TrailBlaze and Team Grants
TrailBlaze
Along with our two new ERGS in 2022, we also officially kicked off Gas South’s TrailBlaze Mentorship Program. Its mission is to empower employees to realize and grow into their full potential at Gas South—and beyond. Through facilitating mentoring relationships, providing opportunities for reflection and self-examination and teaching practical leadership skills, Trailblaze helps employees strengthen their self-confidence, find their voice, develop new goals and learn to wield influence in their personal lives and careers.

Team Grants
2022 marked our second official year for our Team Grants, a process that engages and empowers employees to take part in Gas South’s commitment to give in the communities we serve.

Team Grants are volunteer projects planned by employees, individually or as teams, that are funded by Gas South. Employees decide how they want to make a difference and Be A Fuel For Good, all while gaining skills to help them grow professionally. This year, our employees took part in 12 Team Grants.
“It was fantastic. Interacting with the kids was really fun and inspiring. It was great to see their energy and how this type of learning will directly impact their lives. I loved working on this with my team as well. I feel like it brought us closer together, honestly, seeing each other more fully as people and not just as coworkers.”
