ienvenido a Miami! Affectionately known as "The Magic City", Miami has a well-deserved reputation as a premier travel destination. Presenting a wide selection of accommodations ranging from quaint bed and breakfasts to fullservice resorts, all are eager to make this your most memorable vacation ever. Famous for its vibrant and exotic clubs, bars and clientele, the nightlife here is beyond comparison. Venues regularly promote theme nights and live shows not to mention it's a regular stop on the party circuit. Fill your days exploring the city that seems to have an endless supply of culture, or enjoy outdoor activities to achieve the perfect Florida tan. Lay out in the warm sun, take a helicopter tour of Miami Beach or go para-sailing to get an unforgettable view. Head back to the mainland and take a trolley tour that winds from the Bayside Marketplace along Biscayne Bay down to Coconut Grove. Don't forget the shopping! Miami offers everything from boutiques and souvenir shops to high-end retail stores. Lincoln Road, South Beach is not to be missed! Then spend an evening at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, a stunning new performing arts venue, presenting shows of Broadway caliber and musical acts from around the globe. Dining here is indeed a memorable experience. A result of the multi-cultural population, flavors and feasts from around the world are all available to tempt your taste buds. Kosher, Cuban, Chinese, Italian or Pacific Rim... all flavored with a touch of "Miami Spice". No visit would be complete without a trip to Miami Beach's Art Deco district aka South Beach. Here you'll find a collection of eclectic architecture, resorts, cafes, bars and clubs. Beautiful people are everywhere, especially along Ocean Drive (where people watching is the official sport) and all are anxious to show you a warm welcome to their little piece of paradise. Pack for a day, or even a week but whatever you do, pack for sunshine and enjoy all that Miami and it's beaches have to offer!

Getting Here By Air: Miami is served by two airports, Miami International (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International (FLL). Miami International is one of the largest airports in the world and an important hub for traffic between North America and Latin America. American Airlines is MIA’s major carrier. Fort Lauderdale International is further from Miami and is a much smaller and less trafficked airport. FLL is host to Southwest Airlines, Jet Blue and other low-cost carriers that often offer better domestic fares than MIA. Check flights to both airports before booking your flight while also considering ground transportation. Fort Lauderdale is 25-40 minutes north of Miami by car and a taxi can run you up to $65.
By Rail: Amtrak serves Miami frequently from Central Florida and Northeastern US with several daily trains. Check Amtrak.com or 800-USA-RAIL for schedule and fares.
By Car:

Three main highways lead to Miami. I-95 extends south along the Atlantic coast of Florida and terminates in Miami. U.S. Highway 1 provides access from the Florida Keys to the south of Miami and I-75 cuts in from the west and Florida’s Gulf coast. 6

olorful Key West is one of America's true architectural and botanical treasures. On even the tiniest lanes, the locals have faithfully restored old wooden homes and adorned them with lush tropical trees and flowers. New restaurants and stores are popping up in the historic Bahama Village neighborhood, which was settled in the 19th Century by Bahamian immigrants. Hemingway loved coming here to mix with the hard-working locals at boxing matches and arm-wrestling contests. The islands seafaring tradition lives on at the renovated Historic Seaport district, known locally as the Key West Bight. Dozens of shrimp boats once called this harbor home. These days, "the Bight" is a popular place to arrange a day on the water, whether you are a diver, snorkler, fisherman or eco-tourist. Others come just to stroll along the harbor walk or dine at one of the many restaurants.
