Construction of the back of the digipak

INITIAL CONSTRUCTION OF THE BACK OF THE DIGIPAK

This is the front cover of my digipak. I have made Siobhan look strong and independent for female empowerment, as I also want her to be the main focus of the page. I have only got to add on text for the name of the album and then this image is finished. I want to carry through a colour scheme of pink, red & purple within my ancillary products.

Opposite is the example of the text I designed myself. I want to experiment with including it within this design. Below is my initial designs for the back panel of my digipak. I like how I have placed all the songs in the same block but in different size fonts, as they are still easy to read. I have also played around with colour behind the text, but I want to follow my design by making the whole back panel one colour so that the font is easy to read for the viewer.

Again I wanted to use my kaleidoscope effect as a background here to tie all the other images together. I have had to edit the brightness and saturation of the image so that the text stands out easily. I also added a ‘multiply’ effect to the font so that you can see some of the background through the text.

Above are my first designs for my front cover and back cover. I have also provisionally placed a barcode in the corner to see what it may look like. I have also designed my left inside panel. Again, I have used the kaleidoscope effect, but I have made it pink on ‘Pic Monkey’, but using one of the pinks found in the main image of Siobhan on the front. I may put some text on this panel, but I will do that in further experimentation.
