ACROS FUKUOKA ACROS Fukuoka is a world-class example of green architecture. From behind the building, the park appears to extend up 14 stories to rooftop level. Visitors can take one of two stairways through the thickly forested Step Garden, which is home to 50,000 plants and trees spanning 120 varieties. Weather permitting, fine views of the city can be enjoyed from the rooftop observation deck. To climb and descend the 809 steps takes about 30 minutes. Along the way there are benches in case a rest is needed. If you’re not up for the trek, you can also just admire the view from the park.

Founded in Portland, Oregon in 1953, the Original Pancake House’s latest franchise has opened in Fukuoka. The company, which set itself apart by offering German-style oven-baked pancakes, has since grown to encompass 129 stores in the U.S. and several overseas. The signature Dutch baby is an oven-baked pancake served with whipped butter, lemon and powdered sugar (your server adds these toppings at the table). You can also enjoy American favorites like the apple and cinnamon-packed apple pancake and Three Little Pigs in Blankets—three sausages individually wrapped in fluffy pancakes.

FUKUOKA - THE NOODLE CITY ARIYOSHI SHOTEN Located on a backstreet off Watanabedori, Ariyoshi Shoten is popular for Hakata Tantanmen - an original twist on the spicy noodle dish from China. Instead of a clear chicken-based soup, the shop uses tonkotsu (pork bone) broth, and the noodles are flavored with a homemade ground sesame sauce, instead of the standard Chinese sesame paste. The soup also includes a dash of vinegar to add to the flavor and stimulate the palate. If you want to try a different noodle dish, there are seven available, including the Healthy Tantanmen with soup made from Itoshima-raised chicken and topped with mizuna (Japanese mustard greens) and lettuce. Every ingredient has been carefully selected by the eponymous owner. The a la carte menu expands in the evening, and includes three flavors of karaage (fried chicken) and boiled shrimp dumplings. So, feel free to stop by for a drink and a snack, but we suggest you round out the evening Fukuoka style with a bowl of noodles!

從渡邊路到隔條路裡的「有吉商店」 ，是超 人氣擔仔麵店。由福岡發源的豚骨拉麵及擔 仔麵結合成「博多擔仔麵」與在中華料理店 中提供的擔仔麵明顯不同。 「有吉商店」使 用豬的頭骨或腿骨熬煮 10 小時的白濃湯當 底，用自家製芝麻醬 來讓湯頭的味 道 更 上 層 樓 ；再 加 入少量的 醋， 能 挑 起食慾，使 湯頭鮮美留下 爽快的口感。在湯、 麵、食材之間取得均衡的堅持 下，店裡用系島招牌「萬步雞」熬出高湯來 搭配水菜、美生菜來搭配各具特色的七種健 康擔仔麵。另外有蔥花醬油、奶油蔥花、山 椒鹽三種佐料可以選擇的炸雞、蝦仁水餃等 的下酒菜。小酌或正餐都十分推薦。

와 타 나 베도 오리에 위치한 아 리요 시 쇼텐. 후쿠오카가 발상지인 돈코츠 라멘과 탄탄멘을 융합한 하카타 탄탄멘이 간판메뉴로 중화요리점에서 맛볼 수 있는 탄 탄 멘과 는 차원이 다르다. 일반적으로 탄탄멘은 닭 뼈로 낸 육수를 사용하는 것이 정석인데 아 리요 시 쇼텐에 서는 돼 지 머리뼈와 넓적다 리뼈를 약 10시간 고아서 만든 돼지 뼈 100%짜리 뽀얀 육수를 사용한다. 중 국 조미료 마 장 대신 직접 만든 소스를 사용함으로써 진하면서도 담백한 맛 의 탄 탄 멘 을 만 들 어 낸 다. 헬 씨 탄 탄 멘 등 면 메뉴 는 총 7종 류. 이 외에도 닭튀김 카라아게(파 소스 맛/파 마요네즈 맛/산초 맛), 작은 새우 한 마리가 통째로 들어간 물만두 등 술 안주로 딱인 메뉴도 있다. 가볍게 술자리를 즐긴 후 면으로 마무리해도 좋겠다.

etween the shopping mecca of Tenjin and the entertainment district of Nakasu, you will find Nishi-nakasu, which is home to a handful of popular, chic eateries. With a spacious modern Japanese interior and friendly staff, Hakata Hotaru prides itself on making dishes using local ingredients and pairing them with locally made sake or domestic wine. Start with an appetizer tray and soak up the atmosphere before you move to your main dish. The local favorite, goma saba, comes with the sesame dressing on the side because you’ll want to savor the fresh mackerel before you decide to add dressing. Hakata Hotaru’s pride and joy, however, is warayaki (cuisine seared in a straw fire), which uses rice straw from Itoshima. The menu includes the warayaki sampler, with maguro (tuna), seasonal fish and Hakata’s own mentaiko (spicy cod roe), and the hobayaki, seared high-grade Meishan pork flavored with sansho miso served on a large dry leaf. But no matter what you choose, a night at Hakata Hotaru is sure to please.

6/4 (Sat.), 6/5 (Sun.) YOBUKO BIG TUG OF WAR
This 420-year-old event is a tug of war between teams of Yobuko citizens using a 200-meter-long rope. A land team win means a good harvest, while a beach team win means a good catch. Everyone is welcome to join in (it’s best out of three)! The main event is on Jun. 5, and the children’s version is on Jun. 4. 呼子大綱引

在 420 年前豐臣秀吉於名護屋城佈陣時，為了提升將兵的士氣而進 行的拔河比賽。在每年的六月第一個周末舉行，使用直徑 15 公分、 長 200 公尺的大繩，分成岡組和濱組進行三回合對抗。相傳濱組獲 勝代表漁獲豐富，岡組獲勝則農作大豐收。可以現場報名。
요부코 줄다리기
42 0 여 년의 역사 를 자 랑 하 는 줄 다 리기 행사. 매년 6월 첫째 토・일요일에 개최되며 직경 1 5 c m , 길이 2 0 0 m 나 되는 밧 줄 을 사용한다. 3번의 승부 끝에 하마구미(浜組)가 이기면 풍어(豐漁), 오카구미(岡組)가 이기면 풍작이라고. 당일 참가 가능.

Since 1998, Nicolai Bergmann, a Danish floral artist, has produced art combining European techniques with ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement). For this event, around 100 of his contemporary works are displayed in specially made vases at three shrines, the most famous of which is Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. NICOLAI · BERGMANN 個展『新花 -SHINKA-』
來自丹麥的花卉藝術者 Nicolai · Bergmann，於 1998 年嘗試將北 歐及日本的細膩感結合成插花創作獲得好評。在太宰府天滿宮裡使 用現代插花藝術配合漆器瓷器的原創花瓶展示會，多達 100 種新作 品 ；寶滿宮龜門神社及志賀海神社也同時舉辦喔。

덴마크 출신 플라워 아티스트 니콜라이 버그만. 북유럽과 일본의 섬세한 감성을 융합한 독자적인 플라워 디자인으로 인기를 끌었다. 칠기와 도기 등 오리지널 화기를 사용한 신작 100여 점을 전시. 호만구 카마도 신사와 시카우미 신사에서도 동시 개최된다.

Shiraito Falls is located in the scenic foothills of Itoshima. Considered sacred by some, this spot is busy throughout summer; the start of the season is celebrated with somen nagashi (noodle catching, all-you-can-eat) and mochi maki (rice-cake tossing). 專屬夏天的避暑勝地，也是放鬆身心的好地方 - 白系瀑布。每年 6 月的第二個星期六會舉行開放儀式 ；由神官祈求平安、發放年糕、 放生鮭魚及流水麵吃到飽等活動（一人 500 日圓） 。白系瀑布附近有 觀賞繡球花的名所，會在 6 月最後的星期日舉辦繡球花祭典活動。
시라이토 폭포 개장식
이 토 시 마 의 명 소 시라 이토 폭 포 . 매 년 6 월 둘째 토 요일에 폭 포 개장식이 열린다. 산천어 방류, 소멘나가시(떠내려오는 소면을 건져 먹는 것) 등을 즐길 수 있다. 폭포 주변에는 수국 약 5천 그루가 심어져 있으며 6월 마지막 주 일요일에는 수국 축제도 열린다.
