces with unique precision, stability and repeating accuracy. Its uses are so versatile that it is the basis of a sophisticated modular workholding system.

Once the workpiece is clamped on an ITS workpiece carrier, it remains on its workholding system during the entire production run. The workpiece data is passed by the integrated chip from machine to machine.

Automated loading with an EROWA robot provides the CNC machine with previously unimaginable autonomy. Off-peak and night hours are utilized productively, and throughput times are reduced. The EROWA process control system consistently combines all data and controls the entire production.

Changeover without loss of time thanks to fixed reference position: The chucking spigot and the centering panel ensure precise positioning and powerful clamping of the electrode-holder. While the machine is producing, the next job is being prepared. Then the setup is converted quickly, without loss of time by realigning and positioning of the electrode holder.
