Tshwane 10s, powered by Stor-Age, explodes onto the Pretoria scene Tshwane 10s, powered by Stor-Age, launched recently in Pretoria and ignited the Capital City like no other. The sister event of the Cape Town 10s, saw firm favourites attend the inaugural sports tournament and release spectacular sporting prowess and grit both on and off the fields … rugby, netball, volleyball (yes there was a fully-fledged sand beach at Quins)

RUGBY GLAMPING FOR DADS, LADS & FRIENDS A five minute stroll was all it took each day to get to the gates of the magnificent Cape Town Stadium for the HSBC 7s being staged in 12 cities around the world. Who wouldn’t want to camp under the shadow of the Cape Town Stadium and get the ultimate rugby experience over the course of the weekend and be located at the heartbeat of the tournament. Old School Group hosted a large group of Dads, Lads and Friends to a three day weekend of Rugby, Kid’s Rugby Coaching Clinics; a Rugby Business Network (an engaging Q & A with Bob Skinstad, Rob Fleck & Rob Vickerman); a men’s grooming corner sponsored for the weekend by Sorbet Man (men’s hair and skin care is so in) and continuous coals that kept the braai and conversation turning long after the lights of the stadium turned off! The stadium was electricfying on both days, and even though South Africa didn’t get the win in the end, it was a world class weekend to remember and memories were made for a life time … particularly with the little chaps and their dads!
Thumbs up and smiles from happy campers!

Held at the majestic De Zalze Golf Estate, it was a 3 all draw after 6 rounds and forced into a final par 3 hole play-off between the two captains, Andy Skinstad and Arie Maree. The Boers took the win. The second outing always cements the rivalry and we can’t wait until the next one in 2017. The Brits will be back with reinforcements!
