Sumook Art Workshop in Haenam & Exhibition
Haenam Exchange Ink Painting Workshop
Lee Seungmi (Haengchon Cultural Art Foundation CEO) Haenam Exchange Ink Painting Workshop was held in Haenam for 10 days this event with Thailand Artists and Korean Artists. The ink workshop was centered on producing the strong ink-smelling ink paintings on-site as a painters’ workshop should be. In addition the emphasis was placed on the experimental nature and scalability. The summary is as follows. 1. Form moving the art to moving the artist 2. Work production on site 3. Communication with various visitor by opening the overall production process to the public during the workshop period. 4. An attempt at the future possibility of ink with creative experiment and new modeling 5. Desirable public-private collaboration. Therefore, the director selects the artist to be invited to the exhibition.
