Jaipur (PTI): Rainfall triggered by a western disturbance continued in parts of Rajasthan on Monday and Mahaveerji in Karauli district recorded a maximum of 7 cm rain, the weather department said.

Boli in Sawai Madhopur, Parbatsar in Nagaur, Raipur in Pali recorded 4 cm while Tonk received 3 cm of rain during a period of 24 hours ending at 8.30 am Monday.

Bundi: A unique demonstration by the farmers was witnessed at the Keshavraipatan subdivision office on Monday. The angry farmers sat on a dharna at the door of the office of subdivision officer Narendra Meena for not meeting them. When the Tehsildar reached to collect the memorandum in the absence of the Sub-Divisional Officer, the crowd refused to hand over the memorandum to him. After this, the irate farmers sat on dharna for three hours and hung the memorandum around the neck of cows and buffalo in the office.
