Summer Reading Challenges

Oceans of Possibilities is this year’s theme for summer reading challenges at the Library. Reading is a great summer activity, and it’s a proven method to help children avoid “summer slide” of their academic skills. Fortunately, people of all ages can have fun and win prizes for reading during the summer at the Library. Four different challenges with age-appropriate prizes are offered. All challenges run June 1 through July 31. Visit one of the Library service desks or our website beginning in May for details. Challenge categories are: • Babies through PreK • Kindergarten through Grade 5 • Grades 6-12 • Adults Monday Craft Program

CREATION LAB

The Creation Lab is a place to explore your creativity and learn new skills! Patrons can reserve machines in the Creation Lab in advance, with a valid Flower Mound Public Library card. Learn how to use the Library’s Cricut machines to make a custom T-shirt. Participants will need to provide their own cotton or polyester blend t-shirt for this class. Book Club for Adults

Adult readers are invited to discuss popular titles. Choose the Monday evening or Thursday morning session. Pre-registration is not required. This program does not meet in June or July.
