È questo ciò che la moda è oggi. Una notorietà che non dura più 15 minuti. Ma che rischia di esaurirsi in 15 secondi. Ed ecco che il valore dell’autenticità acquisisce un’importanza assoluta. Con stilisti e creativi che cercano rifugio nelle pieghe dell’io.

Vintage e heritage sono più importanti che mai.

E la materia, il tessuto, la pelle devono fare da contraltare a una dilagante sensazione di caducità.

ome è strutturato il rapporto tra Woolrich USA e Woolrich Europe?

Andrea Canè: Dopo una lunga storia di successi, la nostra partnership si intensifica: dalle prime vendite in Italia nel 1982, WP ha trasformato Woolrich John Rich & Bros in un player mondiale, presente in 45 Paesi e con un network di 17 store monomarca. Nel 1998 abbiamo lanciato in Italia collezioni complete per l’uomo, la donna e il bambino, per poi estendere la distribuzione all’Europa, l’Asia e il Nord America.

Joshua Rich: L’1 gennaio 2016 è stata creata la newco Woolrich Europe, responsabile dello stile di Woolrich JRB a livello globale. In ambito distributivo, Woolrich Europe si occupa di Europa, Giappone e Corea, mentre la società madre è responsabile per il Nord America. La nostra sinergia è forte. In 34 anni WP ha dimostrato un grande rispetto per l’integrità del marchio. Ci fidiamo pienamente di loro come miglior partner per la crescita mondiale e stiamo negoziando una joint venture per il mercato cinese.

Quali sono le principali traiettorie di crescita?

J.R.: I principali driver sono il network multibrand e lo sviluppo retail, con l’obiettivo di aumentare il numero dei monobrand da 17 a 80. Prevediamo opening a Parigi, Milano, Roma, Madrid, Oslo, Zurigo, Vienna, Mosca, San Pietroburgo, Chicago, Aspen, Seattle, Toronto e Vancouver.

A.C.: Accanto ai nuovi store ci saranno anche più shop-in-shop. In Giappone affiancheremo il nostro flagship a Tokio con altri 5 negozi e 25 corner, mentre in Corea aumenteremo il numero di shop-in-shop. Rafforzeremo inoltre nuove aree di prodotto e spingeremo le collezioni primavera-estate.

Quali sono i mercati chiave?

J.R.: In mercati maturi quali l’Italia, la Germania, la Svizzera e l’Olanda apriremo nuovi negozi e shop-in-shop. In mercati in espansione, come il Belgio, la Scandinavia, la Russia, la Francia e il Regno Unito, vogliamo

Il brand come si evolverà?

J.R.: Continueremo con l’approccio che abbiamo seguito fin dal 1830, nell’ottica di un marchio di outerwear contemporaneo e di ricerca, che crei vestiti confortevoli e protettivi, con uno stile semplice e senza tempo.

A.C.: Spingendo sullo sviluppo retail, la nostra brand strategy comporterà via via un concept più completo. Ciò comporta il lancio di nuovi tipi di outerwear e il rafforzamento della maglieria. A partire dalla primavera-estate 2017 ci saranno pre-collezioni sia per la primavera, sia per l’autunno, in modo da creare un flusso continuativo di merce nell’arco della stagione.

J.R.: Rimane importantissimo il coinvolgimento di grandi fotografi, anche in ambito digitale. L’obiettivo è un concept di lifestyle contemporaneo sia online, sia offline.

Andrea Canè: Our partnership is constantly intensifying: from the first sales in Italy in 1982, WP turned Woolrich John Rich & Bros into a global outerwear player, with a presence in 45 countries and a network of 17 monobrand stores. Full collections for men, women and children were launched in Italy in 1998, followed by distribution across Europe, Asia and North America.

Joshua Rich: As of January 1st 2016, the newco Woolrich Europe has

J.R.: Main drivers are the multibrand network and retail development. The plan is to grow from 17 stores to a total of 80. We foresee openings in major cities such as Paris, Milan, Rome, Madrid, Oslo, Zurich, Vienna, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Chicago, Aspen, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver.

A.C.: Along with new mono-brand stores, there will also be more shopin-shops. In Japan, the strategy is to support the current flagship in Tokyo with another 5 stores and 25 shop-in-shops. Meanwhile, in Korea we will multiply the shop-in-shops across the country. We will also strengthen new product areas and push spring-summer collections.

What are key markets you are planning to address?

J.R.: In mature markets such as Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Holland we will open new stores and shop-in-shops. In markets in expansion, such as Belgium, Scandinavia, Russia, France and the UK we are working to improve our wholesale presence, by positioning the product within the best multi-brand windows and opening select flagships. We definitely regard North America as our major opportunity for growth.

What aspects will you prioritize?

A.C.: In retail the priority is the presence in key European cities and the positioning of flagship stores in prime locations. In wholesale we will cultivate close partnerships and focus on dedicated Woolrich areas.

How do you see the brand evolving?

J.R.: We will bring forward the approach that the brand has had since it began in 1830: a contemporary and refined outdoor brand, that creates garments that provide comfort and protection in a simple and timeless style. We are committed to a statement that still rings true today, “garments with a purpose”.

A.C.: As we intensify retail development, branding is evolving from a focus on outerwear to a more complete concept. We are developing new types of outerwear and improving categories such as knitwear. Starting from spring-summer 2017 there will pre-spring and pre-fall collections to create a continuous flow of deliveries throughout the season.

J.R.: Authorial photography remains important, also in digital. The goal is to provide a contemporary lifestyle concept on and offline. ■ 10_02_2016

SEMPRE MENO SFILATA A Milano i grandi marchi, ma soprattutto i designer emergenti hanno sostituito (o almeno rinforzano) i classici fashion show con contenuti extra. «Dentro una performance l’abito diventa più reale», dice Gaia Trussardi. Per raccontare le collezioni ci vogliono modalità coinvolgenti, spendibili anche sui new media. «Un’atmosfera “chill- out” fa bene alla fashion week», è il parere dei titolari di showroom. Per la regista Olcese la rivoluzione è partita da Gucci: «Ora osare non fa paura» DI ANDREA BIGOZZI

Big brands, but especially newcomers designers replace (or reinforce) the classic catwalk with some “extras” like movies, live music and art exhibitions. «Within a performance the dress becomes more real», says Gaia Trussardi. To tell the story of the collections a new approach of comunication is needed, which considers also new media. «A “chill-out” atmosphere is good for the fashion week»: it is the opinion of the owners of the showrooms. n questa edizione di Milano Moda Uomo molti stilisti e case di moda hanno preso una decisione storica: arricchire o addiritura sostituire la classica sfilata con contenuti “extra”. Puntando oltre che sul prodotto anche sulla combinazione della moda con arte, musica e cinema. Perché si è capito che per superare la caduta d’interesse intorno alle collezioni maschili è necessario puntare su formule più moderne, trasformando sfilate e presentazioni in un “avvenimento”, per addetti ai lavori ma non solo. Questi “media” diventano efficaci strumenti promozionali anche per il consumatore finale, spendibili parallelmente sui giornali e social. Ecco così il “Buskers festival” alla Pinacoteca di Brera messo in scena da Trussardi, la performance del ballerino Sergei Polunin per Ports1961, gli short movie realizzati da Etro e Isaia, i riti sciamanici di Marcelo Burlon, la sfilata tra i binari di Damir Doma, l’art installation voluta da Maurizio Modica e Pierfrancesco Gigliotti per la linea Piermau. La lista potrebbe continuare, includendo le location utilizzate per i défilé, sempre più empatiche con lo spettatore. «Il prodotto, quando è contestualizzato all’interno di una performance emotiva e armoniosa con musica e arte, non può che diventare più reale e vicino alla gente», racconta Gaia Trussardi, direttore creativo della maison del Levriero e precisa: «La sfilata, specie per la donna, continua a mio avviso ad avere quell’elemento glamour di

Finora a sostenere la sfilata è stato il ritorno editoriale, ma l’affermazione dei social media sta cambiando le carte in tavola. «La moda ormai è un settore globale - osserva il designer Maurizio Modica - che parla a un pubblico variegato.

Quindi per presentare un progetto nuovo è necessario studiare una modalità inaspettata e coinvolgente e non basta la scelta di un tessuto speciale o la linea di un pantalone».

«Poi - aggiunge - le occasione commerciali dopo la sfilata non mancano e ormai i buyer si sono abituati a vedere gli abiti su Instagram». Anche chi resta convinto che la passerella sia il luogo ideale per far vivere una collezione si rende conto della necessità

Onore ai giovani, che hanno saputo osare di più: il marchio Sunnei, ad esempio, ha creato un evento divertente, con i modelli impegnati nel gioco delle sedie musicali.

Ha fatto parlare e anche chi non c’è stato ha avuto voglia di scoprire di cosa si tratta». Sulla stessa lunghezza d’onda il collega Riccardo Grassi, titolare della omonima showrom. Per Grassi i grandi avrebbero potuto osare di più: «Il menswear - dice - sta vivendo un momento “stabilmente annoiato”, quindi certi diversivi servono per tenere alta l’immagine del settore. I grandi nomi del formale dovrebbero darsi più da fare.

Alcuni di loro, invece di intercettare questa voglia di cambiamento, hanno pensato bene di iniziare a sfilare proprio in queste stagioni. Non credo sia ciò di cui ha bisogno il settore». Un settore, quello del menswear, che oltre al problema di come rappresentarsi al meglio vive anche quello della stagionalità.

«Ogni stagione - fa il punto Carla Sozzani, titolare di 10 Corso Como - ci si aspetta una rivoluzione dalle collezioni e questo evidentemente non è possibile, quindi tocca agli show mantenere un appeal intorno al marchio. Forse di questi tempi basterebbe una

FIRST ‘INSTAPIT’ FOR HILFIGER Tommy Hilfiger will host at its fall women’s fashion show in New York the first ever “InstaPit” for Instagram content creators.

The brand will create an exclusive space for Instagrammers to capture fall 2016 looks. This pit will complement the traditional photo pit occupied by photographers and agencies like Getty, Imaxtree, Stefano Guindani and Giovanni Giannoni. The InstaPit amuses the photographer Andrea Adriani of Imaxtree: «A funny idea that fills the media, but will not change the market». «If the Instagrammer will all be together - Giovanni Giannoni adds - all posts will be the same and the result will not be fun. Non deve essere il cliente finale a pagare gli show». Le case di moda, quindi, sono alle prese con dubbi e riflessioni. Avranno il coraggio di cambiare e rischiare anche con la donna, dove si concentrano i veri interessi del mercato? «Sono sicura di sì - assicura Alessandra Olcese - .

Per la prossima edizione della fashion week femminile ci sono in ballo molte novità di presentazione, e non parlo solo di location».

Più cauto Grassi: «Nelle collezioni donna c’è più prodotto da mostrare, quindi penso che la classica sfilata resisterà più a lungo, anche se pure in questo settore c’è bisogno di innovazione». Si sbilancia Modica: «Una strada di rinnovamento potrebbe essere rappresentata ben presto dalle sfilate uomo e donna insieme. Ma, in prospettiva, molti designer, specie giovani, potrebbero anche decidere di non sfilare del tutto».

MUSIC, FILM, ART, SOCIAL ON THE CATWALK During this Men’s Fashion Week, many Italian designers and fashion houses have put on fashion shows and presentations with such a strong visual and emotional impact (rather than simply relying on clothes, they have focused on the combination of fashion with art, music, food and cinema), that many journalists and foreign buyers have reportedly left Italy with the conviction that Milan Fashion Week, is really not long enough. It has finally been recognized that to overcome the waning interest in the men’s collections it is necessary to focus on more modern formulas, transforming fashion shows and presentations into an “event”, for industry professionals and others. Hence the “Buskers festival” at the Pinacoteca di Brera staged by Trussardi, the ballet dancer Sergei Polunin for Ports1961, the short films made by Etro and Isaia, the models on the platforms of Milan’s central station by Damir Doma, and the art installation choosed by Maurizio Modica and Pierfrancesco Gigliotti for the launch of the Piermau line. The list goes on, including

locations used for fashion shows in Milan, which are more emotive for the viewer. «The product, when it is contextualized in an emotional performance with music and art, becomes even more real and closer to people», says Gaia Trussardi, creative director of Trussardi. She clarifies that: «Fashion shows, especially for women, continue to provide an element of glamor that is still needed, but one can create something bordering on a performance». Up to now, advertising revenue kept the fashion shows alive, but the emergence of social media has brought about changes. «We have long underestimated the importance of emotional impact on the viewer, including industry professionals. Even a new brand has a greater chance of getting noticed if it comes up with a precise idea that it turns into an event, rather than another pair of black trousers» says Maurizio Modica. «It will create more business opportunities after the show, since buyers are now used to seeing clothes on Instagram». Even those who are convinced that the runway remains the perfect place to bring a collection to life recognize the need to introduce new elements. «The crisis- reflects the director Alessandra Olcese, who at the last fashion week, through her agency Ran-

how to best represent itself, an industry like men’s fashion experiences the problem of seasonality. «Every season - Carla Sozzani, owner of 10 Corso Como observes - we expect the collections to be a revolution and this is evidently not possible, so it is up to the productions to maintain the brand’s appeal. Perhaps these days it would be enough to have one huge fashion show each year. For the rest it might be sufficient to have more intimate events in showrooms». The Italian buyers’ message is clear: all this creativity on the runways has a “commercial” price to pay.

«Companies - Sozzani remarks - have to pay too much to set up these events, which has an impact on the final price of the clothes. But it shouldn’t be the end client who has to pay for the shows». The only certainty is that fashion houses are struggling with doubts and reflections. Will they have the courage to change and even take risks with women’s fashion, where the real market interests lie? «I’m confident that they will - says Alessandra Olcese. For the next edition of women’s fashion week, there will be many new developments when it comes to presentations and I’m not only talking about new locations». Riccardo Grassi is more cautious: «In the women’s collections, there are more products on show, so I think that the classic fashion show will endure longer, even if there is also a need for innovation in this sector». Maurizio Modica is wary: «One possible new direction could be men’s and women’s fashion shows taking place concurrently. Ultimately, though, many designers may decide to do away with fashion ■ shows altogether».

edizione di Milano Moda Uomo appena archiviata sarà ricordata anche per le ragazzine in delirio per i loro giovanissimi idoli. È accaduto in via San Barnaba, da Ralph Lauren, alla cui presentazione ha partecipato il modello americano 17enne Lucky Blue Smith: “occhi di ghiaccio” (questo il soprannome) ha dato appuntamento alle fan via Instagram. Più o meno la stessa scena il giorno dopo in viale Umbria per la sfilata di Calvin Klein: la strada è completamente bloccata per l’arrivo della star del web Cameron Dallas, idolo delle giovanissime per i video caricati su YouTube.

Anche in questo caso l’oggetto del desiderio ha caricato su Instagram (dove ha un profilo da nove milioni e mezzo di follower) una sua foto, annunciando la sua presenza all’evento milanese del brand americano. Al termine dello show Cameron Dallas è salito su un furgone dai vetri oscurati e si è recato al Park Hyatt Milan in pieno centro, dove ad attenderlo è stato ancora un bagno di folla di ragazzine urlanti, con gli smartphone pronti a immortalarlo. Scene che non si vedevano in città dai tempi dei Backstreet Boys. Ma come spiegare e interpretare il fenomeno? «Molti modelli o celebrity del cinema e dello sport vicini al mondo della moda, se invitati a una sfilata o a un evento, hanno un “pricing” basato anche sul loro essere digital influencer: ossia sul numero di follower che hanno sui social network e su come li usano», chiarisce Jarvis Macchi, digital director di Brooks England, già digital pr di Tod’s e autore del libro Lusso 2.0. Si tratta di una comunicazione “aggiuntiva”, di cui si deve tenere conto quando si stipulano contratti con le celebrity.

gio di questo tipo, si fa un piano di comunicazione completo - prosegue Macchi - in cui si considerano i media tradizionali, gli account del brand e gli account personali del soggetto: una strategia a tutto tondo per massimizzare gli effetti dell’iniziativa». Naturalmente come testimonial deve essere scelta la persona giusta, in termini di target di follower e valori di riferimento, comunicati quotidianamente anche con i post. Alessio Pozzi, il modello italiano del momento, i social li usa da circa tre anni, da prima che la sua carriera decollasse. «Il mio account su Instagram piano piano è cresciuto, arrivando a circa 73mila follower - racconta -. Tutti i brand hanno ormai un profilo su questo media e quando scattano una nuova campagna la pubblicano. Così si crea un passaparola mediatico e arrivano nuovi seguaci anche sul mio account. Però, per ora, non ho una strategia precisa: utilizzo il mezzo come un qualunque ragazzo della mia età».

Same scene at Calvin Klein, with Cameron Dallas who, thanks to YouTube, has become an idol, with nine and a half million followers on Instagram, where he announced his presence in Milan. At the end of the show, Cameron went to the Park Hyatt hotel on a van with tinted glasses, with screaming girls waiting for him also there.

How can we interpret this phenomenon? «Many celebrities with close links to fashion have a “pricing”, partly based on their digital influence» clarifies Jarvis Macchi, digital director at Brooks England, formerly digital PR at Tod’s and author of the book Lusso 2.0. «When a company hires someone like these guys, a communication plan is prepared - Macchi explains - considering traditional media, brand’s accounts, personal accounts: an all-round strategy». They have to choose the right testimonial, in terms of target followers and values, communicated daily through posts.

The Italian model Alessio Pozzi has used social media for about three years, since before his career took off. «My Instagram account has now 73,000 followers - he says -. All brands have a social media profile and publish an announcement when a campaign is launched, creating a media buzz and new followers for me. But for now I use social ■ media like any guy of my age».

a Pitti a Milano Moda Uomo: la settimana della moda maschile italiana per il prossimo autunno-inverno fa parlare di sé con toni più accesi del solito. Forte l’interesse suscitato nei buyer, a conferma dell’impegno di stilisti e aziende del made in Italy.

Ma non sono mancate le perplessità. D’altra parte il periodo è critico: tutti i compratori intervistati da Fashion si stanno muovendo con attenzione e non aumenteranno i propri budget, tranne che per nuove aperture. A Firenze, i retailer sono stati piacevolmente sorpresi dal grande afflusso di visitatori, «che ha trasmesso un contagioso messaggio di positività» conferma Bob Mitchell di Mitchells Stores a Westport negli Usa. «In un momento nel quale i gravi accadimenti internazionali e le loro ripercussioni commerciali rendono il futuro pieno di incognite - spiega Mitchell - vedere tanta gente significa che il business va avanti, indipendentemente da tutto». Della manifestazione fiorentina i retailer citano sia nomi chiave del made in Italy come Brunello Cucinelli, Cruciani, Lardini, che rappresentano sempre una certezza, sia alcune nuove proposte, per esempio il debutto del coreano Juun J.: «Una sfilata interessante, con idee e spunti da cogliere » commenta Marco Cateni di Divo a Santa Maria a Monte (Pi).

Sale affollate anche nella capitale della moda italiana, ma con una selezione tra i compratori: presenti i top buyer di tutto il mondo, a eccezione dei russi, pressoché scomparsi (il loro mercato è particolarmente in difficoltà a causa del rublo svalutato e del prezzo del petrolio in picchiata, vedi articolo a pagina 22) e con qualche defezione tra i cinesi della mainland e di Hong Kong - dove il business di moda è in fase di ridefinizione a causa delle conseguenze della politica anticorruzione adottata dal governo della Repubblica Popolare -. CHI SALE, CHI SCENDE E CHI DIVIDE A Milano l’attenzione dei buyer è stata catalizzata dalla sfilata Gucci di Alessandro Michele che, tra le reinterpretazioni vintage e la mescolanza di generi, sta influenzando, e non poco, le tendenze moda. lano. «Proposte all’insegna dell’essenzialità, interessanti, fresche, che raccoglieranno i consensi della nostra clientela» aggiunge Hirofumi Kurino, creative director di United Arrows a Tokyo. Critiche invece per Moncler: molti buyer non hanno approvato la scelta di presentare una sola fantasia mimetica, che ha ricordato troppo il terrorismo e i tragici eventi internazionali. Sul fronte tendenze, forte è l’ispirazione agli anni Settanta e all’English Beat per la prossima stagione fredda. «Il richiamo a Mick Jagger e ai Rolling Stone, insieme a un “pizzico” di David Bowie, ricordato negli anni di Ziggy Stardust - racconta Ken Downing - ha creato grandi emozioni, traducendosi in un’infinità di decorazioni, ornamenti e ricami». In primo piano anche i tessuti della tradizione inglese - dai check agli spigati e ai tweed -, con una palette di colori giocata sulle nuance dei marrone e dei grigi.

ATTENZIONE AI PREZZI, MA ANCHE AL PARALLELO In tema di best seller, Eric Jennings, fashion director di Saks Fifth Avenue, che tra le sue collezioni preferite segnala Prada, Fendi, Ermenegildo Zegna, Neil Barrett, Versace e Marcelo Burlon, suggerisce tre must: «Il cappotto, soprattutto d’ispirazione militare, magari con dettagli in pelliccia, andrà perché di moda, non certo per l’esigenza di coprirsi con un capo che tenga così caldo. Trendy anche le scarpe rifinite in pelo, così come sarà vincente lo zaino, ma in versione maxi». Secondo Damien Paul, head of menswear di Matchesfashion.com - le cui top collection sono Bottega Veneta, Gucci e Domir Doma - saranno “hot” i pantaloni a gamba larga, i rétro track top e i capispalla ampi, oltre ai cappotti-vestaglia, in special modo di Bottega Veneta e Marni. Fra outerwear da grande freddo, maglioni in lana grossa e pellicce à go-go, alcuni buyer fanno però notare che «in generale gli uomini, tantomeno i giovani, non amano vestirsi in modo così pesante».

Altre perplessità le ha suscitate l’eccesso di ricami, decori e, addirittura, applicazioni di Swarovski, espressione del più ampio filone agender: «In Medio Oriente gli uomini vogliono vestirsi in modo maschile e queste scelte stilistiche sono rischiose» commenta Waet Al Fatayri di BinHendi a Dubai.

D’idea opposta Kiyohiko Takada, fashion director di Isetan-Mitsukoshi a Tokyo: «La mescolanza di generi prenderà sempre più piede, al punto che noi stiamo aprendo store dove sperimentare nuove formule di merchandising mixando l’offerta uomo e donna». Altri buyer pongono l’attenzione sui prezzi sempre più cari delle collezioni.

«In India dobbiamo fare i conti anche con i dazi che fanno lievitare ulteriormente i cartellini, mentre gli uomini sono sempre più attenti a quanto spendono» sottolinea Julie Woodhead, buying director di The Collective a Bangalore, che tra i suoi show preferiti indica Giorgio Armani, Dsquared2 e Versace. Infine, c’è chi si lamenta dei multimarca (soprattutto italiani) che praticano il parallelo. «A causa dei problemi del mercato cinese, non più in grado di assorbire i quantitativi degli ultimi anni, i parallelisti cercano sbocchi anche nei mercati maturi - dichiara Luc Dheedene dello store Verso e della società di distribuzione FashionClub70 ad Anversa -. Se tutto ciò continua, sarò costretto a interrompere i rapporti con le aziende italiane che forniscono loro la merce. I brand francesi ci tutelano di più».

In the Italian fashion capital, halls are crowded with select buyers: the city is visited by top buyers from all over the world, except the Russians who have almost disappeared (their market is undergoing particular difficulties as a consequence of the depreciated rouble and the plunge in oil prices, see article on page 22), and some absences from the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, where the fashion business is being redefined as a result of the anti-corruption policy adopted by the government of the People’s Republic. Minor retailers are also largely absent, who, partly due to the expense, have evidently decided to skip the fashion shows and only come to the city to make orders.

BUYERS APPRECIATE FASHION, BUT BUDGETS ARE NOT INCREASING From Pitti to Milano Moda Uomo: the Italian men’s fashion week for the next autumnwinter is creating more buzz than usual. It has aroused considerable interest among buyers, a reaction that demonstrates the commitment of Italian designers and fashion companies.

But there have been some concerns. Moreover, it is a critical period: all the buyers interviewed by Fashion are acting with caution and do not intend to increase their budgets, except in the case of new openings. In Florence, retailers were pleasantly surprised by the large influx of visitors, “which has sent a contagious message of positivity,” says Bob Mitchell, of Mitchells Stores in Westport, USA. “At a time when major international events and their commercial repercussions fill the future with uncertainty,” Mitchell explains, “seeing so many people means that business keeps on going, no matter what.”

With regard to Pitti, retailers cite key names of made in Italy, such as Brunello Cucinelli, Cruciani and Lardini, as well as some new

The perhaps excessive expectations with regard to Michele initially divided the buyers: many were satisfied, but some were disappointed.

“I am obsessed with the eclectic, eccentric and romantic vision of Alessandro Michele,” comments Ken Downing, fashion director of Neiman Marcus, who includes Etro, Brioni and Brunello Cucinelli among his top collections. “Gucci demonstrates an undisputed ability to innovate, an approach that lies at the very heart of the brand,” says Mario Dell’Oglio, president of Camera Buyer and owner of Dell’Oglio in Palermo. “So many beautiful pieces to mix and match at will,” remarks Beppe Angiolini, of Sugar in Arezzo and honorary president of Camera Buyer.

The unhappy buyers - who preferred to remain anonymous - deemed Michele’s show excessive, too feminine and repetitive in comparison to the last fashion show. Certain collections were unreservedly acclaimed by buyers in Milan, including Prada, Fendi, Versace and Salvatore Ferragamo. Marcelo Burlon was number one for streetwear. Almost all the respondents liked Lucio Vanotti,

a guest of Giorgio Armani, who made his runway debut: “Bravo, a great collection,” declares Tiziana Cardini, fashion director of La Rinascente in Milan. “Interesting, fresh proposals with an eye to simplicity – they will meet the approval of our customers,” adds Hirofumi Kurino, creative director of United Arrows in Tokyo. Moncler, on the other hand, received criticism: many buyers did not approve of the decision to present a single camouflage design, which was too redolent of terrorism and tragic international events. A noticeable trend for the next cold season was seventies and English Beat inspiration. “Mick Jagger swagger added a Rock and Rolling Stones vibe, with a hint of David Bowie in his Ziggy Stardust years, that added great excitement, with the enormity of decorated, adorned, embroidered and embellishment” says Ken Downing. Fabrics from the English tradition were particularly prominent, from checks to herringbones and tweeds, with a range of colours that played on the shades of brown and grey.

WATCH OUT FOR THE PRICES AND THE GREY MARKET On the subject of bestsellers, Eric Jennings, fashion director of Saks Fifth Avenue, who lists Prada, Fendi, Ermenegildo Zegna, Neil Barrett, Versace and Marcelo Burlon among his favourite collections, points out three must-haves:“First of all coat, especially military-inspired coat, perhaps with fur details.

It will have to be a statement piece, though, because nobody’s looking for just to keep-mewarm outerwear. Moreover shoes finished with fur will also be trendy, along with the captivating maxi backpack.” According to Damien Paul, head of Matchesfashion.com menswear, whose top collections are Bottega Veneta, Gucci and Domir Doma – wide leg trousers, retro track tops and generous outerwear and slouchy robe-like coats are “hot”, especially those of Bottega Veneta and Marni.

Among cold-resistant outerwear, thick wool jumpers and go-go furs are in fashion, though some buyers observe that “men in general, but particularly young men, do not like dressing in such a heavy style.” There have been further concerns over the excessive use of embroidery, decorations and even Swarovski applications, a manifestation of the broader gender-blending trend: “In the Middle East, men want to dress in a masculine way and these stylistic choices are risky,” comments Waet Al Fatayri of BinHendi in Dubai. Finally, there are those who complain of multibrands (mainly Italian) involved in the grey market. “Due to problems with the Chinese market, which is no longer able to absorb the same quantity of merchandise that it has in recent years, brands involved in the grey market seek out opportunities in mature markets,” says Luc Dheedene, of the Verso store and distribution company FashionClub70 in Antwerp.

“If this continues, I will have to break off relations with Italian companies that provide merchandise. The French brands offer ■ us more protection.”

Usually, buyers make purchases of clothes and accessories with basic software or even paper order sheets. The new FABS -Fashion Buyer Society App provides a service that can be used directly on your smartphone, where buyers can see photos of their chosen garments, prices, details and quantity. Beppe Angiolini and Roberta Valentini, were among the first to test the App, which can be downloaded on iTunes, during an event at Men’s Fashion Week: “We will start using it,” said the owner of Penelope, “because it makes our work easier, saving us from calculation errors and providing real-time statistics”.

Qui la manifestazione di riferimento è Intertextile di Shanghai, al cui interno si tiene SalonEurope, con le collettive nazionali dal Vecchio Continente, tra cui Milano Unica Shanghai. Javits Convention Center, was severely hampered by the snowstorm that hit the East Coast of the United States over the very weekend of the trade fair. What a shame. The US is the leading market for Italian textiles and the general sentiment is that it is necessary to “attack it” - one way of doing so is through trade fairs. But the goal has simply been postponed: Milano Unica New York has already been confirmed for July. However, what most worries the new president of Milano Unica, Ercole Botto Poala, who replaced Silvio Albini as the head of the trade fair that represents Italy’s production, is Première Vision Paris’ decision to launch an “additional” fair, dedicated to the precollections, on 6 and 7 July, the same dates for which the organizers of Milano Unica were planning the second edition of Prima MU, the advance event, launched as an experiment last July. In occasione di Milano Unica New York, gli organizzatori della rassegna e il Council of Fashion Designers of America hanno presentato un’iniziativa comune: selezioneranno stilisti americani interessati a lavorare con produttori italiani di tessuti, al fine di creare materiali in esclusiva per le loro collezioni, e li aiuteranno in questo percorso. Il progetto è stato battezzato The Fabric Program e i primi frutti si vedranno nelle collezioni dei designer per la primavera-estate 2017. La ribalta di Pitti Uomo ha portato in primo piano, per l’autunno-inverno 2016/2017, un uomo attento alle nuove tecnologie, eppure attratto dalla tradizione. Il sartoriale mantiene il sapore di tempi passati, ma si attualizza nei fit e nelle vestibilità. Il futurismo rivive nelle grafiche decise di uno streetwear incline all’upgrading. La montagna guarda nostalgica allo stile rétro, ma non rinuncia alla tecnicità dei materiali antifreddo.

Presenze importanti in guardaroba, la pelle e la gomma scendono in campo filtrate da una creatività che supera i confini della performance.

Prevale il desiderio di abbandonare strutture troppo rigide, in nome di silhouette giocate sulle proporzioni e di pesantezze che virano verso il transeasonal. L’uomo cerca nuove identità, per soddisfare le richieste di un pubblico sempre più vasto ed eterogeneo. (c.me.)

The Fall 2016 collection, presented at Pitti Uomo, focuses on 13 garments, halfway between fashion and high tech, and two motorcycle helmets. The garments (field jackets, biker jackets and sweatshirts) were designed by Leonardo Fasolo, a designer who specializes in sportswear. Prices range from 290 to 900 euro.

For his Autumn-Winter 2016/2017 collection, the law graduate, who has had an active line since 2008 (under license by Andrea Monteverdi’s AM), focuses on a collection in which flows of colour impact each another, producing nuances and contrasts.

Soft yarns, such as bouclé and longhaired wool, create three-dimensional patterns and over-relief on Jersey wool sweaters. The tailored coats feature check designs. The bomber jackets and animal print knitwear are decorated with polka dots.

Le sue radici sono a Boston, in Massachusetts, dove negli anni ‘40, in un piccolo solaio, si producevano capi per la Marina statunitense. In oltre 70 anni di storia l’azienda è evoluta, portando il suo “American made outerwear” nei più importanti specialty store in Asia ed Europa.

Ora il fit è più fashionable, ma lo stile delle origini si trova nell’ispirazione, nei dettagli e nella qualità: i capi invernali sono in pregiata lana americana Melton.

Distributed by Artcrafts International, the navy brand Fidelity arrives in Italy. Its roots are in Boston, Massachusetts, where, in the ‘40s, garments were produced for the US Navy in a small attic. The company has evolved over its 70 years of history, bringing its “American made outerwear” to major specialty stores in Asia and Europe. The fit is now more fashionable, but the inspiration, details and quality of the original style remain: the winter garments are made from fine American Melton wool.

Ogni capo racconta una storia attraverso la foggia, il tessuto, il colore e i dettagli funzionali, che vengono “restaurati” e rivisitati da esperte mani artigiane. Scucite le pince dei pantaloni, rimodellati gamba e vita, aggiunto un elastico o una bottoniera alla caviglia: tutto il mood diventa più metropolitano. In dotazione un sacchetto con gli “scarti” di lavorazione: servirà per il nuovo restyling, quando il contemporaneo sarà diventato di nuovo d’antan.

Transforming vintage military garments into urban clothes to give «a modern vision of the past». This is the aim of Andrea Rosso with MYAR (an anagram of “ARMY”, while “MY AR” alludes to his initials). Every piece tells a story through its style, fabric, colour and functional details, which are “restored” and restyled by expert craftsmen. The darts of the trousers are unpicked, the legs and waist are reshaped, an elastic or a buttonhole is added to the ankle: this creates a more urban look. Garments are supplied with the “leftovers” from the tailoring: they can be used for the next restyling, when today’s contemporary style becomes passé.

Classe 1991, una laurea in Fashion Design al Politecnico di Milano, collaborazioni con i marchi Camille Tanoh e Pierre Hardy, il designer lancia il suo brand di calzature di alta gamma nel 2014. Nel 2015 è uno dei finalisti di Who is on Next? Uomo. La nuova collezione R.U.G.A. (Rough Unique Grandparents’ Art) nasce pensando agli anziani, «ai racconti dei nonni, che fanno parte del nostro patrimonio culturale». La pelle martellata ricorda le “rughe” dei loro volti, il velluto le atmosfere ovattate delle loro case, intrise di ricordi.

Irony, surprise, tradition and contamination are the guidelines for Marco Laganà’s creations. Born in 1991, the designer graduated in Fashion Design from the Politecnico di Milano and subsequently collaborated with the brands Camille Tanoh and Pierre Hardy, before launching his own brand of high-end shoes in 2014. In 2015 he was one of the finalists at Who is on Next? Uomo. The new collection, R.U.G.A. (Rough Unique Grandparents’ Art and a reference to the Italian word “ruga”, wrinkle), was designed with the elderly in mind, «the stories of grandparents, who are part of our cultural heritage». The textured leather reminds of the “wrinkles” on their faces, while velvet evokes the cosy atmosphere of their homes, full of memories.

«Avere tutto ciò che serve addosso»: è il principio ispiratore di Phine, l’inedito progetto al maschile ideato da Francesco Ciroldi per l’azienda di famiglia - la carpigiana Angela F. - che da quasi 20 anni produce maglieria per la donna. Nessun dettaglio è lasciato al caso: un cordoncino può servire per legare una bottiglietta d’acqua o una T-shirt di scorta. I tessuti sono performanti ma anche confortevoli. Del resto Phine vuole ricordare “I’m fine”, “Sto bene”, perfetta sintesi della filosofia del brand.

«Wearing everything you need»: this is the guideline of Phine, the innovative menswear project created by Francesco Ciroldi for his family company - Angela F., based in the Italian town of Carpi - which has produced women’s knitwear for nearly 20 years. o scorso 18 gennaio Adidas - numero due al mondo nello sportswear - ha ufficializzato l'arrivo di un manager Henkel, Kasper Rorsted, al vertice del gruppo. Prenderà il posto del 61enne Herbert Heiner, al timone dal 2001: il suo contratto sarebbe scaduto nel marzo 2017, ma pare che da tempo alcuni soci premessero per accelerare il cambio della guardia, motivati dalle scarse performance nel segmento golf e dalle delusioni in Russia. Per agevolare il passaggio di consegne, Hainer - che comunque ha portato il gruppo a triplicare le vendite e a incrementare il suo valore da 3 a 18 miliardi di euro - uscirà il 30 settembre 2016.

Rorsted sarà effettivo da agosto, come membro del cda, e dal primo ottobre come ceo. Di lui sappiamo che è danese, ha 53 anni, è sposato e padre di due figli e che è un «appassionato runner, oltre che un fan dello sci e del calcio», come racconta Igor Landau, presidente del supervisory board di Adidas. Da ragazzo ha anche fatto parte della nazionale giovanile danese di pallavolo. Aspetti del suo privato di non poco conto, che vanno a completare un corposo curriculum. Suo padre, shoe designer, è stato uno stimolo per lei. Cosa vi differenzia e cosa vi accomuna?

Mio padre è un grandissimo stimolo a migliorare, un vero artigiano in grado di creare una calzatura da zero, curando in prima persona tutte le fasi del processo di creazione. Nonostante i caratteri molto simili, ci differenzia il prodotto che abbiamo scelto per lanciare le nostre collezioni: lui ha puntato su un’offerta prettamente femminile, mentre io mi sono concentrato su una collezione maschile e sportiva.

Alberto Premi, shoe designer, tells about his projects. His collection of sneakers is gradually switching towards female proposals and will sooner or later broaden its horizons with a clothing line.

Dov’era a 18 anni e chi erano i suoi idoli?

Nessun idolo, pensavo a studiare e a capire cosa avrei dovuto fare in futuro per diventare qualcuno. Però la passione per le calzature mi appartiene dalla nascita, si è trasmessa in famiglia. Dopo aver terminato gli studi in ragioneria, ho intrapreso la strada nel mondo della moda con un corso di Fashion Design.

Dove ritiene di essere arrivato, a 23 anni?

Quando penserò di essere arrivato cambierò lavoro. L’emozione di avere la possibilità di scoprire qualcosa di sconosciuto è la passione che alimenta il mio lavoro.

Come e quando ha preso forma il progetto di calzature Alberto Premi?

Il progetto della prima collezione è nato quasi per gioco al termine del mio percorso formativo per la messa a punto della tesi di laurea. Dopo sei mesi presso l’azienda dove tuttora produco le mie calzature ho avuto modo di realizzare concretamente quelle che prima di allora erano soltanto idee. Ho deciso di partecipare al concorso, poi vinto, di Who is On Next? 2014. Oggi il sogno di tre anni fa è diventato la mia realtà.

La sua creatività si esprime nell’universo delle sneaker: come mai questo amore?

Essendo un grandissimo fan del mondo sportswear, ho deciso di focalizzarmi sul prodotto sneaker, affine al mio dinamismo e al mio mood sportivo.

Ora vorrei confrontarmi con nuove sfide: per la collezione estiva 2017 le principali novità che presenterò saranno calzature femminili con tacco e una parte dedicata a modelli informali per l’uomo.

L’obiettivo sarà infatti di differenziare in modo più visibile l’universo femminile e maschile, creando prodotti ad hoc e specializzandomi ancora di più nel mondo calzaturiero.

Pitti Uomo è stato il suo trampolino di lancio. Non è tentato da Milano?

Milano è la città della moda per eccellenza. Proprio in questa città, infatti, è situata la showroom che presenta le mie collezioni. Il futuro mi porterà sicuramente a pensare e valutare progetti nel capoluogo lombardo.

Come riesce a conciliare la creatività con le esigenze commerciali?

Penso sia necessario trovare il giusto compromesso tra un prodotto innovativo e un prodotto concreto, che sia poi vendibile ai buyer e proponibile dai negozi. Trovare il corretto equilibrio richiede esperienza e attenzione al mercato.

Qual è il suo sogno nel cassetto?

Il mio sogno è riuscire a far crescere sempre più il brand, soprattutto a livello internazionale, raggiungendo anche il mercato americano. Un altro obiettivo è ampliare la proposta di calzature uomo e donna con una linea di abbigliamento, settore che ho ampiamente studiato e nel quale penso di avere buone probabilità di riuscita.

Как строятся отношения между Woolrich USA и Woolrich Europe? Андреа Кане: Наше партнерство постоянно укрепляется благодаря продолжительному успеху марки: начиная с первых продаж в Италии в 1982 году, компания WP превратила Woolrich John Rich & Bros в глобального игрока на рынке верхней одежды с представительствами в 45 странах и сетью из 17 монобрендовых магазинов. В 1998 году в Италии были представлены полноценные коллекции мужской, женской и детской одежды, реализация которых затем началась в Европе, Азии и Северной Америке. Также в наших планах обеспечить присутствие в таких крупных городах, как Париж, Милан, Рим, Мадрид, Осло, Цюрих, Вена, Москва, Санкт-Петербург, Чикаго, Аспен, Сиэтл, Торонто и Ванкувер. А.К.: Наряду с новыми монобрендовыми магазинами мы также не обойдем своим

вниманием и мультибрендовые торговые площадки. В Японии наша стратегия заключается в том, чтобы поддержать нынешний флагманский магазин в Токио еще 5 монобрендовыми и 25 мультибрендовыми представительствами. А в Корее мы расширяем сеть мультибрендовых магазинов по всей стране. Мы также планируем развитие новых линеек продукции и продвижение весенне-летних коллекций. Какие рынки в ваших планах являются ключевыми? Дж.Р.: На зрелых рынках - в Италии, Германии, Швейцарии и Голландии - мы откроем новые моно - и мультибрендовые магазины. На рынках с большим потенциалом развития - в Бельгии, Скандинавии, России, Франции и Великобритании - мы работаем над расширением оптовой торговли, представляя товар на лучших мультибрендовых торговых площадках и открывая отдельные флагманские магазины. Северная Америка определенно является нашей главной возможностью дальнейшего роста. Какие аспекты для вас приоритетны? А.К.: В розничной торговле приоритетом является наше присутствие в ключевых европейских городах и наличие флагманских магазинов в наиболее выгодных с точки зрения местоположения торговых точках. В оптовой торговле мы будем развивать тесное партнерство и сосредоточимся на традиционных направлениях Woolrich. Как вы видите дальнейшее развитие бренда? Дж.Р.: Мы сконцентрируемся на подходе, который остается неизменным для бренда со дня основания в 1830 году: современный и элегантный бренд верхней одежды, сочетающей удобство и защиту в простом и неизменно актуальном стиле. Мы попрежнему остаемся верны своему лозунгу: «одежда со смыслом». А.К.: По мере укрепления розничной торговли бренд развивается, фокусируясь не только на верхней одежде, но и на более полноценных образах. Мы разрабатываем новые типы верхней одежды и совершенствуем такие категории, как, например, вязаные изделия. Начиная с сезона весналето 2017, мы будем представлять предвесенние и предосенние коллекции, чтобы создать постоянный поток товара в течение всего сезона. Дж.Р.: По-прежнему важным аспектом остается авторская фотосъемка коллекций, в том числе и цифровая. Наша цель - представить концепцию современного стиля жизни как онлайн, так и в реальной жизни. ■

Наконец-то не только новые дизайнеры, но и именитые марки заменяют (или, по крайней мере, дополняют) классические модные показы необычными формами презентации. «В рамках представления наряд становится реальнее», - говорит Гайя Труссарди. Нужно искать интересные способы представить коллекцию, используя новые мультимедийные возможности. По мнению руководителей выставочного салона, расслабленная атмосфера прекрасно подходит для недели моды. Многие итальянские стилисты и модные дома проявили смелость на этой неделе мужской моды, поскольку их показы и презентации произвели мощное визуальное и эмоциональное впечатление (сделав акцент не столько на одежде, сколько на единении моды с искусством, музыкой, гастрономией и кино). В результате многие иностранные журналисты и байеры покинули Италию с мыслью, что три с половиной дня Недели мужской моды в Милане - это слишком мало. Наконец стало ясно: чтобы возобновить ослабевший было интерес к мужским коллекциям, необходимо обратиться к более современным формулам, сделав показы и презентации важным событием мира моды как для сотрудников этой индустрии, так и для всех остальных. Так и появились «Фестиваль Баскерс» в пинакотеке Брера, организованный Trussardi, выступление танцовщика Сергея Полунина для Ports1961, короткометражные фильмы от Etro и Isaia, модели Damir Doma на центральном вокзале Милана, арт-инсталляция от Мауaрицио Модики и Пьерфранческо Джильотти для запуска линейки Piermau. Она уточняет: «На мой взгляд, показ мод по-прежнему должен хранить в себе элемент глянцевой роскоши, особенно для женских коллекций. Однако существует множество способов преобразить его, приблизив это событие к настоящему перформансу». До сегодняшнего дня освещение показов было прерогативой редакторов глянцевых изданий, однако развитие социальных сетей меняет правила игры. «Мы долгое время недооценивали важность эмоционального влияния на публику, включая сотрудников модной индустрии. Даже дебютирующая марка имеет больше шансов заявить о себе, если сформирует четкую идею и сделает свой показ запоминающимся событием, отказавшись действовать по шаблону». «К тому же, - добавляет Гайя, - после показов появляется множество коммерческих возможностей, и даже байеры привыкли просматривать наряды в Instagram». Новаторский импульс от Gucci: новые правила - более смелые идеи Даже те, кто убежден, что подиум остается идеальным местом для представления коллекции, признают необходимость инноваций. «Кризис, - рассуждает режиссер Алессандра Ольчезе, которая вместе со своей компанией Random Production работала на последней неделе моды над показами марок N°21, Msgm, Antonio Marras, Iceberg и Daks, - не только ограничил бюджет, но и установил железное правило: избегать риска. Но появился Алессандро Микеле, который вместе с Gucci совершил настоящий прорыв со своими неординарными коллекциями и пошел еще дальше, организовав показы на окраине города, в районе Скало Фарини. Сегодня в Милане все изменилось: мои клиенты прежде всего просят найти необычное место и рассказать о нем новую историю, отказавшись даже от подиума как такового. Пришла пора привнести в показы мод элемент творчества, который бы стал их достойным дополнением». Однако новую формулу - креативность, понимание публики и, естественно, коллекция - непросто реализовать: необходимо быть настоящим мастером брендинга, чтобы эта хрупкая структура не рухнула, ведь с ней как никогда просто оставить без внимания сам продукт.

«Я оценил это несколько расслабленное пространство, - комментирует Джакомо Пьяцца из 247showroom. - Оно помогает привлечь байеров и становится красноречивым ответом тем, кто утверждает, что мы слишком формальны. Истинная проблема кроется в том, что дерзают главным образом молодые дизайнеры: например, показ Sunnei, хоть и прошел одним из первых, запомнился как занимательное событие и заставил говорить о себе (пятеро моделей играли в игру со стульями «Скучно так сидеть», прим.ред.). Несомненно, даже тем, кто не присутствовал на показе, захочется узнать, что же там было». Риккардо Грасси, владелец одноименного выставочного салона, находится на одной волне с Пьяцца. Грасси также считает, что именитые марки могли бы осмелиться на большее, однако вместо этого на помощь пришло бунтарское настроение некоторых показов и презентаций других марок. «Также, - говорит он, - поскольку мужская одежда переживает момент «стабильной скуки», необходимы отвлекающие маневры, чтобы сохранить лицо всей отрасли. Я считаю, что именитые марки должны прикладывать больше усилий. Некоторые из них, вместо того, чтобы заразиться этой жаждой перемен, решили начать проводить показы уже в этих сезонах. Затраты на креативные шоу не должны существенно влиять на стоимость продукта В мужской моде существует не только проблема правильной презентации, но и проблема сезонности. «Каждый сезон, аргументирует Карла Соццани, глава 10 Corso Como, - люди ожидают от коллекций революции, что, естественно, невозможно. И поэтому модные дома обращаются к сценографии, локациям, постановке, чтобы сохранить ореол привлекательности вокруг своих марок. Возможно, сегодня было бы достаточно одного грандиозного показа в год, необходимого для брендов, которые хотят заявить о себе. Остальным же может быть достаточно показов для более узкой аудитории в небольших выставочных салонах». Идея итальянского байера ясна: буйствующая креативность на подиумах влечет расходы. «Чтобы воплотить эти шоу в реальность, - отмечает Соццани, - фирмам приходится нести немалые затраты, что в итоге приводит к росту стоимости одежды. Но шоу не должны оплачиваться за счет конечного покупателя». Точно можно сказать одно: сегодня модные дома ох-

вачены сомнениями и размышлениями. Осмелятся ли они меняться и рисковать и с женской одеждой, которая представляет для рынка гораздо больший интерес? «Я уверена, что осмелятся, - уверяет Алессандра Ольчезе. – На следующей неделе женской моды на кону стоит множество новинок в способах презентации, и я говорю не о локациях». Грасси же высказывается более сдержанно: «В женских коллекциях можно представить гораздо больше продуктов, и потому я считаю, что классическая структура показа там продержится дольше несмотря на то, что эта область также нуждается в инновациях». Модика и вовсе заявляет: «И мужские, и женские показы могли бы ступить на путь инноваций очень скоро. Однако в перспективе многие дизайнеры могут отказаться от проведения показов ■ в принципе». СЛОВО ПОКУПАТЕЛЯМ

ТОВАР ПО ВКУСУ, НО НЕ ПО КАРМАНУ Закупщики поддерживают проведение итальянской недели мужской моды несмотря на то, что из-за сложностей на рынке они не увеличивают свои бюджеты. Возникают трудности из-за завышенных цен, а также - из-за избытка предложений в стиле унисекс. Кризис способствует развитию параллельной торговли, и многих это не устраивает. От Pitti до Миланской недели мужской моды: итальянская неделя мужской моды на следующий осенне-зимний сезон заставила публику говорить о себе гораздо больше обычного. С одной стороны, усердная работа итальянских стилистов и производителей не осталась без пристального внимания со стороны покупателей. Однако при этом хватало и трудностей. Ведь с другой стороны, сегодняшняя ситуация - критическая: все закупщики, с которыми беседовали представители Fashion, действуют осторожно и выделяют дополнительные средства из бюджета только на новинки. Розничные торговцы были приятно удивлены большим количеством посетителей во Флоренции, «и это заразило всех положительным настроем», - говорит Боб Митчелл из Mitchells Stores, Вестпорт, США.

«Во времена, когда ужасные международные катастрофы и их экономические последствия делают будущее абсолютно непредсказуемым, - объясняет Митчелл, - такое количество людей говорит о том, что бизнес развивается несмотря ни на что». После флорентийских показов розничные торговцы обсуждают как именитых итальянских производителей, например Brunello Cucinelli, Cruciani и Lardini, ставших символами постоянства и надежности, так и новых дизайнеров, например, дебют корейской марки Juun J.: «Интересный показ со стоящими идеями и предложениями», - комментирует Марко Катени из Divo, Санта-Мария-аМонте (Пиза). «Pitti по-прежнему остается важным событием, поскольку на этой выставке под одной крышей собирается множество марок. Они предлагают новый взгляд на моду, который дополняет миланские презентации», - добавляет Виничо Раваньяни из Vinicio, Леньяно (Милан) и Арона (Новара). Столица итальянской моды также не может пожаловаться на нехватку посетителей, однако здесь

собрались более именитые закупщики: на показах присутствуют основные покупатели со всего мира, за исключением российских, которые практически исчезли (их рынок испытывает особые трудности из-за обесценивания рубля и падения цены на нефть, см. статью на 22 странице). Также в этом году прибыло меньше китайских представителей, как с материковой части страны, так и из Гонконга - из-за новой антикоррупционной политики, вступившей в силу в КНР, сфера моды переживает не лучшие времена. К тому же практически отсутствовали розничные торговцы меньшего калибра, которые, очевидно, решили пропустить показы - отчасти по финансовой причине - и прибыть в город непосредственно для оформления заказов. Успехи, промахи и сюрпризы Внимание покупателей в Милане привлек показ Gucci от Алессандро Микеле, который не только по-новому истолковывает винтажные мотивы и сочетает разные жанры, но и оказывает большое

влияние на модные тенденции в целом. В итоге ожидания (возможно, чрезмерные) от Микеле разделили покупателей на два лагеря: многие остались довольны, но некоторые, напротив, разочаровались. «Я просто одержим эклектичным, эксцентричным и романтичным видением Микеле», - комментирует Кен Доунинг, фэшн-директор Neiman Marcus, который также отметил коллекции Etro, Brioni и Brunello Cucinelli. «Gucci демонстрируют неоспоримую способность к инновациям - это у них в крови», - уточняет Марио Дел’Ольо, президент Итальянской палаты покупателей и глава Dell’Oglio, Палермо. «Множество прекрасных деталей, которые прекрасно сочетаются между собой», - заключает Беппе Анджолини, владелец Sugar в Ареццо и почетный президент Итальянской палаты покупателей. Лучио смотрит в самую суть вещей, и это именно то, что нужно нашим клиентам», - добавляет Хирофуми Курино, креативный директор United Arrows, Токио. А вот коллекцию Moncler раскритиковали многие покупатели, не одобрив выбор единственного камуфляжного мотива, который слишком ярко напомнил о терроризме и трагических международных происшествиях. Другие покупатели обращают внимание на растущую стоимость коллекций. «В Индии нам также приходится учитывать пошлины, из-за которых ценники взлетают до небес, да и мужчины обращают все больше внимания на то, сколько они тратят», - подчеркивает Джули Вудхед, директор по закупкам из The Collective, Бангалор, которой больше всего понравились показы Giorgio Armani, Dsquared2 и Versace. 23–26 февраля в российскую столицу вернется международная модная выставка CPM - Collection Première Moscow. Выставка, организованная немецкими специалистами из Igedo Company, проводится уже в 26-й раз, и в этот раз в ЦВК «Экспоцентр» прибудут такие международные марки, как Aigle, Angelo Nardelli,

Ateliers de la Maille, Braccialini, Ferrari Junior, Lagerfeld, La fabbrica del lino, LQ Fashion, Marc Cain, Mayoral, Minerva, Pretty One и Sarah Pacini, и это - далеко не все участники. Звездой церемонии открытия станет российский стилист Игорь Чапурин, который в 1999 году открыл свой первый бутик в Москве, а с 2008 года регулярно проводит показы в Париже. Его присутствие на церемонии открытия обеспечит активное освещение события в СМИ. Как и всегда, программа показов занимает особое место на CPM, и в этом году помимо марки Marc Cain на подиуме будут представлены коллекции CPM Selected и CPM Kids Show. Впервые в лучах софитов окажутся победители национального конкурса стилистов «Русский силуэт» (Анна Кручинкина и Анна Гасимова, Алена Силкина), а также коллекции, представленные на международном конкурсе «Адмиралтейская игла» в Санкт-Петербурге. Помимо этого на выставке дебютирует проект «Рукоделие в России», и в павильоне 8.2 можно будет оценить продукцию, изготовленную вручную. А в Тренд-лаунже того же павильона посетители смогут узнать все о трендах сезона осень-зима 2016/2017.

Russian Fashion Retail Forum - еще один «ингредиент» CPM. В этом сезоне внимание форума сосредоточено на детской моде, на тему которой будет проведен ряд конференций. Детской одежде посвящены и мероприятия BloggerWalks: пятеро известных модных блоггеров будут проводить экскурсии по разным павильонам для международных предпринимателей, работающих с продукцией для детей. К тому же, чтобы упростить посещение выставки, организаторы выделили для детской моды павильон 2.2. Общая площадь выставки СРМ составит 45 тысяч квадратных метров, на которых будут представлены 950 коллекций, разделенных на категории женской, мужской и детской одежды, CPM Premium и аксессуаров CPM Accessories. Их дополнит категория нижнего белья и одежды для купания Mode Lingerie & Swim Moscow под совместным руководством СРМ и Eurovet. Как и всегда, особое внимание уделено национальным павильонам, среди которых - немецкий, французский, итальянский (представлено 140 фирм под эгидой Emi), испанский и турецкий павильоны обещают быть самыми яркими и интересными. В сентябре выставку СРМ посетило 17 200 зрителей и около 300 представителей СМИ. Организаторы планируют преодолеть эту планку в феврале, отчасти - благодаря более «сильному» осенне-зимнему сезону. ■

The opening of the first Paco Rabanne boutique in Paris, in rue Cambon, was celebrated with a party in the store and with a private dinner to follow, at Le Grand Véfour restaurant. With an event in corso Vittorio Emanuele store in Milan, Max Mara launched Optiprism, limited edition of glasses created in partnership with the American artist Maya Hayuk. Present at the event, the artist introduced the painting inspired to the Prism, a detail of the eyewear collection. At a charity dinner at Villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta, Beatrice B presented a limited edition of T-shirts designed by Filippa Lagerbäck, in cooperation with the non-profit organization CBM Italy and the Lions Club Camposampiero, which will be auctioned. The proceeds will be used to restore sight to 300 African mothers.
