ปั กหมุด นี่คงไม่ใช่การรวมตัวของกลุ่มศิ ลปินที่มีพื้นเพ หรือมีภูมิล�ำเนาจากภาคอีสานเหมือนกันเป็นครั้งแรก ชื่อกลุ่ม “เพชรอีสาน” แฝงนัยอารมณ์ขันเหมือนชื่อวงดนตรีหมอล�ำ มากกว่าจะอวดตัวว่าพวกเขาเป็นกลุ่มศิ ลปินระดับเพชร อันล�้ำค่า การรวมตัวแสดงงานร่วมกันในนิทรรศการ “Home/โฮม” ที่ภาษาอังกฤษแปลว่าบ้าน แต่ถ้าเป็นภาษาอีสาน จะแปลว่า การมารวมกัน เพื่อแสดงผลงานสร้างสรรค์ตามแนวทางของแต่ละคน ประหนึ่งว่าการแสดงงานครั้งนี้ เป็นการกระชับความสั มพันธ์ของศิ ลปิน ที่แม้ว่าผลงานพวกเขาจะสะท้อนเรื่องราวหรือแนวทางการสร้างงานเฉพาะ ตนแตกต่างกันไป แต่ทุกคนต่างมีประสบการณ์ร่วมในการโตขึ้นมาจากสถาบันการศึ กษาศิ ลปะที่กระจายตัวออกไป ตามภูมิภาคต่างๆ มาระยะหนึ่งที่นานพอจะท�ำให้สถาบันเหล่านั้นเริ่มอยากสลัดต้นแบบหรือแนวทางการเรียนการสอน ศิ ลปะที่ได้มาจากสถาบันที่มีชื่อเสี ยง แล้วพยายามสร้าง และใส่ ลักษณะเฉพาะทางสั งคมวัฒนธรรมของตนเองเข้าไป ในเวลาเดียวกับที่ผลงานสร้างสรรค์จากสถาบันศิ ลปะส่ วนภูมิภาคเริ่มเป็นที่ยอมรับ จนกลายเป็นความคาดหวังจาก ส่ วนกลาง ถ้าเรามองผ่านกิจกรรมการประกวดศิ ลปะซึ่งต้องมีเกณฑ์บางอย่างในการตัดสิ น และต้องยอมรับว่าการ ส่ งผลงานเข้าประกวดในเวทีต่างๆ เป็นทางเลือกส� ำคัญที่ท�ำให้ผลงานศิ ลปะของนักศึ กษาจากส่ วนภูมิภาคมีโอกาส ได้เป็นที่รู้จัก และมีส่วนช่วยให้เขาเหล่านั้นสามารถศึ กษาต่อในระดับที่สูงขึ้น และกลายเป็นศิ ลปินที่มีชื่อเสี ยงต่อไปได้ ศิ ลปินในกลุ่มเพชรอีสานทุกคนต่างเรียนรู้การสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะจากสถาบันอุดมศึ กษาในภาคอีสาน แม้บางคนจะ ได้เข้ามาเรียนต่อในกรุงเทพฯ ในระดับทีส ่ ู งขึ้น แต่ทก ุ คนก็ตา่ งมีประสบการณ์และเคยประสบความส� ำเร็จจากกิจกรรม การประกวดมาแล้ว พวกเขาเชื่อว่าก้าวต่อไปของการท�ำงานศิ ลปะคือการหาพื้นที่ในการน�ำเสนอความคิดและผลงาน ในแบบอื่นๆ ที่ไม่อยู่ภายใต้เงื่อนไข และกฏเกณฑ์การประกวดที่ศิลปินต้องค�ำนึง สิ่ งที่เรียกว่าความต่อเนื่องในการ ท�ำงานศิ ลปะก็ไม่จ�ำเป็นต้องมองผ่านรูปแบบหรือความคิดที่มีมาก่อน เช่นเดียวกับการแสดงความเป็นอีสานที่ผู้อื่น คาดหวังก็ไม่ควรเป็นกรงที่คอยขังศิ ลปินจากภาคอีสาน เพราะวันนี้อีสานก�ำลังถูกตีความใหม่ มองใหม่จากสิ่ งที่เป็น ความคิด ไม่ว่าจะเป็นวิธีการปรับรับและพลิกแพลงตัวตนตามสถานการณ์และสภาพแวดล้อม หรือการที่วัฒนธรรม อีสานมีลักษณะเป็นของชาวบ้าน “เอามาเล่นได้” หรือเอามาสร้างสรรค์ต่อได้อย่างไม่รู้จบ โดยไม่เสี่ ยงจะถูกควบคุม เหมือนที่เกิดขึ้นกับความคิดเรื่องความเป็นไทยในหลายๆ เรื่องที่มีความเป็นของสู งและศั กดิ์สิทธิ์ ผมไม่ได้คิดว่า “เพชรอีสาน” เจ้าของงานนี้จะเป็นเพชรแท้ หรือเพชรเก๊ แต่เชื่อว่าพวกเขาจะเป็นเพชรที่กลาย มาจากกรวดแร่ทางความคิด และการใช้ทุนทางวัฒนธรรมสร้างบทสนทนาที่ไม่ใช่ความฝั นและการอยากตอกย�้ำ ความขมขื่นจากเหตุการณ์ในอดีตของอีสานอีก

ความเป็นมาของกลุ่ม ”เพชรอีสาน” ก่อก�ำเนิด “เพชรอีสาน” ชื่อนี้อาจจะฟั งดูแล้วละม้ายคล้ายคลึงกับวงหมอล�ำน้องใหม่หรือไม่ ขอบอกไว้เลยว่าคุณคิดผิด ปฐมบทเกิดขึ้นจากการรวมตัวกันของ 8 ศิ ลปินรุ่นใหม่สายเลือดอีสาน 100% อันได้แก่ ถาวร ความสวัสดิ์, สุ นันทา ผาสมวงศ์ , สกล มาลี, สั นติ สี ดาราช, ปั ญญา บัวสุ ดตา, ณรงชัย ประทุมมาตย์, ธนธร สรรพกิจจ�ำนง และจารุวรรณ เมืองขวา ศิลปินเหล่านีซ ้ ่ งึ มีผลงานผ่านหูผา่ นตาในเวทีการประกวดระดับชาติและนานาชาติมาแล้ว โดยศิลปินบางคนการันตี ด้วยรางวัลมากมาย หรือศิ ลปินบางคนก็มุ่นมั่นในวิถีทางของศิ ลปินอาชีพอย่างแท้จริง ศิ ลปินบางคนอาจจะประกอบอาชีพเป็นครู อาจารย์ แม้ว่าเส้ นทางของแต่ละคนอาจจะแยกไปตามความฝั น ความชอบ ความหลงใหลเฉพาะตน แต่ทก ุ คนก็ยงั คงมุง่ มัน ่ และทุม ่ เทให้กบ ั การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะเพื่อตอบสนองต่ออารมณ์ความ รู้สึกส่ วนตนอยู่สม�่ำเสมอ จึงเกิดเป็นการรวมตัวของกลุ่มในนาม “เพชรอีสาน” เพื่อเป็นการน�ำเสนอความเป็นอัตลักษณ์ การแสดงออกเฉพาะตัวของศิ ลปินแต่ละคน ผ่านกระบวนการ เทคนิครวมถึงกลวิธีที่แตกต่างและหลากหลายภายใต้ชื่อ นิทรรศการ “โฮม/Home” The background of “E-SAN DIMOND” Here comes the existance of “Pet E-San”. This name may sound similar to or remind you of another new ordinary Mor Lam band (Northeastern-style band); however, we are sorry to tell you that you may be wrong. The prologue began from the gathering of the 8 new generation artists who are 100% E-San full blood, such as Thaworn Kwamsawat, Sunanta Phasomwong, Sakon Malee, Santi Seedarach, Panya Buasudta, Narongchai Pratummat, Thanathorn Suppakijjumnong and Jaruwan Mueangkhwa. These artists had distinguish accomplishment in the past and were experienced from the international contests. Some of these talented people are guaranteed with several winning prizes. Similarly, some of them are truly determined to pursuit and thrive in the professional career of art. Some of them are teachers and professors. Even though each one may have their own separate sets of dreams, preferences and passions, everybody shares one common interest and determination, that is the creation of art. They generally practice it in order to fulfill their personal emotions and feelings. Thus, the “Pet E-San” or “E-San Dimond” band has been formed as a representative of each artist’s unique identities. They represent it through various strategies, processes and techniques under the exhibition called “โฮม/Home”.

Which has mentioned some animals are living in the midst of the night, which are mysterious, terrifying, strange, special, or possessing some power above other animals. (Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts), Mahasarakham University When we recall Northeast local animals, we tend to think of buffaloes. Because in the past, buffaloes were normally used for farming and ploughing the rice fields, they were so important for the way of life of E-San people. However, nowadays farmers tend to use tractors instead of buffaloes, so they are less important and forgotten. As such, I employed typewriters to visualize the image of buffaloes to my works since typewriters are important for communication in the past too. But when computers were invented and widely used, typewriters are no longer used and forgotten similar to the case of buffaloes at present. เมื่อนึกถึงสั ตว์ในภาคอีสานสิ่ งแรกๆ ที่นึกถึงคือควาย ควายเป็น สั ตว์ที่อยู่กับภาคอีสานมายาวนานเป็นสั ตว์ท่ีใช้แรงงานในการเกษตร ใช้ ไถนา ในอดีตควายจึงมีความส� ำคัญอย่างมาก ปั จจุบน ั เมือ ่ รถไถนาเข้ามา แทนที่ ควายจึงหมดความส� ำคัญ จึงน�ำเครื่องพิมพ์ดีด มาพิมพ์รูปควาย เพราะมีอะไรเหมือนๆกัน เมื่อก่อนเครื่องพิมพ์ดีดก็ได้รับความนิยมอย่าง มากแต่เมือ ่ คอมพิวเตอร์เข้ามาแทนที่ เครือ ่ งพิมพ์ดด ี จึงหมดความส� ำคัญ เฉกเช่นเดียวกันกับควายในปั จจุบัน

To present works on the theme of horror and insatiability of a human by created of desires (passion) forms in beautiful shape, to make people fascinated with beauty but cover-up with fearfulness, it is just an illusion trick into the trap. For this reason, I used beautiful dew-dropped shape and hidden poison to trap insect or prey. I created the shapes, developed and adjusted them with my imagination for something strange unusual shape ผลงานศิ ลปะชุดร่างสี ด�ำกับสิ่ งที่ครอบง�ำจิตใจ สร้าง ขึ้นเพื่ อแสดงให้เห็นถึงกิเลสที่อยู่ในจิตใจของมนุษย์ โดย ถ่ า ยทอดผลงานออกมาในรู ป แบบของความน่ า กลั ว และ ความไม่รู้จักพอของมนุษย์ด้วยการสร้างรูปทรงกิเลสขึ้นมา เพื่อให้เห็นถึงรูปทรงทีส ่ วยงามแพรวพราว แต่แอบแฝงด้วย ความน่ากลัวเพื่ อเป็นสิ่ งที่ล่อตาล่อใจให้หลงใหลในรูปร่างที่ สวยงาม แต่ความสวยงามนั้นมันก็แค่ภาพลวงตาที่หลอกให้ เข้าไปติดกับดัก จึงใช้ลก ั ษณะรูปทรงของต้นหยาดน�้ำค้าง ทีม ่ ี ความสวยงามในตัวของมัน แต่ซ่อนพิษร้ายเอาไว้ เพื่อดักจับ เหยือ ่ ข้าพเจ้าจึงน�ำรูปทรงมาพัฒนา โดยใช้จน ิ ตนาการเข้าไป ในรูปทรงปรับเปลี่ยนให้เกิดเป็นรูปทรงที่มีความแปลกใหม่

Work experiences ■ 2016 - Present : Lecturer at Program in Visual Arts, Faculty of Humamities and Social Sciences, Ubonratchathani Rajabhat University, Ubonratchathani, Thailand For me, art is like “mental therapy”. The state of suffering is the work that reflects my personal attitude toward my traumatic experiences in the past such as separating from my beloved ones for a long time. Emotions are transferred through the visual element “lines” which swirl and overlap with one another as if they were relationships tied down to feelings tightly. This results in a variety of shapes of human organs which look as if they were strong but actually fragile and changeable regarding emotions and feelings. I call such things “suffering”. However, whenever I create this art work, I get the pure feeling of happiness and relaxation. Therefore, art, in my view, is the power. It’s the power of mental therapy that can change sorrow into happiness, the Power of Art Unleashed.
