What if we forget for a moment everything we have learned during the past 50 years about publishing and editorial content delivery? What if we start from scratch, designing and creating a collaborative piece of art, intertwined into a contemporary emotional fiber that pops out of the traditional magazine category?{}Well, that’s our mission. To redefine the way a magazine is traditionally crafted, leaving behind the bidimensional world, to create valuable content that comes to live, regardless of the vehicle being used. We have adopted the verb “create” as a mantra, and developed a magazine around it.

barcode is a contemporary guide to the
best the world has to offer. A glimpse to what a perfect world could be and how to get it. We deliver valuable and entertaining information to a segment recently described as the “Alpha Thinkers. Individuals with high acquisitive power, unique taste, exclusive buying patterns and of course a degree of sophistication somewhat unusual. People that share a high sense of awareness concerning the latest trends in fashion, technology, design and lifestyles around them. The ultimate goal is to serve as an information bridge to our readers before they make regular buying decisions. While at the same time maintaining them informed about the latest market innovations concerning their urban needs. We consider ourselves as curators of trends
reader profile
barcode magazine readers are enthusiastic by nature. They are ardent followers of fashion, trends and fad. They are consumers who are ever ready to try out new brands and products. They generally hold very radical and liberal views. They are spontaneous people, and like to indulge themselves through exclusive buying patterns, usually comprising of designer brand names. Image therefore is important to them no as an expression of power or in materialistic terms, but as an expression of taste and sophistications. They are focused on meeting their needs and it is this ends that matter more than the means to arrive there.

editorialdesign profile
With more than 300 media and press contacts from around the world, barcode keeps an updated and growing database of resources, which supports the overall editorial goal. The reader is our first and foremost objective and we don’t rest until full quality content is delivered creatively. From architecture, design and technology, to leisure, gastronomy and nightlife, every issue is packed with valuable information around highend consumer needs and luxury. A casual, yet uniform tone and writing style, circumscribe barcode’s unique personality.
Design We take design seriously. It’s not only about celebrating the aesthetics of it, but also understanding how it relates to the human being. Our whole editorial mission is focused with that on mind. Fashion Fashion fuels our soul and we give this back to our readers, from Milan’s fashion week, to the new local raising star. We do our best to indulge our reader with the latest fashion trends. Architecture The architecture cult is how we call it. We go further into each project to understand the minds behind the creations and see the day-to-day adaptations into a modern world. Travel+Hotels Our readers travel with style, that’s why we don’t hesitate in hunting the best hotels and travel experiences around the world. Vehicles+Transportation From the latest automobile to the most exuberant personal jet, we cover the best highlights of the new market presentations all year around.
Lifestyle When it comes to living the life, barcode really shows off. Whether is a new Martini recipe or elephant polo, we only recommend the best. Luxury Discover the latest luxury watch collection or relax at the one of the top ten spas around the world. Luxury is not just another section in our magazine, its simply part of every other one. Clubs+Bars You will find in every issue a couple of pages presenting the trendiest and hottest nightclubs and bars from around the planet. We also like to do a little cocktail 101 on every issue. Technology+Gadgets Geek with style. This is not the ordinary PC article you would expect. Rather get to know the latest Virtu 10k cell phone, or perhaps Bang Olufsen recent speakers collection. If its hot and expensive, we will probably showcase it. Interiors Finally, the space where great design and superb architecture meet. Decoration, bathrooms, kitchens, furniture or simply an interiors fad, we manage to roam the best trends on every issue.
