Equality and diversity
We have a dedicated safeguarding team who are located within Student Services. We care about all our students and want you to feel supported and safe at all times within the College.
Across the College we value the diversity of our College community and promote inclusion for all. We make sure that all of our students receive the same provision and access to our services. We encourage a culture of respect and commit to tackling prejudice at all levels. By encouraging students and staff to share their own experiences, we aim to promote mutual understanding.
Welfare We have a specialist Welfare Team to support you to stay safe and well whilst at the College. We offer initial guidance and support on a variety of matters and are able to signpost you to a more specialist service if needed. Your wellbeing is important and the team will discuss any concerns which you may have about your personal circumstances. We can support you with: >> Mental and physical health concerns >> Sexual health and relationships >> Drug and alcohol awareness >> Bullying including online safety and cyberbullying >> Financial circumstances >> Housing problems Keeping you safe and well is a priority for the team and help is always at hand if you need it.
Finance and travel We have a trained finance team who can support you with any questions you may have about the student bursary, bus travel and provide financial information, advice and guidance.
