Second Helpings

Second Helpings Atlanta is a nonprofit food rescue organization that works to reduce hunger and food waste in metro Atlanta by rescuing healthy and nutritious surplus food and distributing it to those in need. The $50,000 Gas South Impact Investment will equip them to expand their Food Rescue Network.

Feed the Children

Feed the Children’s mission is to provide hope and resources for those without life’s essentials. It’s one of the largest charities based in the U.S., providing more than 350,000 children around the world with a hot, nourishing meal every day. The full $50,000 will be used to open a new school pantry in a Title 1 school in the Fulton County School system. This includes providing set-up equipment and resources for the next school year.
