Cross Timbers YMCA provides basketball and volleyball leagues for youth Pre-K through eighth grade. They offer both recreational and competitive programs in both basketball and volleyball. Basketball is offered in the winter and summer and volleyball is offered in the fall and spring.

Flower Mound Lacrosse Association

Flower Mound Lacrosse Association (FMLA) is the Town’s lacrosse provider. FMLA offers lacrosse programs for boys and girls grades 1-12. FMLA offers a spring program, February through May.

The Flower Mound Youth Sports Association (FMYSA) provides baseball and softball for youth ages 3-18 years. Recreation programs are available for all ages and select programs are open to players who are 7 years of age and older. FMYSA offers both a spring and fall season each year.

The Greater Lewisville Area Soccer Association (GLASA) provides recreational soccer opportunities for children ages U5U19 as well as a coed adult league. GLASA offers both a spring and fall soccer program to citizens living in southern Denton County.

Neighborhood Sports

Neighborhood Sports is the Town’s youth football provider and offers NFL Flag Football for boys and girls starting at age 4. Divisions are separated by each grade level and Junior High (grades 7 & 8) divisions. Seasons run in both fall and spring.

HERITAGE PARK DISC GOLF COURSE

Heritage Park • 600 Spinks Road • www.flower-mound.com/discgolf The Heritage Park Disc Golf Course is an 18-hole course designed by World Champion/Course Designer Eric McCabe with Dynamic Discs. Nestled within the woodlands of the Cross Timbers ecoregion, the course is laid out over 25 acres of some of the most scenic, natural, and undisturbed land Flower Mound has to offer. There is a wide range of tree-lined fairways, meandering creek beds, water hazards, rock outcroppings, and terrain that offers dramatic elevation changes. The course is designed for intermediate and advanced players, but can also be enjoyed by the beginner. Features include top of the line disc golf baskets, concrete tee pads, and tee yardage signs. The disc golf course is open daily from dawn to dusk (subject to closure due to maintenance, special events, and weather related conditions). Disc Golf Course Rental Opportunities

Heritage Park Disc Golf Course rentals are only available to groups and/or organizations wishing to host a tournament. Representative from group and/or organization must be at least 18 years of age or older to reserve the disc golf course. Rental applications must be made in person at the Community Activity Center during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.). Inquiries can be made up to 12 months in advance and must be submitted no later than 45 days prior to the tournament start date.
