Battle of the Bush – AB De Villiers Golf Day
Caps off to AB for hosting an outstanding charity golf day in aid of young Brandon Menezes, a gifted and brave athelete with a wish for two prosthetic legs! As a show of support, a large gathering of sportsmen joined forces on the greens at the Pretoria Country Club. It was pleasing to see the cricketers keeping their form with the little white ball while us rugby fellas were tempted to just pick it up and run but we managed to get some decent swings in before being lured to the 19th….leaving the ‘battle’ to make our flights the next day!
