HONG KONG SEVENS The Hong Kong 7s took on a whole new meaning with the recent announcement that Cape Town would be hosting their own World Rugby 7's tournament at the end of the year. The Cape Town Sevens will join a host of new and iconic venues on the Series circuit – which has already added Sydney and Vancouver to its schedule – with the full line-up of host cities and dates to be confirmed by World Rugby (formerly the IRB) in due course. Always important to do a recce even if you are the co-founder of the largest Tens Tournament in the world, Bob was part of a delegation who enjoyed meeting sporting and business associates alike and taking in the lights and sounds of Hong Kong and picking up on the heartbeat of the Sevens Tournament. Stand by Cape Town, it’s going to be big… very big!

‘Underwater’ sharks in Gansbaai were recently treated to a show and a half! Up in the cage ahead of them were Marc Lottering, Bob Skinstad, Mark McChlery, Andre Coetzer and Dan Nicholl. A fine and meaty line up!
www.base4.co.za helicopter to the dive. It was then a flight over to the gorgeous Creation Wine Farm in the picturesque Hemel en Aarde Valley for an exceptional food and wine pairing with owner Carolyn Martin.
After much splashing, yelps and “whoa did you see that” the brave contingent stepped back up on board the private www.sharkwatchsa.com charter looking every bit of the shark cage diver in their super slim wetsuits and goggles. Marc’s hair remained unfazed by the escapade!
Sharp business executives were hosted on the day and in farewell said that “no words” could express the superb day that it was!
An earlier challenge from Dan Nicholl to accompany him for a shark cage dive for an insert on the newly launched www.thedannichollshow.co.za saw the Overstrand ambassador, Bob Skinstad, take up the challenge and arranged for the small group to fly out over the magnificent Overstrand region with a
