ienvenido a Miami! Affectionately known as "The Magic City", Miami has a well-deserved reputation as a premier travel destination. Presenting a wide selection of accommodations ranging from quaint bed and breakfasts to fullservice resorts, all are eager to make this your most memorable vacation ever. Famous for its vibrant and exotic clubs, bars and clientele, the nightlife here is beyond comparison. Venues regularly promote theme nights and live shows not to mention it's a regular stop on the party circuit. Fill your days exploring the city that seems to have an endless supply of culture, or enjoy outdoor activities to achieve the perfect Florida tan. Lay out in the warm sun, take a helicopter tour of Miami Beach or go para-sailing to get an unforgettable view. Head back to the mainland and take a trolley tour that winds from the Bayside Marketplace along Biscayne Bay down to Coconut Grove. Don't forget the shopping! Miami offers everything from boutiques and souvenir shops to high-end retail stores. Lincoln Road, South Beach is not to be missed! Then spend an evening at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, a stunning new performing arts venue, presenting shows of Broadway caliber and musical acts from around the globe. Dining here is indeed a memorable experience. A result of the multi-cultural population, flavors and feasts from around the world are all available to tempt your taste buds. Kosher, Cuban, Chinese, Italian or Pacific Rim... all flavored with a touch of "Miami Spice". No visit would be complete without a trip to Miami Beach's Art Deco district aka South Beach. Here you'll find a collection of eclectic architecture, resorts, cafes, bars and clubs. Beautiful people are everywhere, especially along Ocean Drive (where people watching is the official sport) and all are anxious to show you a warm welcome to their little piece of paradise. Pack for a day, or even a week but whatever you do, pack for sunshine and enjoy all that Miami and it's beaches have to offer!

Getting Here By Air: Miami is served by two airports, Miami International (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International (FLL). Miami International is one of the largest airports in the world and an important hub for traffic between North America and Latin America. American Airlines is MIA’s major carrier. Fort Lauderdale International is further from Miami and is a much smaller and less trafficked airport. FLL is host to Southwest Airlines, Jet Blue and other low-cost carriers that often offer better domestic fares than MIA. Check flights to both airports before booking your flight while also considering ground transportation. Fort Lauderdale is 25-40 minutes north of Miami by car and a taxi can run you up to $65.

By Car: Three main highways lead to Miami. I-95 extends south along the Atlantic coast of Florida and terminates in Miami. U.S. Highway 1 provides access from the Florida Keys to the south of Miami and I-75 cuts in from the west and Florida’s Gulf coast.

ining in Miami and it’s beaches is a tantalizing treat for all your senses. Whether it’s a “New York Style” deli sandwich, a Cuban enchilada or a 5-star experience, you want it you got it. Outdoor dining options are available at most restaurants and the weather is almost always cooperative. Umbrellas dot the scene to ensure shade from the sun while attentive waiters serve up your dish de jour with a smile. The Palace, located at the center of South Beach’s Art Deco District, is a restaurant and bar with a large patio and tables overlooking Ocean Drive and the beautiful beachfront. There are the standard mouth-watering burgers, mojitos and frozen margaritas to satisfy the basic needs of beach-goers, but the Palace offers much more. There is a full line-up drag shows, DJs, T-dances, Latin Fire Nights (with Go Go dancers) and other fun events to make any trip to the Palace a true party. The people watching alone along Ocean Drive is usually enough to keep men and women alike entertained, enjoy! Da Leo Trattoria - at the helm of Lincoln Road’s dining scene. Boasting the largest outdoor dining terrace with the honor of being the road’s first restaurant is a hit lasting 16 years. The cuisine is authentic Tuscan Italian with everchanging specials & regional dishes. The Staff is mostly the same as day one. The secret to their success? Good food, reasonable prices, great service and terrific atmosphere. Emphasis on freshness is king here. Da Leo Trattoria serving traditional old-world Italian cuisine. A true taste of Tuscany! Welcome to Key West Greetings... from the Key West Business Guild Whether it’s called the Conch Republic, Cayo Hueso, Bone Island, or the Southernmost City, Key West is known as paradise to well over 500,000 gay and lesbian tourists who visit the island each year. Imagine a subtropical island glowing with the rainbow colors of bougainvillea, royal poinciana, and hibiscus blooms, where the year around average temperature is in the high 70’s. Here two turquoise bodies of water – the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico – lap the shore. From its gay and lesbian nightlife, accommodations and events- to its welcoming community, liveand-let-live, “come as you are” attitude- Key West is internationally acclaimed as a top gay and lesbian destination. While it is no secret that Key West knows how to throw a party, the island loves to play host to gay and lesbian tourists during our numerous events which attract thousands. While other destinations actively discourage spring breakers, Key West's Gay Spring Break brings a large crowd of younger gay men and lesbians who want to enjoy the annual ritual in an environment in which they can safely be themselves. Pridefest (June) is a celebration of Key West's open community. Tropical Heat (August) is a steamy four day event for gay men. Womenfest (September) attracts up to 5,000 women each year and features over a week of events. Bone Island Bare It All Weekends have become South Florida's largest naturist gatherings for gay men, and BearFest leaves its hibernation in mid September. Every October, between 50,000 and 80,000 visitors party in the streets and nightspots of Key West during Fantasyfest. 30

Liberal, civilized, and sophisticated, Key West has a gay police chief and openly gay law enforcement officials who protect the rights of residents and visitors regardless of race, age, gender or sexual orientation. Key West was the first city in the United States to elect an openly gay mayor; a variety of other high-profile elected and appointed civic positions — from city and county commissioner to chamber of commerce president — have been and are held by gays and lesbians. The rainbow flag stands alongside the American flag in the city commission chambers, and the city’s official motto is One Human Family, proclaiming equality and acceptance for all people. For gay and lesbian visitors, Key West is a place to be open and relaxed. It’s a venue to make new friends, to dress up or dress down, or just wear a dress. It’s a place to play from dawn to dusk or luxuriate in laziness. Above all, it’s a prime destination to enjoy carefree days and nights on an irresistible, accepting tropical island unlike any other. I look forward to meeting you and your friends on your next visit! Key West – Close to Perfect – Far from Normal
