Doc gets into Limca Records for maximum leopard rescues

Sharma said that all effective steps have been taken to stop illegal mining in Rajasthan and the district administrations of the districts concerned are alert. She said that action is being taken against the people and organisations involved in illegal mining.

Jaipur: Senior veterinarian, Forest Department, Dr Arvind Mathur’s name has been registered in the Limca Book of Records for rescuing a maximum number of leopards in the country. The nominations for the record of 2021 were released by the Limca Book of Records.
By the year 2021, on records, Dr Mathur had rescued a total of 59 leopards, while off re- cords the number is 67 leopards rescues. He had rescued leopards in 14 districts to date. Dr Mathur has performed rescue operations at all the inaccessible places including jungle, houses, dhore, rocky areas and others.
