The best professional Gelato makers, both in Italy and the rest of the world, have always chosen Fabbri 1905 and its products conceived from the inspiration and knowledge of its founder, Gennaro Fabbri. It was Gennaro, with the help of his children, who created the many Gelato and confectionery specialities which still help artisans create their magic every day. Fabbri’s flagship product, “Marena con Frutto”, dates back to 1915. Based on a recipe of Gennaro’s wife, Rachele Buriani, Amarena Fabbri has been the company’s symbol for more than 100 years, also thanks to the famous blue and white jar, a gift from Gennaro to Rachele.

Amarena Fabbri and its jar are still icons of goodness and wholesomeness and continue the legacy of Italian tradition, which has always been Fabbri’s distinctive feature.

Since 1997, thousands of new Gelato and confectionery entrepreneurs in the international scenario have taken part in the Fabbri 1905 masterclasses, thereby confirming the huge success of this professional qualification project. Fabbri Masterclass provides technical support and training across Italy, thanks to a team of highly qualified technicians.

When social responsibility is certified Quality and responsibility have always been two staple ingredients of all Fabbri products. Fabbri’s social responsibility is expressed by the way it meets the needs of all those who choose its products. Over 800 gluten-free and over 400 lactose-free products are Fabbri’s answer to the needs of those who can’t eat certain ingredients but don’t want to renounce goodness and quality. That’s why Fabbri has not been using hydrogenated vegetable fats or palm oil for quite some time now. A company’s social responsibility is also measured by its ability to bring together different needs and cultures. Fabbri does it every day, as demonstrated by the over 600 Kosher certified Fabbri products (in accordance with the requirements of Jewish law) and 300 Halal Italia certified products (in accordance with the requirements of Muslim law). But there’s more. Fabbri also meets the needs of a growing number of vegan and environmentally aware consumers with VEGAN OK, its wide range of certified vegan products. To ensure the safety of the entire production chain, Fabbri carefully selects its raw materials and suppliers in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008, IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC (British Retail Consortium) standards.
