This object functions as a vase. It is an element that is duplicated and simultaneously merged, creating a natural form. This vase presented an interesting problem. A cylinder was generated through the blown glass technique; and, still hot, it was cut with a pair of scissors in half without cutting the whole way. The two resulting pieces are joined in a tube. This implied going through the oven many times in order to maintain the fluid consistency of the material and achieve the complete union.
