For producing workpieces as completely as possible and economically, 5-sided machining in one setup offers great benefits. The auxiliary times are significantly reduced and errors during reclamping are avoided. The EROWA self-centering vise is ideal for precise and flexible use on the machine tool.

The robust design of the self-centering vise is ideal for heavy-duty machining. Selecting the appropriate jaws adds even more strength. The self-centering vise 148 has a clamping range of 5-155 mm.

THE FACTS

• Pallet and vise-bodies are made from one piece. • Firm connection of the chuck via

The workpiece is powerfully clamped and easily accessible from all sides.

EROWA self-centering vise

The self-centering vise 148 P is made entirely from one piece and ensures absolute stability. The integrated pallet with P centering is the precise interface to the chuck.

The entire body of the self-centering vise is manufactured from stainless hardened steel. In addition, the slide and the spindle have a high-tech coating and are wearfree. The high-precision spindle and the guides are also protected against dirt.

Depending on machining forces

For use on small machines, the selfcentering vise is available in a smaller design as Model 85 P. The properties are the same as those of its big brother.

The SlipStop® surface prevents unhardened workpieces from slipping. The holding force is more than doubled. The jaws can be set up easily and quickly by hand without any tools. The self-centering vise version without pallet can be mounted as to other EROWA palletizing systems as a workpiece holder.
