We used a mix of natural marble stones and wood along with some silver-leafed ceilings to reflect the mood of the space and give it some rustic touches.
Artists were invited to propose some of their works on some of the feature walls in the apartment.
The client preferred the darker colour mood to be laid all over the apartment materials and furniture.
The layout of the apartment actually consisted of two individual units that had to be connected in order to create the spacious areas achieved. Some details had to remain as the authorities required the connection between modern design and the ancient era to remain.
Some furniture was designed by VUAD and tailored to fit the ambience of the overall apartment and all windows overlooking an internal courtyard were redesigned with artists in order to allow the light to come in yet prevent external views on the service areas.
