STEREO COFFEE Stereo Coffee is a delightful independent coffee shop located off Watanabe-dori. The coffee is reason enough to visit and is handmade to your specification, with a wide selection of beans to choose from and beautiful latte options. The shop is arranged around two whopping JBL4344 speakers where customers can gather to soak up the “Stereo” lifestyle. On rotation is a selection of music curated by the well respected local DJ, and co-owner, Yusuke Watanabe. CAFE KOTANI SAKETEN In business for 65 years, Kotani Saketen is a Daimyo based kakuuchi - a liquor shop that lets you drink what you’ve bought right in the store. You can enjoy 20-plus types of shochu and sake, at up to half the price of a bar! According to owner Masahiro Kotani, lower prices means product turnover is higher, so you can enjoy your libations at their freshest. Kotani, a travel buff, studied for two years in Australia. Fascinated by pub culture there, he decided on his return to switch the family shop’s layout to a kakuuchi - making it a good place for a quick stop before a night out.
Stereo Coffee
對習慣晚起的福岡而言，在渡邊通難得有家上午八點營業的獨立咖 啡店。正如店名一樣，店裡自豪的就是那 2 台，撥放著人氣 DJ 渡邊 雄介音樂的 JBL4344 大型喇叭。店長松崎先生發想了「音響咖啡」 這個吸引人潮的點子後，便與三位同好合開這家咖啡廳。店裡提供 自選豆子的手沖咖啡，或是義式濃縮咖啡，拿鐵類飲品還可以隨個 人喜好調整口味。2 樓是最近流行的展演空間，想找話題或交流的話 也上來看看吧。
스테레오 커피
아침이 늦게 시작되는 후쿠오카에서는 좀처럼 찾아보기 힘든 아침 8시에 개점하는 커피 스탠드 스테레오 커피. 이름 그대로 스테레오가 자랑거리이다. 小谷酒舗
在酒店裡隨意的站立著飲酒稱為「角打」 ，在大名地區的中心，營 業 65 年以上的小谷酒舖提供 23 種燒酎、26~27 種的日本酒。 「提 供好喝但便宜的酒正是酒屋的強項」小谷昌弘店長這麼說。將澳洲 酒吧的氣氛帶進了自己的店中，調整營業時間與結帳方式，讓酒客 可以輕鬆品嘗美酒。在現場先點杯酒來嚐嚐，當做挑選酒水伴手禮 的方式也很好。小酌之後再到下一間店去， 正是「角打」的樂趣所在。
코타니 사케텐
주류 판매장 내에서 서서 술을 마시는 것을 카쿠우치라고 한다. 65년 전부터 다이묘를 지켜온 코타니 슈호도 소주 23종, 사케 26~27종 외 각종 술을 즐길 수 있는 카쿠우치이다. 술값은 놀랍게도 이자카야나 바의 절반 가격. 가격이 저렴해 회전율이 올라가고 그 덕분에 손님들은 신선한 상태의 술을 맛볼 수 있다는 선순환이 이루어지고 있다고. 가게 내의 전 상품은 구매 가능하며 물론 그 자리에서 바로 맛볼 수도 있다. 카쿠우치는 오랫동안 앉아있는 곳은 아니므로 먹거리는 간단한 안주류뿐이니 참고로 하시길. 小谷酒舗 Kotani Saketen 1-11-13-1F Daimyo, Chuo-ku 10:00~23:00 (L.O.: 22:45); Sat.: ~21:00 Closed: Sundays 092-741-2924

MENDO HANAMOKOSHI When Mendo Hanamokoshi opened in Fukuoka, it caused a big stir on the ramen scene. The shop’s owner, Norihiro Hirohata, took Fukuoka’s famous pork-based tonkotsu ramen and turned it on its head, creating a chicken-based ramen known as tori paitan. The flavour of the soup is unlike any ramen you’ll have had before, extraordinarily rich and more akin to a western gravy than the pork creations found at tonkotsu ramen shops. While the number of tori paitan restaurants in Fukuoka has increased in recent years, Hanamokoshi reigns supreme, with daily lines outside the shop. From the soup to the noodles to the chicken char siu, Norihiro Hirohata prepares everything himself, and limits the number of bowls of his ramen to just 40 a day. At lunch, try tokusei tanrei tori shio soba, soup-less soba with chicken char siu, and at dinner tori tsuke soba: noodles with a rich, chickenbased dipping sauce. 麵道 Hanamokoshi
位於福岡市藥院的「麺道 Hanamokoshi」 ，招牌高 掛「雞白湯」 ，是在豚骨拉麵為主流的福岡中投下 震撼彈的新星。只有雞高湯才有的溫和滑順，是店 長広畑典大先生參考「水炊鍋」後創出的獨門料理。 雖然附趨者眾，但是堅持用福岡的銘柄雞・華味鳥 熬煮的高湯，使濃郁的風味不同一般 ；並搭配店內 自製麵條，隨著菜單上面的餐點來改變素材的使用 與湯搭配。另外還有雞白湯和魚介調合的「濃厚雞 拉麵」 ，夜晚限定的濃香「雞沾麵」 、還有低溫熟成 的雞叉燒加上特製配料的「特製淡麗雞塩拉麵」 。因 為一人作業，為了確保品質，每日只提供至多 40 碗。

후쿠오카시 야쿠인에 위치한 멘도 하나모코시는 토리파이탄을 주력 메뉴로 내세우며 돈코츠 중심의 후쿠오카 라면계에 새로운 바람을 몰고 온 가게이다. 토리파이탄은 오너 히로하타씨가 미즈타 키에서 힌트를 얻어 고안해낸 스 프 로 닭 특 유의 부드러운 맛이 특징. 후쿠오카의 브랜드 닭 하나미도리의 뼈를 듬뿍 사용해 끓여낸 스프는 감칠맛이 제대로 응축되어있다. 면은 제면기로 직접 만드는데 메뉴에 맞춰 식감, 풍미, 스프와의 궁합을 고려해 재료나 배합을 바꾸기도 하는 등 정성을 기울인다고. 사전 준비를 포함한 모든 작업을 혼자서 해야 하므로 하루에 많아도 40그릇 정도밖에 제공하질 못한다고 하니 개점 직후에 찾아가는 것이 좋을 듯하다. 새로운 감각의 후쿠오카 라멘을 꼭 한번 맛보시길.

ISHIDOBASHI SHIRATSUGU An oasis amid the bustle of the city, Ishidobashi S hir at sugu is a coz y J a p a n e s e r e s t a u r a nt nes tled amongs t the temples in a district not far from Hakata Station. The youthful owner, Shiratsugu, opened his shop in Fukuoka eight years ago after honing his culinary chops in Tokyo, Kyoto and Australia. His primary focus is on local ingredients: he visits the markets every morning to select fresh fish and produce. Shiratsugu offers carefully prepared seasonal delights, giving you the full washoku (Japanese cuisine) experience from the time you sit down until your last cup of green tea. New to washoku? We recommend the weekday lunch menu consisting of four appetizers plus rice, miso soup and your choice of main. The whole menu costs only ¥1,800 if you choose tempura and is meant to be finished in about an hour. If you are looking for something a little more elaborate, you can choose a dinner course based on your budget and preferences. All meals are best enjoyed with a drop of sake or shochu.

세츠분 축제
세츠분은 입춘 하루 전날을 뜻한다. 이날에는 잡귀는 내쫓고 복은 불러오기 위해 콩을 뿌리는데 행사가 11시부터 1시간마다 열리는데 이때 뿌려지는 콩주머니 중에는 호화 경품 교환권이 들어있는 것도 있다고. 매년 많은 참배객들이 복을 찾아 방문하는 신사를 찾아보자.

A striking series of performances starring Ennosuke Ichikawa, a revered Japanese kabuki actor. 1. Otoko no Hanamichi A kabuki masterpiece that tells the tale of a friendship between a famous Edo-period actor and a doctor. 2. Hadesugata Omodaka Matsuri A festival of brilliant traditional dance, befitting the play’s title.
Yukinojo Henge A striking performance starring Ichikawa Ennosuke, a vivacious kabuki actor, who plays both male and female roles. The play was written in the 1930s and is revived with aerial stunts. It follows the life of Yukinojo who, following his parents’ deaths, wanders Japan as an actor, all the while plotting to avenge them.
