In March, Gas South was honored to be named with Atlanta’s 2022 Top Workplaces by the Atlanta JournalConstitution—our fifth year recognized since 2017.

Leadership and Integrity Award

In September, we won the Energy and Marketing Leadership and Integrity Award, a distinction bestowed on companies that work with an altruistic purpose.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Awards

Also in September, Gas South was recognized with HRO Today’s 2022 DEI Program of the Year Award and the 2022 Leaders of Distinction Award.

Employee Education Assistance

Twenty-four employees enrolled in Gas South’s Education Assistance program this year. The company supports employees who wish to continue their education to secure increased responsibility and growth within their professional careers.

Individual Employee Recognition

• Aisha DeBerry, Gas South Manager of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, was presented with this year’s Gwinnett Chamber Moxie Award, which “recognizes women who are making it happen” in their professions.

• Carley Stephens, Gas South’s Manager of Community Affairs, was included in this year’s Metro Atlanta 40 Under 40, a distinction that recognizes the professional accomplishments of those under 40 who are “making a mark” in their industries.
