AN IDEAL WEEK IN FARGOMOORHEAD WITH OUR EDITORS! Outdoorsy and athletic folks would enjoy spending a week in Brady’s shoes. Brady’s ideal day starts with a pre-work run and stretch, with time to hit the sauna and take a cold shower. His morning routine also includes eating a giant, healthy breakfast and drinking a ton of green tea. While getting ready and commuting, he typically listens to an audiobook or a podcast to stay relaxed and ready for the busy day ahead. On the way to work, if he has time, he’ll stop for a matcha latte at his favorite coffee shop, Youngblood Coffee. For lunch, he spices things up (literally) with some Himalayan Yak. After work, he invites his coworkers to Fargo Billiards and Gastropub in South Fargo, as he is a big fan of the various games they offer. At the end of the week, Buffalo State Park is his go-to spot to spend time and bond with friends. On the weekend, his favorite activities include checking out events going on at Broadway Square, going to the Red River Zoo to hang out with their animals, and grabbing an Egg of the Day and The Daily Greens at BernBaum’s. Most of all, he enjoys spending time outdoors and enjoying nature while the weather is nice!

Creative and curious people will love Geneva’s ideal week. Geneva always starts her day with a cup of coffee and singing along to a banger. Though she wouldn’t dare choose a favorite song, most mornings she will be found belting out a track from Taylor Swift’s album “1989.” On her way to work, she’ll swing into Youngblood Coffee for a Brown Sugar Oat Milk Latte. Then at lunch, she’ll pick up whatever is on the day’s menu at Cracked Pepper and stop by The Silver Lining Creamery for some dessert. After work, she’ll invite coworkers to Wild Terra for a delicious, locally brewed cider. On the weekends, Geneva likes to spend time checking out local events, shopping at local vendor markets, and going to concerts with her friends—one of her go-to venues is the Aquarium above Dempsey’s in downtown Fargo! If she’s looking for a family-friendly place to go with her friends or family members that have kids, she goes to Five Below. As the weekend is winding down, she’ll go to BernBaum’s, where she might run into Brady! Geneva can be found supporting local artists and businesses all around the Fargo-Moorhead community often.

Imaginative and adventurous thrill-seekers would enjoy Josiah’s ideal week in Fargo-Moorhead. Josiah starts his day by cooking up a big breakfast of waffles, eggs, and fresh berries while watching Good Mythical Morning. On his commute, his morning hype-up song is "Not Dead Yet" by Lord Huron—but not before brewing a fresh cup of locally-made tea from Kanji Naturals. While he loves cooking, an ideal day would find him at Mahana Fresh for a nutrient-packed lunch and at the Moorhead Dairy Queen for some ice cream and nostalgia before returning to work. Though he doesn’t drink, Josiah might invite his coworkers to Junkyard Brewing after work just for the atmosphere and good food nearby. On the weekends, you could find Josiah at the races at North Dakota Horse Park or the Red River Valley Speedway with friends or catching a good movie at the Fargo Theater. To top off the wonderful week, he would grab brunch at the Black Coffee & Waffle Bar or Bernbaum’s in Fargo! You’re sure to see Josiah taking photographs of all of his adventures to document the memories.
