In questi giorni lo staff tecnico del gruppo SBF-VISA ha ultimato i test di collaudo del nuovissimo Panoramic Coaster, un ottovolante family che dà emozioni simili a quelle di una monorotaia panoramica. The version being tested, made for an indoor theme park in Qatar, has a footprint of 141x53m, a climb that reaches 13.5 meters and a single loading/unloading station. Panoramic Coaster is however suitable for outdoor venues too. Depending on the location, 2 loading/ unloading stations can also be designed, which, for the safety of the riders, are managed by a software integrated with that managing the ride operation. The coaster’s footprint and height are fully customizable to suit the needs of each individual client. n

La versione in collaudo, destinata a un parco indoor in Qatar, ha una base di 141x53m, una salita iniziale che raggiunge i 13,5 metri e una stazione unica di imbarco/sbarco. L’attrazione si presta però anche a location outdoor, e a seconda dello scenario in cui va a collocarsi è possibile anche progettare due stazioni per la salita e discesa dei rider che, per la sicurezza dell’attrazione, vengono gestite da un software integrato a quello del funzionamento della giostra. Le dimensioni sia della base che dell’altezza possono essere modificate in base alle esigenze del singolo cliente.

SEAWORLD ABU DHABI NEARING COMPLETION

The construction of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi on Yas Island is progressing significantly according to developers Miral and SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. The mega marine-life park, which is now 64% complete and on track for completion in 2022, is set to be home to the world's largest and most expansive marine-life aquarium, containing 25 million litres of water and housing more than 68,000 marine animals, including sharks, fish, manta rays and sea turtles. A highlight of the aquarium will be the Endless Vista, an impressive 20m tall vertical window across multiple levels revealing stunning aquatic scenes. Moreover, guests will be encouraged to explore the underwater environments via immersive storytelling techniques and the latest cutting-edge technologies, further deepening an appreciation and understanding of ocean life. Adjacent to the aquarium, the Yas SeaWorld Research and Rescue Center will be the first of its kind in the UAE. The facility will integrate with SeaWorld's ongoing efforts related to research, rescue, conservation, and education, also demonstrating the work from resident scientists and researchers, and offering tailored educational learning programs for both local and international visitors. This is another major addition to Yas Island’s existing immersive experiences and attractions, and a testament to achieving our vision of positioning the island as a top global tourism destination for residents and visitors alike.” The new 183,000sq.m development joins Yas Island’s existing world-class attractions of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and CLYMB Abu Dhabi.

SEAWORLD ABU DHABI IN VIA DI COMPLETAMENTO

Da quanto riferiscono Miral e SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment la costruzione di SeaWorld Abu Dhabi sull'isola di Yas sta facendo grandi progressi. Il megaparco di vita marina, ora finito al 64%, sarà completato entro l’anno prossimo, ed ospiterà il più grande e vasto acquario di vita marina al mondo: 25 milioni di litri d'acqua dove vivranno oltre 68 mila creature dei mari, tra cui squali, pesci, mante e tartarughe marine. Un suo pezzo forte sarà Endless Vista, un’impressionante vetrata alta 20m su più livelli attraverso cui godersi delle splendide scene acquatiche. Gli ospiti saranno inoltre stimolati ad esplorare gli ambienti subacquei tramite tecniche di storytelling e tecnologie all'avanguardia, riuscendo così ad apprezzare e comprendere ancor di più la vita negli oceani. Vicino all'acquario ci sarà anche il centro di ricerca e recupero Yas SeaWorld Research and Rescue Center, il primo del suo genere negli Emirati Arabi. La struttura si integrerà con gli sforzi di SeaWorld nella ricerca, salvataggio, conservazione ed educazione, dimostrando anche il lavoro dei suoi scienziati e ricercatori e offrendo programmi educativi su misura per il pubblico locale e non. Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, CEO di Miral, ha dichiarato: “Siamo lieti di collaborare con SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment nello sviluppo di questo parco di vita marina di ultima generazione[…]. Il nuovo parco, la cui superficie sarà di 183 mila metriquadri, si aggiungerà alle attrazioni di livello mondiale già presenti a Yas Island, ossia Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi e CLYMB Abu Dhabi.
