The first round of the 2022 Trial European Championship took place on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May in Pobladura de la Regueras, Spain. A sunny day of spring welcomed all the riders for a high technical level racetrack. In the main category Marco Mempor won with a clear domination. Behind him great battle for the podium with Jarand-Matias Vold Gunvaldsen and Harry Hemingway to gain it. In the Trial Over 40 Cup great fight for the victory between Dan Clark and Sergio Puyo: the English rider prevailed over the Spanish for just one point. Third position for Marcus Kipp. Domination for George Hemingway in the Youth Cup. Second position for Xurxo Neo and third for Johannes Heidel.
The French Naomi Monnier won the Women EC, while at the end of a head-to-head Alicia Robinson was second and Kaytlyn Adshead third. The young rider Milozs Zyznowski won the Junior Cup ahead of Alex Overby and Sander Bjoraa.
