The core elemental energies for this year are indicated by the 4 Directional stars of 2016.
DIONYSUS [Gift]
This primary star represents the finer things in life, the side where you grab your party dress for a night out on the town. This spring you will see the emergence of this subtle blue. Combined with the Yin Fire - Rose Quartz tone, it brings a childhood memory of cotton candy.
ATHENA [Choice]
This primary star represents the war and wisdom, where statement pieces come into play. This vibrant colour will communicate to the public the strength and confidence of an individual. This green, a staple in the Gucci line, will spread like wildfire through 2016 spring fashion.
THINKER [Mission]
This star represents the philosophers of our community. For those who want to make subtle statements and choose comfort. This soft colour is perfect in pairings, this tone will compliment most if not all pieces in your wardrobe.
HERA [Overcome]

Great bridal looks require a little love and devotion. We all know that washing, blow-drying, and heat-styling on a daily basis makes for a messy head, full of split ends. Start repairing from the inside out. Experts believe that a diet filled with Vitamin B helps bring out your hair’s natural shine. Foods like fish, nuts, and eggs will give you a good head start.
When it comes to the best way to care for your face, there are many schools of thought but here are a few good pointers for common issues. A dermatologist can help those fighting a losing acne battle, by prescribing topical creams and oral pills, or administering facial peels to knock out bacteria and oils. Start seeing a dermatologist six months before the wedding. But the real secret to great skin? Water. Drink tons of H2O before and on your wedding day to make your face look dewy and radiant.
Dark circles and puffiness are common bride-to-be afflictions. A nightly application of eye cream, in combination with adequate sleep, will improve the appearance of dark circles and a cool compress once or twice a week (or as needed) helps to keep puffiness at bay. During the days before the wedding, steer clear of too much salty food, which can cause eyes to look swollen.

COLOUR & EMOTION
We have created the simple concept of a personal ID. The personal ID does not represent citizens of a country, but they are rather the number codes that derive precisely from the year, month, day, hour and minute of our births, and take into account the longitude and latitude of the birth place, as well as the true solar time. There are a total of nine numbers. The numbers 0 and 5 are repetitive. These two numbers are our main elemental attributes. Through these nine numbers, we can balance the five elemental energies that we need. The same IDs are also attached to all products. Therefore, you can buy the products to match with your elemental requirements.

9-Digital Number in fashion Everything you wear affects your life no matter how subtle it may be. The garments that you gravitate towards are chosen for a reason. They correlate to the five elemental energy levels that you produce and can either work to hinder or grow those energies. Every piece of clothing has a specific combination of energies that will work with your elemental energy. When you consider what elemental energy you produce, while also considering how every garment produces its own energy, you can affectively decide and introduce positive energies for your days ahead. Using the Colour & Emotion app, you can de-code what energies your garments produce and how compatible they are for you.

A special 9-digit ID number system is used to sort and categorize individual garments, and is derived from the concepts of Zeus Sensor and Body Source Code. The 9 digit system is broken down in the same manner as a person’s Destiny Number. Each digit is associated with one of the Five Elements and a Yin or Yang polarity. Like the Body Source Code, these elements are assigned to the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches of the four pillars of year, month, day and hour. The comparison between your Body Source Code and the 9 digit ID number of a garment allows you to understand the compatibility between the personal energies you produce versus what you choose to wear. When considering these 9 digit ID numbers, we take into account what makes up the garment. An in-depth analysis is done, from the source of the materials used to the country of manufacturing. The generated codes are true representations of the energy levels. Every garment has two specific deities that represent the base elemental structure. It takes multiple ideas strung together to form a concept. The same is true in fashion. An item of clothing is made up of multiple inspirational minds and factors, therefore when devising these ID numbers, a combination of two deities are used, each representing a specific element. The combination of these deities produces the basis for the 9 digit ID number of each garment. This coat’s energy is comprised of the combination of Zeus and Hestia. Its 9 digit ID number is:

In the year 1986 Cindy Crawford moved to New York City where she rose to steady fame. She became an icon, featured on several Vogue Magazine covers she continued to be an icon well into the millennial period. Burberry has branded stores and franchises around the world and sells through concessions in third-party stores. Queen Elizabeth II and the Prince of Wales have granted the company Royal Warrants. Aurora
This natural occurrence will leave you speechless, it is predominately seen in high latitude regions of our planet. The brightly coloured dancing lights are actually collisions between electrically charged particles from the sun that enter the Earth’s atmosphere. They are observed around the most northern and southern points of the planet, in the North they are called Aurora Borealis and in the South Aurora Australis. These displays of beauty come in many different shades of colour. The spectrum can span from: red, yellow, green, blue and purple. The lights may appear in many forms from patches or scattered clouds of light to streams, arcs and even rippling curtains of astounding beauty. Photos credit: pixabay.com. 52

What causes the Auroras? The northern lights are the result of collisions between particles in Earth’s atmosphere with the particles released from the sun’s atmosphere. The colours that light the sky are due to the different types of gas particles that collide. The yellow-green colour is produced by oxygen molecules located about 60 miles from the earth. The red auroras are produced by higher altitude oxygen particles at heights of 200 miles. Nitrogen is responsible for the purple-red colours that rarely light up the evening sky. The temperature above the surface of the sun is millions of degrees Celsius. At this temperature the collisions of gas particles are frequent. The free electroms and protons are thrown from the sun and hurled towards the earth by solar winds.

Where is the best place to view these breathing lights? As these lights span over such a huge area, observing these dancing lights isn’t limited to any single location. So long as you are situated near enough to each of the poles then you will have a chance of seeing the Auroras. In terms of the northern parallels, if you stay north of the 63rd latitude, you will encounter the breath taking lights.

When is the best time to observe them?
There is a direct cycle in seeing a strong aurora sighting, this would be an 11 year cycle. In the north the best season is during the winter. The long periods of darkness and the frequency of clear nights will provide you with great opportunities. Usually the best time of night to watch for these lights would be your local midnight hour.

Marchesa
With exquisitely embellished gowns, figure-hugging shapes and luxurious materials, Marchesa, named after the infamous fin de siècle socialite and femme fetale Marchesa Luisa Casati, successfully channels its namesake’s decadent style to a modern audience. British born Georgina Chapman and Karen Craig launched their highend fashion label in 2004. The design duo met while studying at Chelsea College of art and design in London. Together the designers have created a series of dramatic grown-up glamorous gowns featuring a deft manipulation of opulent fabrics that have graced many of Hollywood’s top events. The designers vocabulary of ornamentation is extensive, ranging from chiffon-gathered roses to tiered pompoms of tulle and from laser-cut waterfalls of organdy to heavy perforated lace.

Kanzashi
O R I E N TA L H A I R O R N A M E N T S • J A PA N Kanzashi were first used in Japan during the Jomon period. During this time, a single thin rod or stick was considered to have mystical powers that could ward off evil spirts. As a result, people would wear them in their hair, thus beginning the journey from then to the modern Japanese hair comb we know today.

During the Nara period, a variety of Chinese cultural aspects and items were brought to Japan, which included hair ornaments. During the Heian period, the traditional style of putting hair up was changed to wearing it long, tied back low. It was at this time that kanzashi began to be used as a general term for any hair ornament, including combs and hairpins. Kanzashi came into wide use during the Edo period, when hairstyles became larger and more complicated, using a larger number of ornaments. Artisans began to produce more finely crafted products, including some hair ornaments that could be used as defensive weapons. Nowadays, kanzashi are most often worn by brides; by professional kimono wearers such as geisha, or by adepts in Japanese tea ceremony and ikebana. However, there is currently a revival among young Japanese women who wish to add an elegant touch to their business suit. There are many varieties and many styles of wearing kanzashi. The way a geisha wears her kanzashi indicates her status immediately to an informed audience according to the type and location of the kanzashi.

The design of January kanzashi differs from year to year, but usually has an auspicious Japanese New Year theme. Shōchikubai is a popular choice, a combination of pine, bamboo and plum blossoms, (green, red and white) which are usually associated with celebrations.
Usually trailing deep pink, or sometimes red, plum blossoms, which are to be seen everywhere in Japan at this time and symbolize young love and the approach of spring.

Trailing yellow and white rapeseed flowers and butterflies, as well as peach blossoms, narcissus, camellia and peonies. A rare Kanzashi featuring dolls that are used to celebrate the Girl’s Day Festival during this month.
Trailing soft pink cherry blossom mixed with butterflies and bonbori lanterns, signaling the approach of summer. Cherry blossom viewing at this time of year is a major cultural event in Japan. Also, kanzashi consisting of a single silver butterfly made of mizuhiki cord are common.

Trailing purple wisteria and flag irises, usually in blue or pink. Irises denote the height of spring while wisteria is a flower often associated with the imperial court.
Trailing green willow leaves with carnations/pinks, or less commonly hydrangea flowers. Willow is a traditional image associated with geisha. This month is the rainy season in Japan, and therefore willow (a water-loving tree) and the washy blue of hydrangea are appropriate.
July – (YIN EARTH)
A u g u s t – ( YA N G M E TA L )
Kanzashi featuring a display of fans. These will usually be of the round variety, but occasionally folding fans are also featured. The fans refer to the Gion Festival which takes place at this time. This is a huge event held at the Gion geisha district in Kyoto, which involves large parades of portable shrines and dances. Fans are a staple component of keeping cool during the Japanese humid summers.
Large morning glory or susuki grass. The susuki grass appears as a starburst of spines. Senior maiko wear whitebacked silver petals and junior maiko wear pink-backed silver petals.

D e c e m b e r – ( YA N G W AT E R )
Trailing autumnal leaves that are usually composed of the very popular Japanese maple. The maple viewing is the autumn equivalent of cherry blossom viewing in Japan. Ginkgo and liquidambar leaves are also seen.
The Japanese make mochi at this time of year, and often decorate trees with them to represent white flowers. It is thought to be good luck to wear kanzashi featuring mochibana, or rice-cake flowers.

Buying Pearl Jewelry Pearls differ greatly in size, colour, and shape, depending on the variety of mollusk used, the growing conditions, and other factors such as harvesting techniques. Pearls may be white, cream, gray, or black. There is even a rare Tahitian pearl that is black with green overtones. Buying pearl jewelry today offers much more variety than the basic pearl necklace - although the beautiful, classic pearl necklace remains the most popular choice for pearl jewelry by far. An understanding of the way pearls are valued can help a consumer choose just the right piece of pearl jewelry, whether that is a pair of pearl earrings, a pearl bracelet, or something else. • PEARL LUSTER - refers to the intensity of the reflections on the pearl’s surface. Look for clear images reflected in the pearl for better luster. • PEARL SIZE - this is mostly a matter of personal preference. Larger pearls are typically used in necklaces, while smaller pearls may be more suitable for earrings. The larger the pearl, the higher its price tag, so buyers should balance what type of jewelry they want to purchase with what their budgets allow for. • PEARL SIMILARITY - refers to how well the pearls in a single piece of jewelry are matched. Even slight differences can create an unbalanced look or be a distraction. • JEWELRY STYLE - a buyer should consider her taste in clothing, or that of the recipient if the pearl if a gift. For example, a pair of chocolate pearl earrings might be more versatile and possibly better suited for a younger person who dresses more casually; a classic pearl choker might go better with more formal business attire. Follow the guideline above, it’ll be simple and easy to find the right pearls to outfit your life, wardrobe and personal energies. Un d er s ta n d in g P ea r l Neckl a ce L en g th s Collar

Persian Pearls The pearls that originate from the Persian Gulf have quite the reputation in the world of gems. They are known as the Basra pearls, they are longed for and famous worldwide for their beauty and rarity. The city of Al Brassah or as it is now known as Barsa in modern day Iraq was the spot where pearl traders originated. The main species of oyster in the Persian Gulf producing these pearls are Pinctada radiate (Gulf pearl oyster), and to a lesser extent around the species Pinctada margaritifera (Black-lip pearl oyster). The Basra pearls are a highly valued and treasured species. These pearls have a featured in recorded history as far back in time as 300 BC. The Basra pearls available nowadays are far and few in between. Most are characterised by irregular shape and a yellowish tint. Some have a distinctly pinkish tint too. Since most reaching the markets are from old family treasures, they are drilled pearls that have been disengaged from a strand.

Natural Basra pearls, especially undrilled ones with silvery–white colour and round /spherical shape are rare and extremely precious. In Vedic astrology, there is great power attributed to the Natural pearl. There are old-timers who swear by the effects of the Basra pearl like no other, and when it is a Basra in question, the shape of the pearl almost becomes inconsequential, so long as it is a natural basra pearl. So powerful and effective is the basra pearl that legends speak that just to view a real Basra pearl is extremely good fortune.

One Planet, Five Elements
LUCKY COLOUR AND LIVING STYLE
In this book, we convert the elemental energies of the universe into numbers and colours, making it easier for us to manipulate them to bring about balance and harmony in our living and working environments. Identifying the activation of magnetic energy fields that interact at different times and in different locations is the simple theory of Feng Shui. We believe that different magnetic energy fields, which generate electricity continuously, surround our environment. They affect the development of our physical structure. The strength of the signals transmitted by these different elemental energies will vary, just like the strength of the wifi signal that we receive will also vary from place to place. This book enables us to determine the Body Source Code of a building, so that we can match its suitability with ours. It also uses the creation, complement, and trade-off relationship cycles of the Five Elements to interpret “Feng Shui.

If it does not stretch when pulled, add a few drops of water. Drop from a spoon on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes in preheated 425 °F oven. Let cool.
