Kondisi Demografi

Pada tahun 2018 menurut Department of Statistics Singapore, jumlah penduduk Singapura mencapai

angka 5,638 juta jiwa dengan Sex Ratio 959 laki laki per 1000 wanita, hal ini menunjukan bahwa jumlah laki-laki dan wanita di Singapura cukup seimbang. Begitu pula proporsinya dari populasi penduduk

berusia 65 tahun ke atas juga meningkat menjadi 13,7 persen pada tahun 2018, dibandingkan dengan 13,0 persen pada tahun 2017. Ini diikuti oleh orang Melayu 13,4 persen, dan orang India 9,0 persen.

Kondisi Ekonomi Statistik

mencatat

bahwa

perikanan

Singapura pada sektor produksi lokalnya mencapai 5.335 ton pada tahun 2019 lalu. Kemudian nilai ekspor yang berhasil dilakukan pada sektor perikanan Singapura sampai pada angka 17.556 ton pada tahun 2020.

Singapura menjadi salah satu destinasi wisata favorit yang berada di Benua Asia khususnya wilayah Asia

Tenggara. Iklim tropis yang dibawa membuat identitas tersendiri bagi Singapura. Tingkat kenyamanan dan keamanan bagi para wisatawan menjadi poin yang diunggulkan untuk menjual pariwisata Singapura.

Kondisi Sosial dan Budaya Lembaga penelitian yang berfungsi sebagai lembaga khusus

untuk

melaksanakan

penelitian

hingga

pengajaran yang bertujuan untuk kepentingan ilmu pengetahuan. Salah satu lembaga penelitian yakni Institute of Southeast Asian Studies yang didirikan pada tahun 1968 yang memiliki sejumlah pusat studies, perpustakan dan kantor penelitian. Selain itu,

lembaga

ini

adalah
