LIRABELLE

LIRABELLE is a small publishing house founded by Olivier and Isabelle Ayme, passionate about children's books. Caring for quality rather than quantity the Publisher mostly relies on his instinct and what the French call his "coup de coeur", the choice made with the heart and not with the mind only. And it's the concept of "opening" that best represents the editorial approach of Lirabelle: opening to the original literary styles with an original graphics and with often unpublished techniques, opening to different cultures, to young talented illustrators and authors to whom the publishing house allows the great opportunity to express themselves and be known, as happened to Suzy Lee with L'oiseau noir, one of their best-selling authors.
