LECTURE 9: Portfolio
Tutorial content: Pin-up of M4 [1.5h]. Discuss M5: Portfolio task [0.5h].
Introduction: In this module you will be making touch-ups to your existing work based on the feedback provided throughout semester. You will then curate this work in a portfolio document.

CHECKLIST
1. Download the Portfolio InDesign Template file from the LMS. 2. Go through the example portfolios from previous semesters on the LMS in the M5 folder. PLEASE NOTE: Modules have changed since previous semesters and portfolio requirements have changed. Use the previous student work and precedent samples for graphic inspiration only. 3. Finalise all Module presentation work for portfolio. Bring any reworked modules to Studio 2 Week 12 to show to your tutor. You should also bring any previous work that you would like to improve. 4. Start working on your Portfolio and placing your work into the template. Adjustments to the graphic layout of the portfolio can be made. Content that needs to be included cannot be less than the template.

WEEK 12 FRIDAY
Tutorial Content: Tutor to look through work and provide feedback [1.75h]. SES survey to be completed in class. Tutor to set this up and leave room while survey is being completed. [0.25h]
STUDIO 2
PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENT You will need to compile M1, M2, M3 and M4 work into the InDesign template. The portfolio will need to be exported as a PDF and uploaded onto Turn It In on the LMS. This will form the final hurdle assessment worth 25%. You have the opportunity to improve your work, take new photographs of your models during the swot vac period and include this into your final portfolio. M5 RUBRIC WHAT IS A COMPLETE SUBMISSION FOR M5: Portfolio? A complete submission for Module 05 consists of: - Portfolio Exported from InDesign as a PDF and uploaded to Turn It In. PORTFOLIO SUBMISSION IS A HURDLE REQUIREMENT

As P, plus the portfolio is well formatted, layout is balanced and composed. Format is clean, with minor fault and mistakes in spelling, text or image alignment. Contents, which includes drawings and photographs of physical model from M1, M2, M3 and M4 is well presented.
Sustained engagement and rigorous work quality evident throughout M1,M2,M3 and M4. Greater improvements to previous work if applicable.

Student has compiled and submitted a portfolio in PDF format to Turn It In.
