This class focuses on fitness, self-defense, and personal development. Participants will learn realistic street self-defense, how to get in shape, and make new friends. Join Texas Master Naturalist, Becky Bertoni, to learn about plants at the monarch station that could be used in your yard to attract butterflies, caterpillars, and other pollinators. Adult Soul Line Dancing

This class offers soul line dancing to Hip-Hop, R&B, Neo-Soul, Jazz, House, Zydeco, and any music other than Country or Western. Neither partners nor experience needed. CHILDREN’S PARADE

Monday, July 4 at 10 a.m. Timber Creek Elementary, 1900 Timber Creek Rd.

Line up begins at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Eaton and Timber Creek Road. Decorated bikes, trikes, wagons, and strollers will parade a short route to Leonard & Helen Johns Community Park where you will enjoy free hot dogs, drinks, children’s activities, and live entertainment. EVENING PROGRAM & FIREWORKS

Monday, July 4, 5 to 10:30 p.m. Bakersfield Park, 1201 Duncan Lane Fireworks begin at approximately 9:50 p.m.

Spend Independence Day with the Town of Flower Mound! Independence Fest 2022 will include live music featuring Le Freak and headline act Randy Rogers Band, concessions, kid’s zone, car show, lots of exhibitors, and a finished with a great fireworks show. The evening program, fireworks show, and off-site parking are FREE! The rainout date for the fireworks show only is July 5.
