URBASTYLE® produces planters in four architectural concrete finishes – fair-faced, microetched, polished and velvet – and in a wide range of natural colours. Standard ranges include traditional, contemporary and innovative design styles. Benches, seats, bollards and steps are available in matching finishes.

Composition and manufacture URBASTYLE’s products are made in a modern production facility and the company draws on inhouse expertise in traditional and contemporary concrete forming and finishing techniques.

Composition and manufacture WoodBlocX are made from sustainably-sourced, FSC-accredited, treated Scots pine and are fitted together using recycled plastic dowels.

VersiWall™ vertical green wall planter system

VersiWall™ GP is a versatile, easy-to-install and low maintenance modular vertical greening system which offers architects and developers a cost-effective method of turning monotonous walls into aesthetically-pleasing living plant walls.

The system is based on a planting tray that fits either two plants in 4” nursery pots, or it can be used for direct planting. Several tray mounting options are available (propriety panels, weld mesh, rods or steel wire) to suit wall conditions and minimise wall penetrations. Six universal anchoring points on each tray enable safe, easy installation by just one person. Trays can also be arranged in a variety of horizontal and vertical spacing to provide flexibility in planting density and layout.

Trays can be individually replaced or removed for maintenance or design change, while anti-lift arms prevent inadvertent dislodgement of trays.

Composition and manufacture VersiWall™ GP is made from UV-stabilised recycled polypropylene, meeting the criteria for international “Green Building” certification.

Over the last twenty years Round Wood of Mayfield has planned, erected and finished thousands of oak-framed buildings.

• Bespoke buildings Bespoke oak-framed buildings have ranged from garden gazebos and single-bay garages, up to large office complexes and houses. Regardless of size, every project is approached with the same close attention to detail.

• Kit buildings Whilst the majority of buildings are tailored to bespoke requirements, kit garages are available through the company’s Chippy range. A total of 47 standard designs are offered with gable, hip or barn-end roofs. These can include half-bays, aisles and log-stores.

Composition and manufacture All frames are traditionally crafted to a very high specification using oak-pegged mortice-and-tenon joints. Green oak is always used, as this tightens the structure when drying out.

To ensure fit, oak frames are pre-assembled before leaving the workshop. They can then be erected by Round Wood’s own nationwide team, or other carpenters/fitters who may already be on site.
