Greetings!
Hello NJDB! Happy Holidays! This time of the year is very exciting! Finding a successor is one of the most important things you will do as a LTG. If you don’t find a good successor, all of your hard work will be wasted, and that would be tragic. This is also a critical time in getting clubs to attend DCON. Make sure you stress how they should put the paperwork in now so there aren’t problems later. Also tell them about how fun, exciting and educational it is! No one will come if you don’t start talking about it now. Yours in Caring and Service,
Josie Suddeth New Jersey District Governor

“You will learn a lot of information that will help your club grow.” “Let your voice be heard during executive elections and amendment changes.” “You’ll meet other service oriented teens from across the state.” “You might be able to hold joint projects with these people you meet.” “Who wouldn’t want to spend a weekend with the 600 best high school students in NJ?” “Did you hear about the theme?” “Did you see last year’s pictures and promos for this year?” “It is right on the boardwalk!” “We have an amazing keynote speaker!” “Kacie Hines will be there!” (Don’t say this until I confirm it) “Rip Livingston will be there!” “If we break our attendance record, Governor Josie is going to do something crazy!”
Governor’s Spotlight Lieutenant Governor of Division 12 Luke McGeown is doing an awesome job! Luke has high totals for OTCs, DCMs, and club visits, and does a lot of committee work! Luke tried very hard despite initial rejection to have the Spike Out Hunger District Tournament at his school. Luke works very hard with all aspects of his job and never misses an opportunity to make someone laugh or smile, whether it be in person or in a report form! Keep up the great work!
