AFRICAN ELEPHANT My favourite endangered animal is the African elephant. They live in Africa. They are easily recognized by their trunk that is used for communication and handling objects.
They eat roots, grass, fruit, and bark, and they eat a lot of these things. And adult elephants can consume up to 300 pounds of food in a single day.
ARTIC FOX My favourite endangered animal is the Artic Fox. They live in in the colder parts of Canada, Alaska, Northern Asia and Europe. They have got white hair and small ears. They eat birds and fish.

JAGUAR My favourite endangered animal is the jaguar. They live in America. They are orange, with black spots.
They eat meat. They are endangered because of hunting, poaching and hurricanes. There are less than 4,000 today.
ORANGUTAN My favourite endangered animal is the Orangutan. They live in Borneo, Sumatra and in Tapanuli. The males and females differ in size and appearance. Their favourite food is wild fruits.
They are endangered because of hunting and poaching and loss of habitat. There are about 104,700 in Borneo, 13,846 in Sumatra and 800 in Tapanuli today.
Tree Kangaroo My favourite endangered animal is the Tree Kangaroo. They live in lowland and mountainous rainforests in Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and the far north of Queensland, Australia. They have got shorter legs and stronger forelimbs for climbing. They weight up to 32 pounds. Their favourite food is mostly leaves and fruit.
They are endangered because of hunting.
