large crowd gathered in Memorial Dr despite the threatening weather for the now traditional Eumundi walk and service for ANZAC Day. The early morning service at Verrierdale was also well attended. Diggers and their descendants and supporters were accompanied on the walk by the Noosa Pipe Band, Woombye Troop Second Light Horse Regiment member
John Pawley and his horse Culley, two jeeps and locals and visitors paying their respects. There were many poignant moments with the tolling of the bell for the 20 Eumundi men lost during WWI, the wreath laying for the seven WWII Eumundi service men who gave their lives, and the playing of the Last Post. he Australian Body Art Carnivale is a shining star in the Eumundi cosmos.
