WNC and BEST
Women’s Networking Circle (WNC)
Created in 2016, our Women’s Networking Circle is Gas South’s longest-running ERG. Its mission is to build an inclusive community to discuss and create awareness around topics and issues women face in the workplace. Our WNC also provides tools and resources for women and helps equip the allies who support them.

Taking Part:
Employees who identify as female are automatically included at hire, though participation isn’t mandatory. Each can remove herself at any time or get involved again later— membership is on a rolling basis.
By the Numbers:
59% of Gas South employees identified as women in 2022.
Black Employee Support Team (BEST)
Gas South’s Black Employee Support Team is one of two new ERGs we officially rolled out this year. The mission of BEST is to provide an open forum where Black employees and their allies aspire, develop and collaborate to reach their highest potential, represent Gas South within communities and serve as a key resource to the company for specific customers and employees.
Philosophy:
“To translate the passion of the individual me into the power of we through building business relationships, supporting one another in professional development and creating a sense of community among workplaces.”
Taking Part:
With a participation form released each September, any employee can take part in BEST— membership is on a rolling basis.
