editor’s note Dreams do become realities! Time is so obviously accelerating and this does allow for more opportunity to manifest with a positive belief system miraculous happenings can certainly be drawn into existence We put our life and the business into boxes and shifted our reality, and I let go of a completely intimate and seemingly perfect space; It wasn’t what I thought I wanted, but it was what was happening because it felt so right… That’s all I knew. I aspire to Virginia Wolf’s iconic saying; “never ceasing to become,” which makes this job as both editor & creative director divinely unknowable; a blessing… The chemistry between fashion and art has grown out of mutual respect and admiration. The magic that happens between Bianka & I is a perfect example. The images in their story could hang in any art gallery. And hopefully will. Fashion photography is more desired than ever…. So far, the invitation to contribute to Fauve has been embraced by a wide range of community members, of all ages, as well as creatively & spiritually inclined people from other areas in Indonesia, and also people across the globe. The response to the latest issue was extremely positive & reassuring. People do want media that is uplifting, inspiring and graphically enhanced. Once again I want to extend my deepest gratitude to all the local advertisers who continue to support this publication and make it possible for you to find yourself Fauve... and to all the people who share their voices, thank you, the feedback continues to be great, people repeatedly say they “enjoy” when they read Fauve. Please do remember to shop locally, to eat healthy, to don’t fight and listen to each other and support our beautiful fashion community & other talented artists. Fauve will find it ways through the fringes, and beneath the surface—it will reach over the edge, always returning to the centre to stretch conceptualised boundaries and people’s awareness. Ordinary people, marginalised voices, centralised ideas and new ways of expression will all come together within the pages of Fauve, to deliver something new and fresh and sometimes, maybe something completely unexpected. To inspire & to be inspired! Julhenry

BY VICTORIA I met with Kiki, a woman with elegant walk, and a friendly smile that shows an easy-going personality. She is the person to go to when you need top models here on the island of Bali, she is the owner of So Wanted Agency. She spends most of her days on the phone and behind her computer, socializing, attending castings and photo shoots. She talks about her models with affection and confess.“It’s not all about the money, it is about caring too, I am very proud of my models and I try to be involved as much as possible,” How do you like your job? I love my job, it is perfect for me, I am a very social person so it allows me to always be in touch with people. It is very easy in a way but also very demanding. There are no office hours; people can call you at any time for emergency bookings, even on weekends. Personally I cannot really switch off every time I am out meeting people, I am considering new faces, evaluating if they could be potential models. I am hopeless. Would you say that models in So Wanted Agency are more than just models? Oh yes, they have so much more going on besides looking good, they are all incredibly talented. For example; Tarah design shoes, Vika design jewellery, Katie Stone is an actress and designer, Salvita is a painter, just to name a few. I think it’s a dimension they bring with them on photo shoots. It seems like you are very close to your models . I like to think that we are a bit like a family, of course it’s impossible to be close to every body, but I try to be their friend and some girls I have been representing since they were really young, we go way back. Knowing about your models personal life, travelling plan, break-ups, party plans, exams, allow you to represent them better because you have that bit of information that gives you a step ahead when you need to do a booking. Also you build a longer and more trustworthy relationship. What makes you a good agent? I think to be a good agent you need to have great communication skills and be something similar to a Public Relation. It is your responsibility as an agent to keep in touch with everybody and take every opportunity so that my models can be booked on regular basis. What is it that you look for in choosing models? Once a friend of mine said that open wide eyes and a triangle shaped face was the criteria of a true model. For me there is no specific type, of course you have to find people who look good in pictures, slim and sharp. But what I really pay attention to is a unique face and a great personality. I cannot work with pretentious models that act like divas.
In my agency we are more close to each other, we try to communicate a lot and be friends. They are not just a model or just the face of the agency. My models are not doing just work, I mean it’s more like a family and u don’t let your family down in any way. I’m lucky that Bali is a very small island and it’s more easy to manage everything here, I think if it was Milan or some other big city it would be more of a challenge to manage all the things that I can do here. Which are the most popular brands u work for? “So Wanted Agency has been working with almost every magazine in Indonesia, for example: Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, Maxim, Cosmo. Speaking about brands: Body and Soul, Bamboo Blonde and in Jakarta we have two major clients; Sophie Martin and Mata Hari. How did you start the agency? It’s funny to think that this career came to me by accident, I never even thought of having a model agency. I did bit of modelling a few years ago and I experienced that were not many honest people that I could trust. So I started to represent myself and my friend and realized that there was real business opportunity here. And so the agency was born. We started with three models and had a small contact list of photographers and clients. Looking back, it was a bit naive but it worked out for the best and now we have one of the best running agencies here in Bali. How did you come up with the name? Finding the name was one of the hardest things to do. At that time I was looking at famous agencies names and thought they were a little pretentious. What I wanted was more fun and a little borderline on naughty just like us. I liked the idea of “Wanted” like criminals but that alone was a little bit rough and I had to give it a twist to sound it more fashion and more feminine so I added “So- Wanted” I really like the name because it is catchy. What do you think of Fauve Magazine? It’s a great Idea: Fauve promotes Indonesia’s fashion industry on more global scale by being online. People from all over the world can see that we have something to offer here. I am a huge fan and I try to support as much as possible with models from the Agency. Our model Tarah was the first edition cover girl and other models like Simen, Claudia, Barbara, Salvita, Kristell, Cisco, Anya and Vika have all been featured in Fauve Magazine.
We at Fauve Magazine wishes So Wanted Agency all the best for the future. So Wanted Agency @ Facebook www.sowantedagency.com sowantedagency@gmail.com 15

The smile is the light of your face; it opens many doors and creates positive attitudes that will smooth your way to others. Smiling greatly improves your physical attractiveness and produces a devastating effect in the opposite sex ;)
SAGE: This is an herb with powerful disinfectants properties that activates blood circulation in you gums. You can use the infusion of the leaves boiled for 15 minutes or two drops of essential oil in a glass of water to rinse.
The smile helps your immune system; physical and mental suffering decreases. It helps your brain to produce more serotonin and endorphins, providing happiness.
CLOVE AND CINNAMON: The essential oils of these exotic plants are the most effective natural remedy for toothache or sore teeth. You use two drops (one for each plant) and with the help of a rod or finger scrub the teeth two or three times a day.
But who does not want to have a beautiful smile? To get a beautiful and healthy smile needs some care and continuous attention. For the teeth, we already know that brushing is essential after meals, at least during 3 minutes. Combine it with floss and a mouthwash to finish. Some natural tips are as simple as avoiding eating sweets and sugary drinks and eating a healthy diet rich in vegetables and fruits. If you would like to take care of your smile in a natural way, we can suggest you the following preparations: NATURAL TOOTHPASTE: Mix in half a glass warm water with a tablespoon of sea salt and fine green clay until you get a smooth paste. You can keep it in a sealed glass jar in the fridge and use it as toothpaste daily. To make it more disinfectant, you can make it with infusion of thyme or add 20 drops of Echinacea extract. 26
TEA TREE OIL: Ground antiseptic, healing and antibacterial, healing of sores, ulcers, boils and fungi in the oral mucosa. Cab be applied directly or as mouthwash one to three times a day using two drops of essential oil at a time. BLACK TEA: Also for mouth sores, boil some water in a bag of black tea, and when the water is warm, rinse your mouth with the liquid a few minutes. BLUEBERRIES: Chewing Blueberries helps fight the spread of germs and heal mouth. ROSEMARY: Pout dried rosemary in a pint of boiling water and let stand 10 minutes over low heat. Rinse your mouth for 5 minutes every 4 hours until the pain subsides and the swelling.
Although proper hygiene, we can suffer from bad breath, and you do not want to miss a long, juicy kiss, right? Here are some nature trails that would extend the duration of the kisses ;)
CINNAMON: Mix two tablespoons of cinnamon powder and some salt. Add water to the mixture until gets a smooth paste. Rub your teeth with it daily, and, gradually, you will see its effects in your smile.
MINT AND FENNEL: Gargle with peppermint and fennel to complement natural mouthwash
HORSETAIL: This herb is beneficial, especially for nicotine stains. We can rinse daily with its infusion to keep white teeth and nicotine stains away. Of course, ideally you should avoid caffeine and cigarettes.
CELERY: Chew raw celery to freshen breath MILK THISTLE: One of the most important herbal tonics for the liver, helps restore the bile production and digestion, helping to eliminate toxins from the body and digestive tract. MINT MOUTHWASH: 1/4 cup water in a bowl, add 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda. Mix and dissolve completely and add a drop of mint oil (peppermint). After washing, rinse thoroughly. And nothing better than a bright white smile. Some natural remedies that will help whiten your teeth: APPLE & CELERY: Eating apples or celery sticks green, caring your teeth and gums.
In addition, the intake of foods rich in fiber integral, and those involving a slow chewing, will keep your gums and teeth much whiter. Last but not least, it was time to your lips. Rub with a slice of AVOCAD, adding natural moisture and making them more attractive. And to smooth, cover with a thin layer of honey and leave on for 30 minutes. Remove with a good smacking of tongue! Lip prone to dry, we recommend rub with a soft brush to activate blood circulation and remove any dead cells. To restore the smoothness of your lips, you can make your own night mask, it is very easy : Olive oil + Honey / Mix the ingredients / Spread the mixture on your lips / Leave it all night / Rinse the next day Are you ready to receive many KISSES?
STRAWBERRIES: The strawberry pulp helps remove stains. Shreds some strawberries and extend the pulp with toothbrush from the gums to teeth gently. Rinse with warm water with a pinch of baking soda.

Ok so I was at the gym working off the five tonics I had with my vodka last night, and not only was I appalled by the lack of chic athletic clothing (so what, no one has seen Isabel Marant Spring RTW 2012? It must be in the discount bins by now!) but by the number of ladies sporting a spandex bulge. Less is more, less is more, ladies. My trainer Made is on strict instructions to only work out the middle and lower part of my body (I’m not into the whole Cameron Diaz vs. Jessica Biel bicep-off) so there I was, doing my 1000th squat of the day, when I saw the Japanese gym freak. I know you psycho monsters are here for some new gossip so I’m going to give you what you asked for- apparently she has been making love with a Jakarta pingping dancer. She was also seen at Hu’u Bar making out with her French girlfriend all night long- weird because they were hanging out with all the sexy male models from Jakarta, just staring at them. But as we all know- something just getting some attention can be better than sealing the deal. So then I left the gym, showered and headed to Essensuals salon to get a bob- long hair is kind of 2009 and I got this cut recently here (I know, I always fly home to LA to get my hair cut, lesson learned) and it totally reminded me of Jennifer Anniston. Ew! While I was sat in the chair at the salon, a customer seated beside me told me about a Ibu Sepatu who is having fun with a young Latino photographer - he had been getting a lot of jobs around town and we were wondering why - now we know! Of course, I went with my skinny Mongolian (my gay husband) for my S/S 2013 campaign- but you all can do whatever you want. Just don’t expect Vogue Australia to pick it up. So after I got my new hair DO I went to Biku for some no sugar no milk white tea with my girlfriends, and while I was driving around the back way (I got kicked out of a Ku De Ta party recently for slapping the owner- trust me though he deserved it) who did I see at the Junction restaurant but MILA KUNIS and ASHTON KUTCHER. I don’t know what to think… Ashton is a Peter Pan douchebag, but he is oh so hot, and Mila is one of
the most beautiful women on the planet, but she’s kind of a funny potato-ey shape since she has put on 5 kilos post Black Swan. You decide. Anyway, so not as good as that time Tyra showed up at Maria Magdalena or Sandra Bullock was seen hanging out poolside at the Anantara. Apparently Ashton and Mila stayed at the Amanusa in Nusa Dua. Whatever I’m way more interested in who Fa is dating next… So I arrived Biku and found a seat in the Garden with my two besties, who are totally a size 3 to my size 1. We were sipping water and lime and smelling the cakes wafting around (try it- it’s the Madonna desert method) and a Slamish girl just broke up with her boyfriend because she discovered he was fucking the wife of another friend! So not cool if that’s not the agreement. That’s like losing three-in-one. Oh well, she’ll always have her therapist/shaman/astrologer/ dietician. I also learned that a certain videomaker is breaking up with his girlfriend because she is a nymphomaniac. Has this ever happened before in the course of human history? I don’t know. My skinny Mongolian secret crush has his boyfriend over from Thailand here in Bali, and his boyfriend recently got a drug in his drink. Be careful ladies and gentlemen, this is happening more often here! So then we left Biku, went home and get our Louboutins to attend the sunset party at Cocoon, our friend owns the place so we get a table and free whatever. Cocoon is suppose to be elegant and luxurious so I don’t know how this woman got in, but here was this huge kitty woman, with huge fake breasts and a provocative outfit straight from a porn movie. I mean, she was a tacky, cheap bimbo in leopard print swimwear with high heels and VISIBLE HAIR EXTENSIONS at the splash party. She was probably hired by the venue to make a sensation… and she did. And I’m never going back. That’s all for this month… I have a few other juicy tidbits about my friends, but a lady never reveals her sources or compromises her friends. You’ll have to wait until next month. Love you! xXx shanti.says@gmail.com

SALVITA DE CORTE One city. One woman. One shared experience.
Photo Š Ade Adinata
by Katie
On a recent photoshoot in Jakarta, I decided upon an impromptu interview with the lovely and beguiling artist Salvita. I was immediately drawn to her by her humble attitude towards people, places and things. Most especially desirable was her kind nature that went beyond any expectations I might have had of who she might be. What happened was a totally unexpected friendship in an unexpected place. A kindred spirit to my own and I would guess to many. Salvita is first and foremost an artist. She has an artist’s soul you can be witness to. I found a woman whose creativity extended into a new realm of possibility. Into an area where we are given the freedom to express who we are is the highest ideal. Salvita, it became obvious, didn’t just create art but lives her art as well, as one experience. I’ve always been intrigued by the idea of getting to know oneself more intimately, looking it as a way of falling in love with oneself...imagine you are in a passionate love relationship with Salvita. How would you describe who you are in these terms? I believe that we should all learn to love ourselves. It enables us to understand how to love someone else. “The most you love yourself, the most you will end up loving the others”. Well, what I love about Salvita is her strong mind, people critism doesn’t influence her so easily and she understands that people have their own thoughts and perceptions on things. She’s quiet and private, this comes across the wrong way a lot of the times haha, but once you get to know her she’s silly and loves to laugh. People know you as this wonderfully delicious character in images, your versatility in modeling has always led me to ideas of what you might be like as a person...can you tell me something people wouldn’t suspect about you or would be surprised by? Well, as a model there are always different character you are expected to portray in a picture. I guess some people would think that as a model I would be less shy in person and more open to people I don’t know but I’m actually pretty reserved and private, once I get to someone however (after a day or two or a couple of drinks hahaha) I loosen up quite a bit :) Few people may know this, but you are an artist, a painter, what is it that motivates you to paint? People, My environment, Emotions, Feelings. The idea of creating something and expressing emotions through art :) I can’t think of any better outlet, for me, to express my feelings. How would you describe your painting style? I paint a lot of portraits. A lot of the women in my paintings look sad and seductive in a way. Right now I’m still in that stage where I’m experimenting with styles and different mediums. When did you first realize you wanted to paint? Is it something you always did as a child? I grew up with both of my parents being very creative people. My dad was a painter and my mum does almost everything in the art department. So I was always
surrounded by art. I’ve always loved to paint, I remember my mum dedicating a huge wall to my scribbles and drawings when I was small. I loved it! For some reason when I was in school I always thought I was really bad at it, it wasn’t until after high school where I felt free to create anything I wanted, and that freedom has actually taught me a lot about my own capabilities in terms of painting. What are some of the biggest challenges for you when it comes to your art? I think that you can’t really judge art, like beauty is in the eye of the beholder but when it comes to my own paintings sometimes I catch myself criticizing and judging my work and I become overly “worried” about other peoples view on it. So I’ve been trying to not think about it as much and not worrying about what people might think of it. I have a similar feeling when it comes to anything creative. Not allowing the internal “editor” to step in and take over a process that can only work and function as a free flow. Any up and coming exhibitions? I just did an exhibit in Jakarta at Dia.Lo.Gue for a Volcom and SOS charity event to raise awareness, through art, of the endangerment of Orangutans in Sumatra. It was great event and it really taught me a lot in terms of the endangerment and also my own art. My next exhibit will be for the opening of Swoon gallery in Sanur mid. September. The theme is “Wanita/Women”. I am very excited about this exhibit :) and have been working on it here in Jakarta. Five words or less to describe your self. Haha I’m not fond of this one … hmmm 5 words? Organic, indecisive, humble, shy, creative, oh and a hopeless dancer apparently! I’m excited to see your newest exhibition. I kind of got the inside scoop which is only generating more interest! Hope you find all the inspiration in Jakarta.

karma KONVERSATIONS “Why it’s so hard to be good.”
by SWATHIMAA
Welcome. We haven’t met, I know, but I’m feeling it’s time to start a conversation. The general context is spirituality but we need an angle that makes sense. Since we’re living, loving, breathing, bathing, bleeding, shopping, singing, sobbing, and seeking better, best, and more in this world we live in, we ought to talk in terms of “karma”, don’t you think? We’ll be stoking the flames every month. I’ll go first.
“Karma” and “yoga” are probably the two most coopted terms from Sanskrit, the “original” language of spirituality. Yoga is a subject for another time. Today, we’re talking karma. Good or bad, Fate never sucks. More often than not, though, it certainly seems like it blows…like the wind, actually…but, whether we like it or not, there’s definitely something to the whole cause-and-effect thing that seems to apply. Still, these days, most of us are prone to take the Fate-Destiny-Karma conundrum as Tall Tales, ancient mythology, or Old Wives Tales (clearly, women have always been brilliant). But, that’s because the mechanics and the deeper implications are yet to be understood and applied. Once you know them and apply them, the world you live in—the one you take great pains to create for yourself — takes on an entirely new fragrance.
Karma, the integral mechanism of the universal science of spirituality, encompasses more than just natural phenomenon. It takes into account both the gross and the obvious (the natural) and the subtle, the not-so-obvious (the super-natural), and their interactions. It’s the interactions that are key. These are channels we can utilize for our own benefit and for the greater good… or not. Once we understand and know how to apply the mechanics, the choice is ours. Until then, how can it be more than a crap-shoot? 46
My teacher, Sri Kaleshwar, one of India’s most extraordinary saints, if I do say so myself, defines karma this way, “The reaction to the action that we’ve created through the illusion that is covering us”. Therefore, karma has 3 parts and they manifest in 2 ways: 1. the action that you create 2. some reaction to it 3. your own “illusion” / personal perspective is the context 4. your action inspires and attracts a reaction that comes to you via Nature, which itself is an illusion, called “Maya”, that ‘plays’ on you with or without your notice 5. in return, you act and react to the Maya, which keeps the cycle going If you look little closely, you will see a really positive point in this: the cycle of karma is a relationship you’ve set in motion, which means you actually have great authority in all this. So, then why is it so hard to consistently feel, be, and do good? It’s the Nature. The times we live in are wildly unpredictable. You don’t have to go looking for negativity; it’ll find you no matter where you go, no matter where you are. The bubble you live in — your own “illusion” — is easily accessible by everyone & everything else. Such is the power and influence of great negativity. These are remarkably reactionary times. “Instant karma” is one of its natural characteristics. The turn-around time of karma is virtually immediate. So, what do we see: relationships come and go very quickly; it’s the same with money, health, success, and fame, etc. etc.. How often does it happen that a simple, casual negative comment arouses a violent response? And, it doesn’t stop there. One minute, day, month, we’re happy. Then, with or without our notice, we turn around and suddenly get slapped. One day, we’re successful. Then, a new morning comes and we wake up with cancer. Glowing love soon turns into perpetual heartbreak. The list is seemingly endless. We’re tossed, punched, ground down and it usually comes to us like a big efing surprise and we just don’t get it.
Still…yes, ABSOLUTELY YES!!…we have the authority to change this. That’s the deal, our deal with the Divine.
Why do we call it “the Divine”? It’s not because we have no explanation. And, it’s not because we hope or fear or imagine that there’s something greater “out there” that’ll take care of it for us if we just say, “PLEASE!!” enough times. According to the great spiritual masters, it’s because we actually have a direct experiential relationship with the source of The Illusion and the experience of it is divine. “How to” is a topic for later. For now, we’re still talking karma. According to ancient scriptures, our world moves through epic time cycles, much like the four seasons. Each cycle is home to a time-specific, energetic climate. Today, we’re in the last stretches of the energetic ‘Winter’, referred to as the ‘Kali’ Yuga (Dark Age). As the name suggests, this is an Age of pre-dominant Negativity. In spiritual terms, the world is 80+% negativity, which leaves a trifle (less than) 20% of positive vibes. It’s no wonder happiness is so fleeting and hard to come by and hold onto! No wonder upholding a positive attitude of generosity and grace without getting bogged down by trials and tribulations, is, at best, an uphill battle. But, here’s a little secret about “Negativity” — okay, its the BIG secret — Negativity is selfishness. The more your thoughts and actions are about “what’s in it for me”, the more negativity you attract back to you. The more you think, feel, and act on contributing to another’s happiness, the greater positivity you attract. And, the coolest thing about this is, if you practice it enough, you change your perspective— the bubble that is your own personal ‘illusion’— you’ll become a beacon of positive light in the darkness, which will not only turn the tide of nature for yourself, it’ll turn the tide for the world. be good,

by YONI Parisian girl Stephanie Billicz never thought to make modeling her full time profession but due to her marriage to a trainer of pro snowboarders which made her travel a lot, she decided to spend her time more useful instead of staying at home. I had the pleasure of meeting this incredible and beautiful woman and this is what transpired.
When did you start modeling? I started modeling when I was 12 years old, I never thought I could make it my job and just did it to make some money during my study. I studied Communications and graduated third in my class, after I finished my study I got a good job offer but I knew quickly that this wasn’t for me. I don’t want to be stuck behind the desk until I am 60 years old. There is so much to discover and I like to move around and not be in one place all the time. So what made you decide to make it a full time job? My husband travels a lot as he is a trainer for professional snowboarders, I didn’t want to stay home alone. As a model you also travel a lot so we try to combine both as best as possible. Since I was young I love to travel and as a model you have the opportunity to do so. At first I never thought I was special enough as I saw so many pretty girls around me so it surprised me that I got booked quite often. I have agencies all over the world, in almost every big city in Europe, Asia and Cape Town. Which destination I decide to go, I look for an agency myself. I feel very blessed as I can now travel, work and be with husband at the same time. What is it that you like the most about modeling and what is it that you like less? Besides the traveling, I like modeling because it is always different. One day I am shooting on a big yacht in Nice and the next day I am filming for a car brand in Barcelona or do catwalks in Paris. The downfall is that I see girls falling for temptation to be more an escort than a model and some girls restrict themselves too much
on food and starve themselves to be skinny. You need to have a good support system behind you that is not involved in this world. I always say, please don’t destroy your body for a job that you can only do for a certain period of time. What misconception do people have of modeling? Modeling is not only for pretty skinny people and people think that we have sex with photographers and do drugs all the time. During my time of modeling I met incredible intelligent ‘normal’ people. When I am not working, I don’t wear make-up or designer clothes, I wear jeans and a t-shirt. You need to keep your feet on the ground because as I mentioned earlier, you never know when it stops. What is your opinion about FAUVE Magazine? Online magazines are great, these days we all have a smart phone or an Ipad. It’s eco friendly as there is no use of paper and the quality of pictures online are better. Julhenry is very creative and his magazine is about fashion but at the same time you get tips about Indonesia. If you could describe yourself in 5 words, which words would it be? Objective, Natural, Open Minded, Stressed and Impulsive. The last two I am working on it with yoga and trying to live in the Buddhist way. Greatful in what I have and live in the moment and not in the past.

ARIES With so much on the go, your fashion choices not only need to be easy and uncomplicated, they need to work for you. You have too much on the go in your life at the moment to be a slave to fashion, with a need to make the choices that will make life easier, not harder. This means avoiding fashion emergencies by getting organized ahead of time, with some smart forward planning.
LIBRA With the tailwind from a New Moon, the Sun’s last full day in your career sector is all about making a commitment to the future and drawing a line in the sand. Yet this year that line isn’t as clear-cut as it usually is and with Venus not returning to your career sector until early next month, your professional desires haven’t even kicked in. Make a commitment to moving forward, while continuing to keep your options open.
TAURUS As the Sun spends his last full day in your home and family sector there isn’t the urgency that you would expect and even though you’ll be on your own from tomorrow, there is a sense that it’s okay to leave things up in the air. Part of this is coming from the fact that playful and romantic vibes are also encouraging you out to play, but also because when it comes to home and family matters, your heart has yet to fully engage.
SCORPIO Having the Moon in your career sector a day before the Sun is due to arrive is sharpening your professional instincts, ensuring that you’ll hit the ground running. But this may also create complications, for this is the Sun’s last full day in your sector of travel, adventure, learning and discovery, a day when embracing a sense of adventure and staying in the moment is a must. Find a way to do both, listening to your professional instincts while embracing a sense of adventure.
GEMINI In his last full day in your income sector the Sun is asking you to keep your eyes open and your head out of the sand. This means making it less about the money and more about the expectations that define what you will and won’t accept, not only on the income front but across all the currencies in your life. This is a day for choosing to believe in you and for looking honestly at the reasons why you haven’t been. It’s time to take your power back.
SAGITTARIUS Make the most of the Sun’s last full day in your financial sector by keeping your eyes open and your head out of the sand, while at the same time seeing beyond the money to what this represents. It helps that you have the Moon in an adventurous part of your chart and that Mercury is already opening your mind, for it saves you from adopting tunnel vision. On a day for defining your financial priorities focus less on the money and more on the big picture.
CANCER On the last full day of your birthday month there is a need to embrace a sense of confidence in the future, even if you don’t feel completely confident yourself. This is less to do with what the future might or might not hold and more to do with the fact that with Venus not returning to your sign until early next month, you’re not sure what you want. Until then fake it till you make it, trusting in what the future holds.
CAPRICORN Just as the Sun is spending his last full day in your relationship sector, ahead of his return to your financial sector tomorrow, the Moon has already jumped the gun. The Moon is already in your financial sector, sharpening your financial instincts and giving you a chance to get the ball rolling, on what is an important day for putting relationship matters first. Try and do both, but if you can’t then put your relationships first.
LEO This month is the last full month of your current solar year and with that comes a need to stay in the moment. While you have your hand on the door handle, ready to open the door to a new solar year, there is also a chance for a pregnant pause, as you take one last look back over your shoulder, saying your goodbyes to the last 12 months and the journey it’s taken you on. With the Moon in your sign you have an intuitive read on where you’ve been and where you’re going.
AQUARIUS At the same time that the Sun is spending his last full day in your work sector and on a day when you should have your work hat on, the Moon has already moved onto your relationship sector, ahead of the Sun. Both the Sun and Moon have legitimate reasons why you should focus on them and their cause, but in reality your attention needs to be split. This is a day for keeping your eyes open on the work front, but also for making your relationships a priority.
VIRGO Knowing that from tomorrow he’ll begin the month long wind down of your current solar year, which will require more time out behind the scenes and more time for reflection, the Sun is urging you to make the most of his last full day in your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking. This makes this a day for remaining plugged in and for being a team player, even if you’re probably hanging out for some quality time out.
PISCES If you’re ever going to master the balance between work and play then this month is the month you’re going to do it, with the Sun and Moon working with you to achieve that balance. With the Sun in a romantic and playful part of your chart and the Moon in your work sector, if you can’t find a balance when the largest objects in the heavens are helping you, then how are you going to manage when the Sun teams up with the Moon and Mercury in your work sector next month? 87
