Republic Airplane Pull
Have you ever asked yourself, “I wonder what it’s like to pull a plane?” On Saturday, April 23, we had 20 Milestone Team Members (2 teams of 10 each) step up to the challenge and answer that call. This was the first year Milestone participated in this great event, and I am sure it will not be the last. Each entry was $2,000. Our teams were challenged to collect half, and Milestone donated the other half. Each team had to pull the 24-ton aircraft across 15 feet. The fastest team won, but really the kids of Indiana were the real winners because this event raised over $600,000 for A Kid Again - Indiana

Friendship Jars
What do you get when you mix 50 pounds of flour, 58 pounds of sugar, 54 pounds of chocolate chips, 1 box of baking soda and 1 box of salt? You get a whole lot of fun. With the recent move of our Indy Office, we wanted to reach out to our new community and see what we could do to help. VA L L E Y M I L L S C H R I S T I A N C H U R C H needed the supplies to welcome 125 kiddo’s that signed up for Vacation Bible School in June. Their mission was to make ‘friendship jars” with the cookie mix. It looks like it was well received, and Tanya Henthorn with Valley Mills Christian Church said, “Thank you again so much. The kids are having a great time learning about Jesus and making friendships too!!” We were happy to help. Thanks to Sydney Roule and Michael Skaggs for helping with the delivery of the special ingredients.
Chapter, Indiana Children’s Wish Fund, Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital & Riley Hospital for Children. The event was filled with celebrities – Kristi Lee from the Bob and Tom Show served as the MC. Other well known attendees include former race car driver Al Unser Jr, former Colt Gary Bracket, Rowdy from the Indianapolis Indians, and Boomer from our Indiana Pacers, just to name a few.
