JOJIMA & SAKE
In terms of sake popularity, Jojima is right up there with Hyogo’s Nada, Kyoto’s Fushimi, and Hiroshima’s Saijo. Blessed with the abundant waters of Chikugo River, excellent large grain local rice, fragrant Hita cedar trees, and the heartfelt passion and skill of Mizuma brewers, Jojima is an ideal place for brewing sake since the olden times. Even today, each sake brewery continues to make their own unique, original sake.
