The Find Manningham is a community paper that aims to support all things Manningham. We want to provide a place where all Not-For-Profits (NFP), schools, sporting groups and other like organisations can share their news in one place. For instance, submitting up-andcoming events in the Find Manningham for Free. We do not proclaim to be another newspaper and we will not be aiming to compete with other news outlets. You can obtain your news from other sources. We feel you get enough of this already. We will keep our news topics to a minimum and only provide what we feel is most relevant topics to you each month. We invite local council and the current council members to participate by submitting information each month so as to keep us informed of any changes that may be of relevance to us, their local constituents.
We will also try and showcase different organisations throughout the year so you, the reader, can learn more about what is on offer in your local area. Manningham had a population of approximately 125,508 as at the 2018 Report which includes 27,500 business and close to 45,355 households. The Doncaster and Templestowe Council administered the area until December 15, 1994.

New Tougher Testing Measures For Those Seeking A Home Loan By Warren Strybosch
If you thought, it was hard to obtain a home loan then it is now only going to get tougher. The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA), that supervises institutions like banks, has come out and stated that banks must increase the minimum interest test buffer when assessing home loan affordability/ serviceability. In a letter to authorised deposit-taking institutions, APRA has told lenders it expects they will assess new borrowers’ ability to meet their loan repayments at an interest rate that is at least 3.0 percentage points above the loan product rate. This compares to a buffer of 2.5 percentage points that is commonly used by ADIs today. APRA’s decision, which reflects growing financial stability risks from ADIs’ residential mortgage lending, is supported by other members of the Council of Financial Regulators, comprising the Reserve Bank of Australia, the Treasury and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

Australia’s competition watchdog says it needs new powers to curb Google’s dominance in advertising technology that sells ads for sites such as YouTube. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission on Tuesday published the findings of an inquiry into advertising technology and claims publishers, advertisers and consumers are disadvantaged. The search giant prevents rival ad technology services holding the millisecond auctions which determine the ads served on Google’s YouTube. ACCC chair Rod Sims said a lack of competition meant higher advertising fees. This ultimately meant consumers would pay more for advertised goods, he said. A spokesman for Google said its ad technology services helped publishers fund their work and enabled small business to reach customers. These technology services supported more than 15,000 jobs, he said. The ACCC said its current powers were not enough to address the imbalance in the industry. It wants to ensure rival ad technology providers can compete. The watchdog also wants Google to tell publishers the outcomes of its ad server auctions.
The search giant would also be asked to show how the consumer data it collects benefit its ad technology services. This data is collected from search, maps and YouTube. Google has previously told the regulator its ad technology makes limited use of consumer data when bidding for ads on third-party websites. Ads are not personalised using consumer data from Google’s email, translation, data storage or photos services, the company says. The ACCC report is focused on display advertising, which includes pop-ups and banners and videos, rather than search. The findings of the report will inform a broader ACCC one on digital platforms, due next year.

Cyber Security Attacks On The Rise: Report By Andrew Brown

A cyber security threat was reported to the national watchdog once every eight minutes in the past financial year, with large numbers of cybercrimes driven by the pandemic. The Australian Cyber Security Centre’s latest Annual Cyber Threat Report revealed more than 67,500 cybercrimes were reported in the 2020-21 financial year, an increase of 13 per cent from the year before. Losses from cybercrimes totalled more than $33 billion during the 12-month period. The report found cyber criminals exploited the COVID situation in Australia, with more than 18,000 cybercrimes related to the pandemic. About one-quarter of all cyber security incidents affected critical infrastructure such as health, education and transport, while 35 per cent of incidents affected governments at all three levels.
The centre said ransomware remained one of the most serious types of cyber threat, which increased by almost 15 per cent in the past financial year. In one incident, a ransomware attack at a major Melbourne health network in March this year forced some elective surgeries to be postponed. The report said a large number of the cyber attacks were carried out either by state-based actors or by criminals. “No sector of the Australian economy was immune from the impacts of cyber crime and other malicious activity,” the report said. “Government agencies at all levels, large organisations, critical infrastructure providers, small to medium enterprises, families and individuals were all targeted over the reporting period.” The compromising of business emails resulted in the average loss of more than $50,600 per business, more than oneand-a-half times higher than the previous financial year.
While a large number of cyber attacks targeted Australians during the early stages of the pandemic with more people working from home or connecting with family and friends virtually, it’s expected COVID-related cyber threats will continue as restrictions and lockdowns ease. Assistant Defence Minister Andrew Hastie said increased cyber security measures were needed to help combat the rise in cyber attacks. “Malicious cyber criminals are escalating their attacks on Australians,” he said. “We need all Australians to be vigilant by taking simple cyber security steps including using strong passphrases, enabling two-factor authentication, updating software and devices and maintaining regular data backups.”

International Travel To Resume In November By Warren Strybosch
We all might be able to travel as early as next month based on the announcement by the Prime Minister in late September. Victorians have suffered the severest of lockdowns in the whole world with Australians been barred from exiting the country without an exemption since March 2020, two months after the first COVID-19 case was recorded in the country. Home Covid-19 Tests To Begin From November By Matt Coughlan

Australians will be able to self-test for coronavirus at home from November provided a series of hurdles are cleared. Therapeutic Goods Administration boss John Skerritt is confident rapid antigen tests will be available in homes from November 1. While no company has a kit ready for the Australian market, he believes several stars will align before the date announced on Tuesday. Professor Skerritt said all tests granted approval for home use needed to be tested against the Delta variant. “It does seem that some of the tests – and I don’t want to name particular products, but some of them are quite significant products – are much less sensitive against Delta,” he told a Senate committee.
The TGA also needs all test manufacturers to ensure instructions are suitable for about a year-seven level of reading or people for whom English is a second language. Packaging must include a 1800-number to ring for advice on results or other issues with rapid antigen tests. “We are still confident, because we’ve been holding hands with some of the most advanced companies for a few weeks, that by November 1 there will be products available,” Professor Skerritt said. Home rapid antigen tests, which can return results in 20 minutes, have been used overseas for months. But Australian authorities have been cautious in expanding use beyond selected workplaces because of concerns around accuracy compared to nose and throat swabs.
The TGA’s November 1 approval date has been chosen to allow legal changes, as well as factoring in higher vaccination rates and disease as Australia opens up. State and territory governments would have the power to compel people who test positive at home to get a PCR test. Health Minister Greg Hunt is confident some of the more than 30 tests already approved to be used under supervision will be converted to meet the conditions for home use. “This is an important additional protection for Australians,” he told reporters. “One of the important things is that we can supplement what is known as PCR testing – the testing that we all know if we go to a Commonwealth or a state clinic – with the home testing.”

COVID-19 Relief Payments to be unwound By Warren Strybosch
As Australia starts to reach its vaccination targets as part of the National Plan, the government believes it is time to start withdrawing the financial support they have been providing to many Australians since COVID hit our shores. With over $9 billion of payments made to date, and as borders start to reopen, and there is an end in sight to lockdowns, the government is hoping businesses will be able to rebound quickly and not require any additional support. When we reach 70% full vaccination As soon as we reach 70% full adult vaccination in our state, the automatic renewal that has been in place will end and individuals will need to reapply each week to confirm their eligibility but only if a Commonwealth Hotspot remains in place. When we reach 80% full vaccination As soon as we reach 80% full adult vaccination, the COVID-19 Disaster Payment will phase out over a two-week period. Trigger Disaster payment per week

One piece of good news is that the Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment will remain in place until 30 June 2022. This is paid when someone cannot work because they need to self-isolate or care for someone with COVID-19. Support for business Each state and territory manages financial support to small business in different ways. For Victorian’s, the state government has distributed grants to businesses that have been jointly funded with the Commonwealth. For many of these grants, funding has been topped up in line with lockdown extensions. The small business hardship fund providing one-off grants of $20,000 for businesses that have suffered a 70% or more decline in turnover and were not eligible for other grants or funding, will reopen. The Business Costs Assistance Program will provide automatic top-ups to existing recipients across October and into the first half of November (two fortnightly payments between 1-29 October on a rising scale). Businesses that remain closed or severely restricted between 70% and 80% double dose will receive an automatic payment for the period from 29 October to 13 November. Licensed hospitality venue fund recipients will also receive weekly top-ups in October of between $5,000 and $20,000, stepped according to venue capacity. Between 70% and 80% double dose, payments for licensed premises in metropolitan Melbourne will be reduced by 25%, and in regional Victoria by 50%. Victoria is not expected to reach the 70% vaccination target until the end of October, and 80% in early to mid-November. National The National Plan stipulates that interstate borders are to reopen at 80% double vaccination but this will depend on health advice at the time.

Generally, international borders will reopen at 80% double vaccination with Australian and permanent residents able to quarantine at home for 7 days. Unvaccinated travellers will need to stay in hotel quarantine for 14 days. Commercial flights will also resume for vaccinated Australians with Australia expected to implement a ‘red light, green light’ system like the UK to designate safe countries.
Those needing financial support will no longer be eligible for the disaster payment, regardless of whether a Commonwealth hotspot is in place, and instead will need to apply for another form of income support such as JobSeeker.
The Western Australian Government continues to play it safe and has stated that it will announce an easing of border restrictions once an 80% double vaccination has been achieved for those over 12 years of age.

Melbourne Lockdown Dates will be of interest to you if you’re a taxpayer living in Melbourne. The COVID-19 pandemic will mean that you’ve likely had to work from home due to the various Melbourne lockdowns. Some Melbourne taxpayers have been working from home since 31st March 2020, possibly earlier. As accountants and tax agents in Melbourne, we’ve asissted taxpayers in working out their working from home tax deductions for the 2020 tax return and 2021 tax return. With the lockdowns extending into the 2022 financial year, we will no doubt be assisting with working from home tax deductions in the 2022 financial as well.
Melbourne Lockdown 3 dates: Saturday 13th February 2021 to Wednesday 17th February 2021. A total of 5 calendar days. This excludes 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday. Total workdays during Melbourne Lockdown 3 is 3 days.
To be able to work out your working from home tax deduction you will need to keep a record of the days from which you work from home. Every taxpayer’s circumstances will differ and not all Melburnians will have worked at home on the same dates throughout 2020 and 2021 financial years. However, the following guide will assist you by outlining the Melbourne lockdown dates from 2020 through to August 2021. Melbourne Lockdown 1 dates: Tuesday 31st March 2020 to Tuesday 12th May 2020. A total of 43 calendar days. This includes 6 Saturdays, 6 Sundays and two public holidays being Good Friday and Easter Monday. Therefore the total workdays during Melbourne Lockdown 1 is 29 calendar days.
Melbourne Lockdown 2 dates: Thursday 9th July 2020 to Tuesday 27th October 2020. A total of 111 calendar days.
Melbourne Lockdown 4 dates: Friday 28th May 2021 to Thursday 10th June 2021. A total of 14 calendar days. This excludes 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays. Total workdays during Melbourne Lockdown 4 is 10 days.

Vaccine passports on track for October By Matt Coughlan

Australia will begin issuing coronavirus vaccine passports from next month as preparations to restart international jetsetting continue. Travel is not expected to start until vaccination coverage for people aged 16 and over reaches 80 per cent, which is likely months away. The first international immunisation certificates are set to be rolled out in October with the federal government also working with other countries to determine which vaccines will be recognised. A spokesman for Stuart Robert, the cabinet minister in charge of digital and data policy, said further details would be released soon. “The Morrison government continues to work towards vaccine assurance standards that will be one element of enabling vaccinated Australians to move and travel more freely,” he said on Wednesday. In the US, people with proof they have had World Health Organisation-approved vaccines – including Australian-made AstraZeneca jabs – can self-monitor and get tested after entering the country.
People without approved vaccines must quarantine for a week. All travellers arriving in Australia must complete two weeks’ quarantine regardless of vaccination status. Prime Minister Scott Morrison said home quarantine would be key for restarting international travel with premiers asked to provide timetables about introducing the measure. “Home quarantine is where we go next,” he said. State governments are also forging ahead with plans to link vaccination status to check-in apps which would allow people to be allowed into venues. Labor is calling for a nationally consistent approach with forgery protections and assurances about data accuracy. Opposition frontbencher Amanda Rishworth said if the Morrison government had succeeded with the COVID Safe app a national system would be possible. “We have to ensure that everyone has had the opportunity to get a vaccine, and that is just not the case at the moment,” she told Sky News.
Mr Morrison said vaccine certificates would be needed to enter pubs, cafes and sporting events as well as being crucial for travel. NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian is confident the Victorian border will be open in time for Christmas despite other states flagging hardline measures will continue. “I have absolute confidence that there’ll be much more movement within Australia,” she told reporters in Sydney. Australia has fully vaccinated 39 per cent of its over-16 population while almost 64 per cent have received a single dose. Nine more deaths in NSW took the outbreak’s state toll to 148 with hospitalisations rising and another 1480 cases detected on Wednesday. Victoria recorded 221 new cases, while there were 20 new infections in the ACT. Lockdown in regional Victoria – except Shepparton in the state’s north – will end on Friday morning but Melbourne will remain under heavy restrictions.

COVID Update Fair Work Commission: Employers Cannot Fire an Unvaccinated COVID Employee By Warren Strybosch
There has been a lot of talk about whether an employer has the right to fire anyone who does not get vaccinated or has not been vaccinated by a certain date. Basically, you cannot, and all employers should read the Fair Work Commissioners decision regarding this matter. As of the 1st of October, many health employees will have been required to take their first vaccination otherwise they will either lose their jobs or be placed on leave with or without pay. By the 15th of October many other employees across Victoria will have to have their first jab to retain their jobs. Already, we have heard of many employees quitting their jobs rather than having to take the jab whilst some employers are stating their employees cannot work if they do not. One school has seen seven teachers resign just prior to VCE Exams starting. The principal of the private school is finding it very difficult to replace those teachers at such short notice. The issue employers face, over the COVID jab, is a dire one. Do they fire their employees and face potential legal action for unfair dismissal or retain their employees and hope they do not receive a fine from the government? The ruling by the Fair Work Commission [2021] FWCFB 6015 dated the 27th of September, 2021, has stated that it is unlawful for employers to fire any employee on the grounds of that employee not being vaccinated in relation to COVID. The commissioner has, in their ruling, stated that the COVID vaccine is different to other types of vaccines in that those who have been vaccinated can still get COVID and pass COVID on to others. The COVID was never designed to stop people getting COVID or stop the transmission of COVID to others. As such, the commissioner has stated that a better way to manage the health and wellbeing of employees and customers, is to continue to test staff and customers as they enter the business premises. In testing staff, you will be able to determine very quickly who does and does not have COVID. Whereas no testing could still result in vaccinated staff having COVID and passing it on to others.
The Fair Work Ombudsman has publicly stated that employers will need to have a “compelling reason” before requiring vaccinations, and that “the overwhelming majority of employers should assume that they can’t require their employees to be vaccinated against coronavirus”. (emphasis added) Safe Work Australia has publicly stated that “most employers will not need to make vaccinations mandatory to meet their [health and safety] obligations”. (emphasis added) The commissioner has made it very clear that, for most employers, it will be unlawful to fire staff if they choose not to take the COVID vaccine and she made it clear that employers who mandate vaccinations will be liable for any adverse reactions their workers may experience, given this is a foreseeable outcome for some people. Be Wary of Property Spruikers and Fake SMSF Advisers ACCOUNTANT By Warren Strybosch
If you have anything to do with a SMSF you, like me, are seeing a proliferation of Facebook ads promoting the use of a SMSF to purchase your home. These ads are misleading as you cannot purchase your home which implies the house you live in. You are not allowed to purchase assets that you will personally use or gain benefit from directly or indirectly. ASIC is also getting tired of property spruikers who are targeting individuals to set up SMSF for the sole purpose of investing in property investments and developments. As an example, the corporate regulator, back in August, commenced Federal Court proceedings alleging a property development company provided unlicensed advice around SMSFs. In a statement, ASIC said it had issued Federal Court proceedings alleging the Property group operated an unregistered managed investment scheme and provided unlicensed financial advice to consumers.
Recently, a Victorian man who posed as an adviser and stole more than $2.7 million in life savings from relatives and associates through SMSF rollovers has been sentenced to eight years in jail. The advisor was sentenced to eight years and four months in jail. Court documents reveal the fake advisor had used SMSFs as the primary vehicle in conducting several superannuation rollovers, which were set up to defraud victims. Once having access to the client’s funds, he took those funds and used them for his own personal use. He would then invite others to set up similar SMSFs, and use their money to pay back ‘dividends’ to the previous investors to make it look like they were getting a return. It was another classic “Ponzi Scheme” built around SMSF investors. In victim impact statements, it was revealed the fake advisors actions had inflicted mental, emotional and physical harm, with most victims and their families were left in a position worse than ever before financially. In the judgement, Justice Trapnell said the level of dishonesty that was shown towards close family members and others was “nothing short of breathtaking”.
The action follows the regulator obtaining asset freezing orders against the directors of the property group.
“Your crimes were sophisticated, well planned and executed and involved sustained fraudulent conduct on your part. While there was an element of ‘robbing Peter to pay Paul’, your motive for committing these crimes was also to support your lifestyle,” Justice Trapnell said.
"ASIC alleges that between at least 1 March 2017 and 16 December 2020, [the directors] encouraged around 300 investors to establish SMSFs and invest in property investments and developments…," ASIC said.
“The funds you defrauded were very quickly dissipated, and there is no evidence, on the agreed facts, that, in most cases, you ever intended to ever reimburse or otherwise compensate your victims.
"ASIC is seeking winding up and disqualification orders and the appointment of liquidators and receivers to secure assets of the alleged scheme."
“While it is true some of your victims were not unsophisticated in matters of business and investment, they were nevertheless easy prey to your appallingly dishonest conduct. Some of your other victims were quite vulnerable.

The Professional Register enables you to check if the person has a Financial Services Licensee or is an Australian Financial Services Authorised Representative. You can then click on the ‘Go to the Financial Advisor Register’ which will take you to the Money Smart website and provide details about the advisor. What you are looking for is to see if the advisor, under the product areas they can advise, has listed under ‘Superannuation’ the following wording: ‘Superannuation – All’.

Company Director Identification Number – Dates Have Been Set Directors of new companies are required to obtain a directors ID but application deadlines have now been extended. For current directors the date has been set.
The ABRS is responsible for the implementation and administration of director ID. ASIC will be responsible for the enforcement of associated offences.
The Government has issued Legislative instrument Corporations (Director Identification Numbers—Transitional Application Period) Instrument 2021. It extends the application period in which new eligible officers are required to apply for a director identification number (director ID) if the individual becomes an eligible officer in the period starting when the director ID legislation commenced and ends 31 October 2021.

Director identification number From November 2021, new directors will need to verify their identity as part of a new director ID requirement. A director ID is a unique identifier that a director will apply for once and keep forever. This applies to directors if their organisation is a company, registered foreign company, registered Australian body or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporation. Directors must apply for their director ID themselves because they will need to verify their identity. No one can apply on their behalf.
It is important to note that when registering for a director ID you must obtain a MyGovID account which is different to your current MyGov account – just to add to the complexity of it all we will have multiply MyGov accounts.
For Existing company directors, they will now be required to apply for a director ID by 30 November 2022, while directors of Indigenous corporations that are governed by the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 (CATSI Act) will be required to apply for the unique identifier by 30 November 2023. The deadline, first floated by Treasury earlier this year, has now been confirmed in a legislative instrument made last week by the Minister for Superannuation, Financial Services and the Digital Economy, senator Jane Hume. Applications for a director ID are free and will open next month on the newly established Australian Business Registry Services (ABRS), a single platform administered by the Commissioner of Taxation that brings together ASIC’s 31 business registers and the Australian Business Register.

Split Loans
MORTGAGE BROKERING By Jodie Moore
I recently helped a couple refinance their home loan. They were wanting to pay it off within 10 years but were a little bit nervous about interest rates rising which could push that timeframe out. We discussed the possibility of them having a split loan where they could take advantage of having a variable loan that they could pay off quickly whilst also having some security and locking in the low rates of a fixed rate loan. So how does a split loan work? Using the above example of wanting the ability to pay of a loan quickly but maximising the benefits of low fixed rates, let’s use a loan amount of $500,000. If you locked in 80% of the loan, or $400,000, on a fixed rate, and put the other 20% or $100,000 into a variable rate you would effectively have two separate home loans but for the one security, your house. You would pay the minimum amount
onto the fixed loan and then as much as possible onto the variable loan. You would continue this for the duration of the fixed rate period and then you would have the option of either letting the fixed rate loan roll over into a variable loan, potentially at a higher rate, or repeating the cycle – refinance another amount, say 70%, into a new fixed rate loan and have 30% as variable. Again you would pay the minimum off the fixed rate loan and as much as possible onto the variable loan. If your aim is to pay of the entire home loan early, then you would want just enough in the variable loan that you could almost pay it right off during that 2-3 years whilst getting the lowest rate possible for the remainder of the loan, the fixed portion. Even if you didn’t want to or couldn’t pay excess of on the variable loan, it would still give you the flexibility that comes with a variable loan just in case you did find yourself with some extra money at any point, such as a tax return. The percentage that you allocate to the fixed rate loan and the variable rate loan is

Building Industry Gets Much-Needed Timber By Colin Brinsden, AAP Economics and Business Correspondent

A much-needed $15.1 million cash injection from the federal government will help alleviate critical timber shortages in the housing construction industry. The new program will target timber on Kangaroo Island and support the transportation of bushfire-salvaged softwood to mills. Australian Forest Products Association CEO Ross Hampton said without the investment up to 10,000 house frames of timber would have been bulldozed and burnt. “At a time when our builders and home owners are desperate
for timber this would have been an extremely poor outcome,” Mr Hampton said. Housing Industry Association managing director Graham Wolfe said the residential building industry had been navigating its way through a period of record building activity. But at the same time, the impact of COVID has put constraints on building materials and delayed the commencement of new projects. “Timber supply in particular has been affected by a range of factors, including last year’s bushfires and skyrocketing global demand,” Mr Wolfe said. Master Builders Australia chief executive
Denita Wawn said it was a great move. “The acute timber shortage is causing delays and cost increases that are hurting our members and negatively impacting their clients,” she said. “Builders and tradies around the country will be breathing a sigh of relief.” Housing Minister Michael Sukkar said the government was backing in the building and forestry industries to keep the economy growing and employing Australians. “By ensuring our supply chains can support the pipeline of new builds, we are helping people get into their new homes as soon as possible,” he said.

Love, Compassion and Togetherness trumps Anger and Divide! PARENTING By Lesley-Anne Banton
With so much divide and civil unrest it is a time to come together despite how we individually choose to experience and perceive the world right now. Life is tough enough without the divide of our personal point of views around covid. What if we could show compassion, love, and respect, despite our differences of opinions? Could the journey out of this psychologically and emotionally could be through love, compassion, and togetherness? On many levels and areas in life, there is stress right now and most of it comes from FEAR showing up when COVID showed up. ET is an iconic film of an extra-terrestrial showing up after being left behind and his journey to get back home. The journey to get home for him was scary, unknown, and filled with uncertainty about the place he had been left behind in. He learns to trust those around him overcomes his fear, likewise, the humans around him build trust in him, rally around in love and compassion to keep ET safe and get him home. Likewise, there were a group who fear him, hunted him, wanted to capture him. If we use ET as a symbol that represents our fear showing up having been triggered by the uncertainty of COVID being present in our lives and not knowing what could happen when this might leave us, and what it could do while it is here. What is that your fear might need, in this unknown time?
Fear is a part of you that can do unpredictable things to your thinking, perception, and actions, it can be a part of you that you shame, a part of you that you might be scared of as it might be alien to you, or let it become part of your identity when it never used to be. How might your fear/ anxiety/ stress react to being on an unknown world – the world of covid and being screamed at, feared? What might it need to feel safe? What might it need to be ok with being there and understood? In the film, ET quickly built trust with those around him, and without a full understanding of words, he felt love and secure enough to put trust in those around him to help him get home. It was love, compassion and togetherness that go him home. How might you help yourself, your fear/ stress/ anxiety get back home? home to love trust and understanding? This can be also true with many right now, as they are in panic and want to contain, ignore, or destroy their fear. Fear and panic can be paralysing, it can cause you to run away from those trying to help you and towards those who don’t. Fear can also dominate your thoughts and prevent you from moving forward because you feel unsafe, unsure and can also make decisions that you wouldn’t normally make and be someone you normally wouldn’t be. It was understanding, trust, compassion, and love that helped ET get home. What could help you to get back to a place that you know you are home within yourself? Is it love? Compassion? Understanding of where you are at?
So how can we move from fear to love? Notice Awareness Focus In fear we might feel withdrawn, we might believev we have no choice, we are stuck, hopeless, attacked, angry, or in procrastination. We might also be forthright, overstep other people’s boundaries with words or actions. We might make irrational decisions and statements, act in a way to ‘protect' ourselves but hurt or disrespect others in the process, our bodies might feel a bit off, low in energy, or feel we want to take flight. Whatever it is for you one of the first steps is to NOTICE this. Notice where your thoughts and thinking are at, how your body is feeling, what are your actions doing? Once you empower yourself with noticing yourself, your thoughts, emotions, and feeling are you give yourself the gift of awareness. With this AWARENESS, you can put words and understanding to where you are at and what state of mind and emotions you are in. You can then choose to change your thinking and focus to bring you back to love. In this space ask yourself: • • • •
What would love do? What would compassion do? If I was in a state of love or certainty, what would I do? What would I think? Feel? Act? What if I showed compassion to those who have a different perception and opinion?
As you are asking yourself these questions breathe and FOCUS on yourself, calm your breathing and notice your body calming, bring thoughts of love, kindness, joy, gratitude, or whatever words bring a sense of calm and peace to you. By bringing yourself back to a place of love and out of a state of fear you can navigate your world differently more empowered, and you could help those around you come back to a place of love come back to a place of feeling like home within themselves, bring back a sense of togetherness.

Budgeting For Your Business Insurance Program During Covid

Business owners often face challenges meeting the regular demands on their cash flow. Payroll, rental, vehicle costs and insurance are expenses that are dynamic in nature, and seldom link neatly to the official inflation rate. Payroll may be affected by market conditions where a shortage of skilled labour can lead to sharp increases in hourly rate. Rental increases are generally capped under a lease, however if having to relocate, the going rate for a suitable premises may be more expensive due to a shortage of suitable buildings. Insurance too can suffer from a “shortage” of available capacity from insurers. Several factors which can contribute to this are changes in Insurer risk appetite, loss ratios in an industry sector, falling interest rates and increasing costs relating to statutory requirements. This has been the case for some time and has produced conditions referred to as a “Hard Market”.
So what approach should clients take when planning for the year ahead? Assuming your occupation is not considered “uninsureable”, it is best to assume that even if your turnover has fallen this will not necessarily lead to a lower premium. If your occupation has had premium increases last year, it would be fair to say you should expect at least a similar rise again if not a greater one this year. Nobody can say for sure what a fair budget increase should be, and given that some occupations are rated as a higher risk than others, any ballpark figures are likely to be highly inaccurate. Keeping that in mind, some restraint with non-essential spending to give you a buffer in your budget may be in order. After all, without the insurance policies in place to transfer risk away from the business and the directors, your assets are at risk. I would argue that insurance is one of, if not the most important cost in any business, and essential cover should not be sacrificed due to tight cash flow.
So if you are worried about your next large renewal payment, have a talk to your broker now, and consider premium funding options to “bill smooth” your way past a budget bottleneck. Options which may help to reduce premium cost may include cutting away an activity which is high risk and low profit, as this may be one reason the cost increases are so financially hurtful. Increasing risk management, and adding additional security or decreasing stock on hand may also contribute to lower premiums. Other strategies can be employed, however they are best discussed with your broker on an individual basis. What colour goes where? Colours add such a strong presence to a home that choosing what goes where needs careful decision making. Personal choice obviously is your number one priority but consider also the layout and spaces in your home.

During the Covid lockdown, have you been staring at the same four walls, and thinking they need brightening up? With the weather warming up and the days becoming lighter, homeowners often use spring as the time to repaint the interior of their homes.
Is it long and narrow, is it open plan, does it have divided areas such as an upper storey or a granny flat annex? Different colours can be used to great effect in different rooms to create a sense of unified harmony; for instance, calm blues and pastels are appropriate for the calm atmosphere needed in a bedroom, whereas vibrant reds energise living rooms and display walls.
A fresh coat of paint can reinvigorate the whole house, or even just one room. Breathe new life into your older-style dwelling or make a bold statement in a large space.
Unless you want to do a complete make-over, you will need to consider the colours of your existing furnishings and fittings. Align your colour cards against your cabinetry, flooring and tiles, door handles, taps and bathware. Silver-based taps and shower heads in a bathroom may require cooler tones whereas gold ones attract a warmer palette.

Their choices for colour of the year often draw on trends in pop culture, fashion, technology and design from around the world. In the last two years, the Covid pandemic has certainly affected the way we live and has changed many aspects of decor. Hunkered down and isolated, people have begun seeing their homes as a refuge, a place that celebrates family, and that actually got more traffic due to breadwinners and kids being home all the time. The trend seems to be the need to change homes to create warm and safe spaces in an uncertain world. Colours for 2022 Colours evoke different sensations. For instance, branding experts tell us that orange equals innovation. This year, online searches for green paint colours have more than doubled since 2020, indicating that homeowners are seeking colours that are calming and soothing. Forbes magazine reports that, ‘in a year when we all need to breathe deeply’, the colour of the year will be ‘a tranquil, soothing, pale green hue’ that fosters feelings of coolness and peace: the colour has no warm elements. Soft and amenable to a vast range of colour pairings (think dark navy, natural stone tones and velvety greys), the peaceful

Perinatal health encompasses the time from pregnancy up to 1 year after the birth of your baby. In last months edition we began by looking at the signs and symptoms of postnatal depression (PND) and anxiety (PNA) and how parents describe the experience of these conditions. We know that as many as 1 in 5 mothers and 1 in 10 fathers experience PND and PNA in Australia every year, and many experience both at the same time. Postnatal anxiety and depression can be frightening, confusing and isolating. Many parents with PND/PNA have said that it was difficult to distinguish what were “normal” thoughts and feelings and what where not. Furthermore, many parents do not want to disclose their true thoughts and feelings, which keeps them from receiving the treatment they might otherwise need. Stigma around mental health illness, shame and guilt about “being a bad parent” can often keep parents from talking to their loved ones about what they are going through. And many who know they could do with some help find it very difficult to raise their concerns with their health care professionals. But the sooner parents get help, the sooner they can recover. So where do you turn for help? As an employer you have an obligation to provide and maintain safe plant (machinery and equipment), provide and maintain safe systems of work, ensure the safe use, handling, storage or transport of plant or substances, keep workplaces in a safe condition, free of risks to health (for example, ensure fire exits aren’t blocked, and the worksite is generally tidy), provide suitable facilities for welfare, give your employees the necessary information, instruction, training or supervision to enable them to do their work in a way that is safe and without risks to health. The law requires employers to eliminate risks so far as is reasonably practicable. To decide what is reasonably practicable, you must consider: • • • • •

Problems Your Garage Door May Be Suffering In Spring GARAGE DOORS By Chantal Djuric
When you hear of the term ‘spring cleaning’, you probably think of cleaning out cupboards, sweeping and dusting and possibly a few outdoor renovations. One of your largest assets could also do with a spring clean – your garage door. Here are 8 things to watch and listen out for. 1 Odd sounds If you hear your garage door making grating or scraping sounds, this could be an indication of a problem with the automatic opening mechanism. A regularly maintained, well tuned door moves smoothly and quietly. The springs, pulleys and cables on both sides of the door should be symmetrical. 2 Dirty tracks Check if the tracks on both sides are clear of rubbish and rust. Use a plumb level to measure that they are level. 3 Loose brackets A typical garage door opens and closes hundreds of times a year, even during Covid lockdowns. This up-and-down action can loosen the door and its brackets and fasteners. 4 Wear and tear on rollers and cables Rollers along the edges of the door should be inspected at least twice a year for signs of chipping, cracking or wearing. Cables and pulleys should have no fraying, broken strands or any other indication of wear or damage.
5 Sticking door All moving parts, such as pulleys, rollers and hinges, can seize up gradually over time. They need to be lubricated at least twice a year. 6 Door opener needs replacing often If your garage door is not properly balanced, this puts undue strain on the door opening mechanism, which reduces its lifespan. To test if your door is balanced correctly, pull the release handle on the automatic opener and lift the door manually till it is open halfway. If it doesn’t remain still but slides down, it is unbalanced or the springs need replacing. 7 Auto-reverse not working As a safety measure, all automatic garage door openers have an autoreverse function designed to stop and re-open it if an object in the path of the door is detected or it hits something while closing. You can test if this is working by placing a piece of wood (without nails!) under the door and close it. The door should stop and reverse when it senses the wood. Older garage door openers that lack this basic feature should be replaced immediately. 8 Worn weather strip The rubber strip beneath the door helps prevent water, leaves, dust and dirt from entering your garage while keeping the temperature within regulated. Check its condition because, being made of rubber, it will wear out. One clue is to stand inside your garage (making sure you have an adequate exit plan!), bend down and see if light is coming through from underneath the door. This means there are gaps and that the rubber weatherstrip needs replacing.
How do I fix my garage door, and how often? If you’re a weekend backyard hero, you may find it tempting to save a few dollars and attempt to address these problems on your own. But some of the problems are downright dangerous to try fixing on your own; the others may look easy to fix but are not. Each garage door make and model has its own specifications that require precision, the right tools and the right parts. Though garage doors look hefty, they have delicate mechanisms that require minute finetuning procedures to have them running at their optimal best. If you make a mistake when trying to solve your garage door problems yourself, you could end up with a nasty Christmas bill by damaging the mechanism or, worse, possibly end up in hospital. Adjusting anything to do with a garage door at all is really best left to a qualified garage door technician. Do you remember visiting your grandma – the smell of freshly baked biscuits, the comfy cushions, the stories she told you? Not everyone has ‘grandma’ memories like this, but many can recall with deep pleasure the moments they spent with their grandparents. That time spent with the older generation has health benefits for both the older ones and the young. Each instinctively senses the vulnerability of the other and treasures the precious time together. The children have an adult they can confide in who is not the parent, and the older ones feels valued and more alive. Old age should be a time of peace and happiness, just as retirement is a reward for living a long and fulfilling life. Tim Costello once said, ‘The sign of a mature society is how it treats its animals, its children, its women and its elders.’ The German government was one of the first to recognise this by introducing an old age pension in 1889. Australia followed suit in 1908. But for so many, the pension isn’t enough. Growing older also brings challenges. They can’t read as well, they have trouble keeping up in the conversation as they gradually become deafer, they can’t pick up things off the floor anymore because their hips don’t bend. Worse than the physical deterioration is probably the emotional toll – the death of spouses, the loss of friends to dementia, unaccustomed isolation as neighbours move out of the area. The really sad thing nowadays it that so many grandparents don’t have any sort of relationships with their grandchildren due to divorce, business opportunities interstate and, lately, the COVID-19 lockdown. Loneliness and the toll of physical decline are common issues for our elderly and lead to alarmingly high rates of depression among older Australians, as much as 10 to 15% of all people over 65 years of age. Not surprisingly, the rates of those suffering depression is higher among those in aged care facilities. And not only does isolation lead to depression – it also increases the
likelihood of developing more severe dementia. Researchers have found that loneliness and social isolation also make a person more at risk of high blood pressure, a weakened immune system, anxiety, Alzheimer’s disease, cognitive decline and even giving up the will to live.

In business, just like in life, there are some ‘must do’s’ and then we all have a wish list of ‘nice to have’. When it comes to paying your employees superannuation, this is an absolute must do! The ATO have been coming down hard on businesses who do not comply, and ensuring employees are receiving the superannuation they are entitled to. The ATO completes regular audits, however in most cases, they are tipped off by employees (past and current) that their super payments have been missed, which is where costly investigations start. If you are a small business owner, missing these payments can absolutely end up chewing through your bottom line- and for some businesses caught out doing the wrong thing for too long, it can ultimately destroy the business. It is imperative you budget for these superannuation payments and stay educated and informed about your responsibilities and any changes.
What are the fees for not paying on time? If you declare this before the SGC deadline, the interest will be around 10%, plus a $20 fee per employee. If you do not declare, these fees can increase to a maximum of 200%! If you are a Director of a company, you are personally liable for the amount outstanding and the ATO can collect the penalty by other means (such as withholding tax refund). Personal Insurance – When does your policy really expire? FINANCIAL PLANNING By Warren Strybosch

It is important to note when your personal insurance policies expire as they don’t necessarily expire on your birthday. When you receive your welcome email or acceptance letter from the insurer regarding your new personal insurance, we suggest you take note of the policy end date or expiry date. It will be clearly written in the letter and sometimes it is displayed on the renewal forms. Unfortunately, not all insurers state the expiry date on the renewal forms so it is easy for clients to forget when the actual date is; especially when some clients have held policies for over 20 years. Often clients believe, especially if they have a policy benefit period up to age 65 that the policy will expire on their 65th birthday, when in it fact this is not the case; especially when it comes to Income Protection policies. The ‘up to age 65’ is exactly that and most Income Protection policies expire prior to your 65th birthday, after you have turned 64 and when the next policy renewal date comes around. For instance, if I was turning 65 on the 1st of August and my renewal always occurred on the 1st of May, then my expiry date is going to be the 1st of May and not on my birthday. For those who hold policies up to age 70,
This can catch clients out if they forget their actual expiry date and think it is their 65th birthdate. As an example, we heard of a situation where a client required hip surgery. He had Income Protection and was putting off the surgery until he was close to age 65. He was going to submit an Income Protection claim, as he was fully entitled too because the surgery would require him to take time off work when he had his surgery. Unfortunately, for him, he thought his Income Protection policy expired on his 65th birthday so he booked for the surgery prior to his birthday, when in fact, the policy had already expired in April. He was not impressed as he had forgotten the actual expiring date. What he also was not happy about was that the insurer never stated what the expiry date was on the renewal notices, and they do not send out any information prior to the policy lapsing. As such, the client had forgotten the actual expiry date, booked a date of surgery after the expiring date and missed out on receiving any income protection benefits for which he was hoping to get and had been planning on. It is important to write down your expiry dates. We recommend placing them into your Calendar associated with your emails or mobile phones.

You can re-contribute COVID-19 early release super until 30 June 2030 If you were one of the millions of Australians who pulled money out of your super during COVID, the ATO has advised that individuals can now place those funds back into super without it affecting their non-concessional cap up until 30 June 2030. The will be called the COVID-19 re-contribution – a new type of contribution. The ATO has advised that individuals can now re-contribute amounts they withdrew under the COVID-19 early release of super program. They are a personal contribution that we will exclude from an individual’s non-concessional contribution cap. The ATO also said individuals can make COVID-19 recontribution amounts to any fund of their choice where the fund rules allow.

Fraser Island To Revert To Indigenous Name

The Queensland government will change the name of Fraser Island back to K’gari, the name used by its traditional owners. The Butchulla people on Sunday celebrated the name-change – which mean’s ‘paradise’ – for the UNESCO World Heritage Area. The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service renamed the national park as K’gari (Fraser Island) in 2017. Butchulla Aboriginal Corporation official Jade Gould said her people had been campaigning for years for the name to be changed back. “The name Fraser Island is a tribute to Eliza Fraser – a woman whose narrative directly led to the massacre and dispossession of the Butchulla people,” she said in a statement. “A word meaning paradise in Butchulla language is a much more fitting name for such an iconic place.”
Queensland Environment Minister Meaghan Scanlon says the government will soon begin talks with the Butchulla people and other stakeholders to formally rename the island. She said the government has renamed a number of places already, including Naree Budjong Djara National Park on Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island) and Gheebulum Kunungai National Park Mulgumpin (Moreton Island). “The Palaszczuk government recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island heritage and cultures, which represent an enduring and ongoing connection to Country for over 60,000 years,” Ms Scanlon said. The island’s Kingfisher Bay Resort Group general manager David Hay said his company supported the Butchulla people’s push for the name to revert. “This change couldn’t have come at a better time as we emerge from COVID and work to attract domestic and international travellers back to the region and the island,” he said.
“There has never been a truer word spoken – K’gari really is paradise.” K’gari was originally known by Europeans as Great Sandy Island before it was changed to Fraser Island after Scotswoman Eliza Fraser was shipwrecked there in 1836. Ms Fraser was eventually rescued by an escaped convict and taken back to Moreton Bay, now Brisbane. She initially claimed she was mistreated by the local Indigenous people on the island, but changed her account a number of times. Liberal National Party MP Jarrod Bleijie was against the name being changed back to K’gari. “Have been going on holidays to Fraser Island all my life and will continue to go to FRASER ISLAND for the rest of it, despite what woke @AnnastaciaMP says,” he tweeted.

2021 TA Active asset test passed for "vacant" land used as storage Appeals note: The decision in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal was in favour of the taxpayer, allowing the use of the small business CGT concessions. The event was subsequently updated in January 2020 when the original decision was overturned by the Federal Court. In September 2020, the Full Federal Court then overturned the single judge decision, meaning the taxpayer once again may use the small business CGT concessions. The Full Federal Court advised that small business relief should be applied beneficially rather than restrictively for a taxpayer. The Commissioner of Taxation has not appealed to the High Court of Australia. The ATO issued a decision impact statement on 29 July 2021 where it will continue to review the impact of the decision on its advice and related products. Current decision in case: Land adjacent to taxpayer's main residence was used in the taxpayer's small business, and therefore passes the active asset test. SA COVID-19 stimulus and relief package Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the South Australian Government has implemented a range of stimulus payments for residents and businesses, as well as relief from state taxes. In response to the July 2021 South Australian lockdown: •
businesses with a reduction in turnover are eligible for emergency cash grants of up to $3,000

a second round of business support grants of up to $3,000 available for businesses in eligible industries
•
eligible events suffering significant losses from being cancelled or postponed can access funding of up to $25,000, and

individuals outside the federal government's declared hotspot areas who lose work hours will be entitled to the COVID-19 Disaster Payment.

In addition to these grant payments to affected businesses, in the past relief from payroll tax and land tax has been available. Also, landlords who provided rent relief, or commercial property owner-occupiers who were eligible for JobKeeper, were eligible for reduction in land tax liabilities up to 30 April 2021.
FBT car parking ruling confirms commerciality principle includes shopping centre car parks The principles of car parking fringe benefits and commercial parking stations have been confirmed by the ATO via public ruling. The ruling, which has now been finalised after a long consultation process, replaces a now withdrawn tax ruling from 1996. The ruling details the concept of a commercial parking facility, which is necessary for businesses with over $10 million turnover that provide car parking for free to staff. Specifically, a major change in the ATO's interpretation of a commercial parking station exists where a shopping centre car park comes within its definition. As there is a major change in interpretation, the ATO has advised that the new ruling will not apply to car parking benefits until 1 April 2022. Note: When the new rule comes into effect for shopping centres, the small business turnover threshold for car parking benefits will have increased from $10 million to $50 million.

Support payments of up to $30,000 will also be provided to eligible impacted large hospitality and tourism businesses. Applications for grants opened on 16 August 2021. Manningham Finding strength through connections Manningham is proactively creating a community where people of all cultural backgrounds are respected and valued. Over two online forums, community leaders and key members of our multicultural communities met with Councillors and officers to identify how Manningham can best work with them now and into the future. Mayor Cr Andrew Conlon said the initiative came out of the past 18 months of the COVID-19 pandemic. “While we’ve always had good relationships with our diverse and multi-cultural communities, the pandemic highlighted areas we could improve on,” he said. “The forums helped us better understand the needs of our multicultural communities and determine the best methods to engage with each other.” The forums were attended by 18 community leaders of various backgrounds and faiths. The top three findings and suggestions from the forums include multicultural communities want: • formal advisory mechanism to communicate with council and vice versa • an informal network to link community members with council and each other • to partner with council to regularly celebrate and share cultural practices (such as cultural food, arts and performances) and to hold topical events with speakers and special guests. Manningham is reviewing the findings and a new multicultural advisory committee will be set up in the coming months.
Applications to be part of the forthcoming Multicultural Advisory Committee will be sought through a public nomination process and will be advertised on Council’s website in the coming weeks.

Aussie Backyard Bird Count 2021 The Aussie Backyard Bird Count is an activity for all-ages that involves observing and counting the birds that live near you – whether that’s in your garden, the local park, a beach or even your town centre. By telling us about the birds you’ve seen within a 20 minute period, you will help BirdLife Australia develop an understanding of local birds, whilst getting to know the wildlife on your doorstep! How to get involved To complete the Aussie Backyard Bird Count, spend 20 minutes standing or sitting in one spot and noting down the birds that you see. You will need to count the number of each species you spot within the 20 minute period. For example, you might see 4 Australian Magpies, 2 Rainbow Lorikeets and a Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo. If you can identify birds by their calls, please include
these in your count, but if you aren’t sure of a bird without seeing it, please exclude it rather than making a guess. The Aussie Bird Count app has a handy field-guide to help you identify birds. Once you have completed your count, you can submit it in two different ways: • • You can submit your bird count through the online web form • You can submit your counts through the free Aussie Bird Count app The app is available for iPhones and Android smartphones. Go to Google Play or iTunes to download the app for free. If you have the Aussie Bird Count app from previous years don’t delete it, it should update automatically with the newest version. Stretch And Circus Workshop Join experienced circus trainer Franca Stadler in a workshop combining fun games, gentle stretching and movement, and basic circus techniques. Concepts plans ready to progress works on a major Warrandyte road for a safer and better connection
The concept plans for the remainder of the Jumping Creek Road upgrade are now complete, with the detailed design process to be undertaken in late 2021 and works commencing in late 2022. Council is planning to be invest over $17.9m over five years to upgrade this major road that will see a reconstruction of the full length of the road from Ringwood-Warrandyte Road in Warrandyte to Homestead Road in Wonga Park. We will also advocate to the State and Federal Government for further funding for this road and associated detours. Stage one of construction works were completed last year, and it is exciting to now present the concept plans for the remainder of the road upgrade. Throughout the development of the concept plans, Council has obtained feedback from the community and worked closely with the Jumping Creek Road Community Reference Panel. Manningham Mayor, Cr Andrew Conlon said that these concept plans were developed with the community and would be another step towards the upgrade of this important road.
“Manningham Council is proud to be another step closer to upgrading this road which will see safety improvements as well as increased vegetation, a mixed use trail, wildlife protection measures, improved road useability and an upgrade to the township intersection and streetscape,” Cr Conlon said. “We thank those who had input into the design of the concept plans and we look forward to commencing works on this important project.” Council will be running virtual drop-in sessions to share the concept plans with the wider community – the sessions will be held on zoom at the following times: • •

Donvale Bowls Club ”CHARACTERS” first meeting joined by those initially only interested in establishing a tennis and hockey club. At that meeting Jim inquired about bowls, and was immediately informed… your it! The club was officially opened by the then Doncaster-Templestowe Mayor Cr Bill Larkin on Saturday 27th August 1988. The new pavilion with its modern facilities, followed, opened in November 1992. For many, the local bowling club represents more than just enjoying a game of bowls, it’s a reason to gather, fellowship, camaraderie, and some might insist the pre-requisite, a quiet one after the game. Donvale Bowls Club has long been hailed as an extremely friendly and welcoming club. It has its characters which define and distinguish it. One such character at Donvale is Jim Morrison. Now Jim (pictured) is a young 92, a foundation and life member, past Secretary, and obviously occupying numerous offices and club responsibilities over the journey. He is the protector and carer of the clubs rose garden (pictured), watering, pruning, nurturing and in turn, overseeing and assisting with the club’s gardens and surrounds. He can be observed on most days, clad in his traditional overalls, attending to any mundane or routine duties that may be needed around the club. I might add, an extremely competent and competitive bowler. Jim’s interest in gardening commenced in 1981 working full time at Aumanns Orchard, later part time work until 2014. The club was originally located on the site of the “White Family Orchard”, corner of Reynolds and Springvale Roads Jim and his late wife Leaona attended the
Over those eventful years Jim, had witnessed and overseen many of the changes, those foundation years, establishing and ensuring the club’s survival, his guidance and influence instrumental in the construction of its new grass green, and slowly enlisting and welcoming new members to Donvale. Initially, from the club’s humble beginning…. Two Pennant teams, Divisions 8 and 12. How the club has grown and prospered since, currently boasting 15 Pennant sides, eight Saturday and seven Tuesday ranging from Division 1 to Division 9. Jim a pioneer, might be well satisfied with his contribution, reflecting on the clubs progress and development since. He is a much loved figure around our bowling club, his influence epitomises the loyalty and devotion that were to inspire us all in the years that followed.

Authentication Code & Customer Signature All Find Cards must display an Authentication Code and a members signature to be deemed VALID. If your Find Cards does not display your signature and the correct code, the business can refuse to provide the discount offer advertised. You will receive your Authentication code after registering your Find Card.

Find Cards that DO NOT display its Regions Sticker in the circle at the back and DO NOT display an Authentocation code in front of the Find Card are INVALID. They will not be accepted at any participating businesses. Also, your signature must be present. You may be asked to present ID to verify that Find Card belongs to you.
