For almost 30 years, the United Nations has brought countries together to take part in global climate summits (called COPs or ‘Conference of the Parties’). Within this short time frame, climate change has transformed from a matter of concern into a global priority of the utmost urgency. This year will be the 26th annual summit and it will be taking place in Glasgow, Scotland, at The Scottish Event Campus (SEC), from Sunday, Oct 31 to Friday, November 12. This won’t just be another event filled with dignitaries and experts. Many people believe that COP26 is the last best hope for the world.
