HHC Corporate Offices

Project Information

Located on the first floor of Two Summerlin, the Howard Hughes Corporate Offices reflect the founder as master developer, innovator, and industrialist of aviation and flight. This corporate office evokes these sentiments from the minute you enter the front doors of the main suite. The large custom wall and ceiling metal panels are replicated to show off one of the founder’s favorite planes as the focal point of the reception area. The use of walnut and stone accents set the tone for this stately corporate headquarters in Las Vegas.

Collaborative areas and open workstations promote teamwork. The perimeter space is lined with modular glass walls with barn doors to provide privacy for management as needed. Splashes of color are used sparingly in the overall scheme.

Cirrus Company

Project Information

Our brief was to create a contemporary and tailored office environment that met the needs of an expanding operations of companies, while aligning with company’s vision. The EV&A project team worked in partnership with the CEO and key staff members to establish guidelines for creating a healthy, environmentally sound and comfortable space for its employees.

Among the key drivers were the maximization of the exposure to natural light, designing an acoustically appropriate environment and selecting ergonomically smart furniture solutions. The new facility’s clear and open site lines and access to views have forged stronger connections between staff members. Cirrus Company

Our design charge for this client was to achieve a space that effectively supported the way the staff worked with one another by enhancing and elevating the work environment. EV&A worked closely with the key stake holders to provide appropriate closed work rooms that have significantly increased employee collaboration, ranging from team rooms to the executive board room.

EV&A presented to staff on multiple occasions sharing the design decisions to increase their understanding of the office’s functionality. The shift to a more open work environment is inspiring staff to collaborate effectively and produce better and more creative ideas.

HHC @ 1700

Project Information

Working again with HHC for their latest corporate office space was an opportunity for EV&A to design a brand-new space to fit the organization’s new team culture. Working closely with their staff committee that had been empowered by the company’s CEO to make critical decisions during the design process, EV&A developed multiple schemes that pushed the limits of the one-for-all culture.

Recognizing that staff functions vary from those who need privacy to get their work done to those who work in teams, EV&A developed plans that allowed staff to choose their most effective setting for the work at hand. Energetic social spaces then supported the idea of collecting staff in settings of two, four and up to 20 for office events and large gatherings.
